Lookup negative Google reviews Yelp reviews and please read them. Below is a summary of what you will find. I personally also was a victim of USA Carship scam, primarily bait and switch offering low transportation proposal and then charging more than double the proposal amount (even though I received a written proposal), charge 3 times on my credit card the deposit amount of $150.00, and never able to ship my car for the proposed amount. USA Carship employs multiple deceptive and exploitative practices to scam consumers seeking car transportation services. These include: - Bait-and-Switch Pricing: Consumers are quoted a low initial price, only to have the cost drastically increased just before pickup, leveraging the customer's urgent need to secure transportation. - False Commitments: The company repeatedly fails to meet promised pickup schedules, citing vague excuses such as driver issues, and forces customers into costly rescheduling or cancellations. - Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits are taken upfront under false pretenses and are not refunded when the company fails to deliver on its commitments. - Harassment and Poor Customer Service: Consumers report being disrespected, mocked, and pressured into accepting inflated prices, with little to no recourse for grievances. - Third-Party Schemes: The company disguises itself as a different entity to re-scam consumers, perpetuating a cycle of fraud. - Violation of Contracts: Written agreements are often ignored or manipulated, leaving customers with no choice but to pay significantly more than agreed. - Fraudulent Damage Claims: In cases of damage, the company refuses accountability, despite advertising robust insurance coverage. USA Carship's conduct reflects clear violations of consumer protection laws, including bait-and-switch tactics, deceptive advertising, and refusal to honor contractual obligations. I urge affected consumers to file complaints with the CFPB and relevant state authorities to facilitate regulatory action against this predatory entity.

Never actually picked up my car and yet they've still charged me and won't provide a refund. Stay far far away from this company.

I signed up on a site to get quotes, did not notice sellers DOT number was still visible, which allowed transport companies to look up dot number and obtain companies name and phone number, transport companies started contacting the seller to arrange pick up, outside of the site I was using to get bids, misleading the seller as if they were the hired transport company. This made the process more stressful, and caused confusion with the seller. Quotes I received on the website ranged from $2600-$3300.00 to transport the truck. Pick up window averaged up to 7 days after transport as booked. Each company that responded, I checked their reviews on BBB/google, their business registration on Secretary of State in the state they were located, and checked the operating status on FMCSA site. I was surprised to see horrible reviews on BBB, and some unprofessional responses from the companies and some brokerages/transport companies had no authorization status on FMCSA I happened to come across Amerifreight on google by accident! I checked BBB (4.8 rating), S.O.S (active/in compliance) and FMCSA (authorized brokerage). I was interested in speaking with them; they had the best history by far on BBB, authority on FMCSA. I called and spoke with Lisa Henderson. She was the most informative agent I spoke with, very upfront about what her company does and what to expect during the process. They only use companies with 4.5 star rating, they vet each company before they are assigned. She reassured me that she would be with me through the entire process, from arranging transport, pick up, and delivery. After I signed up with Amerifreight, with in a couple of hours Lisa had found a transport company, that could pick up the truck the following day (12/6/23) eta arrival 12/7/2023 for $1415.00, requiring a $315 deposit at time of booking, and remainder paid to transport company. Due to shady transport companies bothering the seller, Lisa went a step further and arranged for seller to contact transport company to arrange pick up time to ensure the truck was released to the correct company. After seller made contact with transport company set up pick up time at noon on 12/6/2023. I immediately received an update, the driver reached out and introduced himself. When driver showed up to load the truck he called me to confirm last 6 digits of vin to ensure correct truck was being loaded. I inquired about ETA a couple hours later for following day, attempt to arrange for someone to be at the shop, driver responded promptly eta 1-2pm, would let me know better eta in the morning. First thing the next morning I received an update transport would arrive around 2:00pm, which ended up being the time of arrival. Truck was unloaded quickly, no issues, guy was nice, professional, thorough at the time of drop off. Lisa kept her word and checked in randomly to ensure we had no concerns during transport! I'm very pleased with my experience with Amerifreight and transport company. They worked together, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was great!

It was my first time…read moreshipping a vehicle, and despite all of the initial research I did, I learned from firsthand experience that working with most major car shipping companies that are broker-based will always be a gamble. I am a student and could not afford anything that wasn't an open-carry, broker-based situation, so I decided to go with Amerifreight. I have mixed feelings that lean more negative than positive. The cons: - I was initially quoted 1,200, which was 200-300 dollars lower than other competitors. That seemed reasonable to me, so I accepted. I soon learned that in the case of Amerifreight, A QUOTE IS A QUOTE. - Once you agree to work with Amerifreight, your representative will periodically call you with carrier offers that might be higher than your original quote. My first offer came a week and a half before my departure date, and was 1,700. I turned it down immediately. Three days before I left for Arkansas, I received and accepted an offer of 1,225 dollars. I am glad that I waited it out, but for those who have less flexibility in their schedule, this waiting game can be anxiety-inducing and frustrating. - The drop off went pretty smoothly, but you REALLY have to be flexible since the carrier gives you such a large time window. - My driver was a day and a half late on the delivery. The carrying company/his boss called me with updates, and I tried to be as patient and accommodating as possible. Once he did arrive, I was hassled by his boss with a barrage of phone calls. He not only yelled at me for not meeting the driver outside immediately but also demanded that I pay upfront in cash, which was definitely NOT stipulated in the agreement. When I told him that I did not agree to pay in cash and that there were no ATMs or banks within walking distance, he continued shouting. In that moment, I was convinced that they were going to hold me and my car hostage, lol. Eventually, the driver had the bright idea to ask his boss if I could either pay using Zelle or Venmo, and the boss immediately switched up, saying, "Oh, why didn't you ask about paying with Zelle or Venmo in the first place? Sure!" Like I knew that was an option...??? After that ordeal, I finally received my car. :)))) Pros: - My car was undamaged, and the cargo I had inside was untouched. - Despite the boss being a total chud, the driver was a nice guy. - I paid a lower price...but at what cost??

It was about a month ago that I went on a road trip to visit one of my close friend in Atlanta for a visit. While I was there, my friend was on the position of moving out to Louisiana, I never thought that I would also be going to Louisiana during this trip. He was having trouble finding a way to move most of his stuff to his new place, so we decided to hit up all the sources that we could find online. We were so lucky to bump into CCM, the response from them was fast and they were able to beat all the quotes that we received from other companies. So we made our appointment and everything goes from there. The service started with promptness and courtesy. The managers were very prompt and honest in their responses and communication of the pre-move arrangements. Men introduced themselves and we went over the process thoroughly. They were able to ease the stress of moving by telling me that the job was going to go fine and that everything will be taken care of. I had many unique pieces and they were handled with care. I recommend getting insurance. The team worked well together and were experts in the area of packing and putting everything on the truck. They unloaded with care and left when I was satisfied with the entire job. They did a great job in all-from preparing all items to protect them, carefully moving them and setting everything up. They were professional and very courteous and helpful in all aspects of the move. It was the best and most professional move I have had and everything was delivered and set up without a scratch. They wrapped my furniture and took care with everything they moved. They covered my floors and put everything right where I wanted it. I will definitely recommend to my friends and I will never use anyone else if I ever have to move again. Thank you so much Cross Country Movers for being awesome!!!
