Facility and staff were good. But, 3 months after moving in, received a notice in the mail that my monthly rate was DOUBLING from $82 to over $160. Rate increases are normal and expected with all storage facilities. However, doubling the rate a couple months in is a bait and switch. read more

My son got a storage unit here and he moved from one place to another thinking he's gonna pay less here and I was helping him make the payments after 3 months They went up three times the amount that they said, so I called them and they said to me we sent an email out stating that the fees were going up next month. I said I understand if you did or not but you went three times the amount I feel that they're not honest and upfront and do mislead some of the customers with the monthly fees and since they think they could get away with because all your belongings are there so if you don't pay the ridiculous fee you won't be able to get your stuff. The facility was fine. No problems except the rate. They quoted a rate and it was fine for 4 months. After 4 months they raised it 23%, of which I called and asked why, they had no specific reason just that is what it was going to be. So, I paid but was disappointed that they never said in 4 months they were raising the rate by 23%. Then another 4 months goes by and they raised it another 20%. I called again and asked why and they just said that will be the new rate. They did call the head office because I complained, and they managed to leave it the same. I had rented there before for 7 months and never had a rate increase. They should have told me that the rate increases were going to be so frequent. I gave my notice and moved out. So, renters beware, find out ahead of time when the rates will change. I assumed that it was for at least a year, and obviously it was not! read more

I looked around for a storage close by the area so I did not have to drive far and they were all pretty expensive. This storage facility was about half the price of others I checked out. I got 2 months half off deal that they were offering and the monthly price for the size unit I rented is also a great price. The facility itself is well maintained and clean. The manager stays on site and monitors the security system 24/7 which is nice. Lary helped us out he was very kind and helpful I'm not sure if I spelt his name right but he's a great guy easy to work with great attitude. I also met the manager In charge, Jhenny who is also friendly and easy to work with. Both employees have made my storage experience unforgettable I have referred friends and family here and I recommend anyone else looking to rent out a storage space to check them out! I would not recommend this storage to anyone. Our items were covered in rat poop and pee. We were unable to salvage a lot of our items due to this. They were completely ruined. The property directed us to submit an insurance claim and they told us to list out all of our items that were damaged and that the insurance would take care of it. They told us this knowing that the insurance company only paid out a max of $500 for rat related issues. The insurance company they have is also terrible. I was in contact with upper management of their insurance company and their responses were childish and disrespectful. In addition to this, our unit was being opened without our knowledge and they were placing rat bait inside. We would find new green blocks of bait with each visit. After our insurance claim, we came back to our unit to find a rat trap with a dead rat inside. DO NOT RENT HERE. Upon finding the rat, I immediately went to the front office and had them come back and take photos of it because I wanted it documented in their records. The property manager argued with me that they don't enter into anyone's units. I asked her for camera footage of the hallway and she could not provide it for me. read more

Don't store your stuff here!!! Especially if you plan on leaving things in storage for awhile. This place is a scam. They are ALWAYS increasing the rent. Like every 6 months it goes up. Jhenny was honest and took the time to show me the two units I was interested in. She answered all my questions with courtesy, compassion, and professionalism. She gained my trust and I didn't even bother to go visit any other storage facilities after speaking with her. I signed and chose US Storage that same day. Excellent experience with Jhenny! During the weekend, I got to meet another fantastic US Storage representative, Andrea, who was extremely kind and patient with me. I was there to rent the US Storage truck and Andrea made the transaction quick and I appreciated the time she took to go through and explained the paperwork with me. She has a calm, happy demeanor and showed genuine interested in helping me and others too. I observed her being very professional with the gentleman/customer after me. All in all, I truly appreciate both Jhenny and Andrea, because they both displayed superb customer care and had great knowledge in their field. Because of Jhenny and Andrea, I will definitely recommend US Storage to my friends and family. Thank you!!! As for US Storage and their units, it's very safe!!! There are cameras everywhere and they do a great job monitoring people going in and out, especially with the gate. I appreciate and trust their additional on-site staff security protection. We had our stuff here for 3 months and nothing was disturbed/missing/or even dusty after not opening the unit once during that whole time period. Based on customer service alone, this place deserves 5 stars. Debbie is amazing and is the epitome of customer service: kind, helpful, and genuine. All of our questions were answers, all of our needs were met and we never faced a single issue when renting a storage facility here. I don't have much else to say because they're so great here. So rented a storage unit. You know the special price. Within a few months I got a notice saying they were raising the rent due to the high demand in storage units . Ok. Fine. That's how they make up for the special "move in special" now less than a year later same thing raising your rent due to high demand. I have found a nicer facility with plenty of units. Temperature controlled clean inside and out. What costed them was i was in the process of a move and needed two more units. I am now at another place with multiple units. They shall collect my money. Lol If you are going to rent a unit from this company. Keep in mind they will raise your rent pretty quickly. The upside of the place is the staff. The property manager, Jhenny, was absolutely amazing! It's my first time renting a storage unit to keep some of my personal belongings locked in, and because I did request the most basic storage unit available, fortunately, there was one available, and it just happen to be right next to the entrance/exit door of the storage facility. Jhenny took a moment to go over the do's and don'ts of the facility, she gave me a tour of the facility in a golf cart, and specifically pointed out where my unit was and how to roll it open and close, as well as using a specific lock to keep the unit secured. The pricing is reasonable for a standard unit, and I did get half-off the first month's rent. I was pleased with the operation, and I'm glad I picked this facility to patronize, since it's conveniently located up the street from my work place.
