When I first signed up to take CA realty courses, I was excited yet nervous. This is a new career path for me coming from the medical field but with the guidance and wonderful communication and assistance from my professor/Mentor Realtor Angela So, I regained my confidence and excitement for this new exciting journey. Her way of teaching made it easier for me to understand even the most complicated concepts. I did study using the textbook quizzes and online portal flash cards and test exam but also, the way the courses are designed make it much easier to understand. You do need to take it one step at a time but have faith in your abilities and you will get through this with a whole new outlook on life and a huge smile! I had to wait a few months before taking the State Exam due to Covid so I was extremely nervous that I had forgotten important information. So I took a crash course through CA Realty one week before the Exam, continued to study daily and I was able to PASS MY TEST!!! Wanted a place that had a program with a class room setting and they do provide that. I asked before enrolling if this was associated with any particular real estate company and they said yes, Keller Williams. My next question was whether or not this was a recruiting tool for the broker and if we/I would be solicited. And I was told no you wouldn't be solicited. The classes I've attend have been nice, the instructor is pleasant and shares some great real life stories. But.....during the 2 hour class, the first hour or so is on the course materials and then the remainder, usually another 10 to 20 minutes, is spent on recruiting. Not wanting to be rude I sit there and listen as the Keller Williams program is explained. My opinion is for a new agent this would be an excellent place to start as there seems to be a great mentoring program. That said, I would recommend anyone interested in this class/program to look around before deciding. The text books are available both online and hard copies if that is what you desire. The online portal has a test practice for your state exam, slide shows for every chapter in the books and the instructional videos for each chapter if you wish to add them to your program.
