Vehicle towed in after accident by Ventura Towing, which by the way their the same company . Not my choice of tow company. Went in next day to get it out, guy tries to convince me to keep the car there for insurance claim purposes. Of course we didn't fall for that trap. Then all of sudden debit card reader not working so only cash. They offered to to tow the car home, which I declined because the tow company I got AMPM Towing charges 80 bucks less than these guys. The AMPM guys wanted to see how the car was parked and the guy working at the tow yard said only one guy allowed and the other one has to stay in truck. Then they asked if they can at least move the vehicle foward to gain access, USA auto Collison said they will charge a tow fee to move it foward, ridiculous. I was involved in a car wreck ... the other party, being at fault, took very long in their investigation of whether they were liable or not. Being very distraught due to the situation of not even a vehicle, Alex went beyond for me and processed everything on my insurance's end and got my insurance to process everything and fix my vehicle in no time (noone else assisted). I had no idea on where to start or how things were processed since this was my first time dealing with this situation. The process was very well handled since day one and the owner made the process really smooth. My car came out perfect like if nothing was ever wrong with it. This is the worst auto body collision place I've ever been to. My car was in a collision with an animal and required front end repairs. Being that it was my first accident ever, I made the mistake of Googling a shop rather than go by recommendation. At first, the shop seemed to be perfectly in order and the attendant, was more than willing to accommodate me. We dropped the car off that morning and they stated that it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks just pending the insurance adjuster's evaluation of the car which would occur the next day. Fast forward, 2. 5 MONTHS and my car is just now being completed. The past 2 months have been a nightmare. Dealing with the back and forth between this shop, their contradictions and their bickering with my insurance has been the worst experience of my life. Not only did they refuse to work with my insurance (even though at first they said they would) but their policies and charges seemed outrageous. Overcharging left and right. How does it cost over $10k to repair front end bumper and hood damage? The worst part is that whatever your insurance doesn't cover will be charged to you. So I implore you, do not give this shop your business. I wish I had been forewarned before taking my car to this horrible place. DON'T DO IT. read more
