Respect, discipline, integrity, confidence, honesty, perseverance and the importance of family are…read morejust a few of Valentin Karate's principals.  These principals are taught through demonstration, talks, games and by the way each instructor treats his/her students and their parents.   This review is long overdue.  We have been proud members of the Valentin Karate Family for over two years.  We initially enrolled with hopes to strengthen our son's motor skills while having fun.  Not only did our child's gross motor skills and coordination greatly improve, his self-confidence sky-rocketed.   When you enter any one of the Valentin Karate studios you are immediately greeted by the Master and his instructors.  Every single instructor knows my son's name and his interests.  They encourage him to do his best, to never give up and to be honest.  The instructors go out of their way to make every child shine.  They share each child's triumphs, their successes, they give them opportunities to lead the class and they understand that every child learns in a different way on a different day.  They never belittle students.  They only speak  words of encouragement.  They stress the importance of listening to your parents, doing well in school and they teach anti-bullying.     My son and his baby sister looks forward to going to every class.  Being a spectator from the time that she started crawling, the instructors often included his baby sister in the fun. They acknowledge her in class and during tournaments. They make her feel like a big kid which motivates her to be the best that she can be.  Not only do my children feel great while they are at Karate; I feel great as a parent knowing that my children are learning karate skills and great life lessons.  Valentin Karate offers so many activities for its families and they give so much to the community.   My children not only benefit from learning Tang Soo Do, but they have the opportunity of being part of a second family that nurtures them by giving them self-confidence, discipline and respect for themselves and others. Master Valentin owns and operates Valentin Karate and works along with his spouse, children, siblings and nieces and nephews and so many great instructors.  He stresses that every student is part of his family.  His devotion to his students, his great sense of humor, his knowledge and his extensive experience make him a great instructor and a successful business owner.
