I had a very poor experience with US CarShip. First, they provided a lowball ship estimate to get me to sign their exclusive contract with $100 deposit, (which provided no price guarantee and required you to use their service or pay $200 cancellation fee). The contract failed to disclose (Nor did they disclose verbally) that they had $150 broker fee, regardless of the transport price. The original quotes were 3 to 4 times the original estimate. Their final quote was 2 times their original estimate (which they required me to take or charge me a $200. cancellation fee. The final estimate they quoted was $100 greater and the transporters quote. Also, they requested an $100 advance for the Transporter for gas but never provided that to the transporter. In summary, They charged me $450 for their service for a transport That only cost $400. Steer clear of this firm and their scam practices. read more

They get 1 star only because the car was actually delivered. Was not picked up or dropped off on time but it eventually came. Now let me explain my experience. I was quoted $800 and paid a $150 deposit fee to get a driver assigned. Once a driver was assigned the price magically doubled. The drivers don't know nor do they make contact with the representatives you speak to over the phone. The quote you're given is solely to make you pay a deposit. After having to get 3 different drivers assigned because of dumb reasons like they "lost their phone" or they "need another day" the 4th driver actually came to pick up my car after I called the company enraged. Once the 4th driver was assigned they told me the driver requests an additional $200 deposits for "fuel and expenses" which turned out to be false since I now have text message proof the driver was unaware of this. What I late found out was that the "formal contract" turned out to be an agreement to transfer my agreement to someone I only know as "Steve".at a price of $1,200. What a painful experience! My broker was William Tod. He was very persistent with very frequent calls trying to earn my business. I informed him that I was shopping around with estimates. William pressed on and frequently called me. He gave me a really great quote of $695. He stated that once I sign the contract, there could be flex in the balance but it would not be more than $150. The deposit was $150. All I had to do is pay the driver the balance of $545 cash. When it came to the pick up day, the driver never showed up. When I called William, he said he could have a driver at my location in two hours but the driver wanted more money. The balance would be $1,500. I was shocked. This was 3 times the estimated quote. I did not have that type of money. He explained to me till the point of nauseam that this is the going rate for the distance my care needed to be transported. He even threw the "the contract that you signed" line. I was fully enraged. I tried to explain that he should have done his due diligence of researching accurate rates to provide me with an actual estimate. William just kept on trying to explain that the rates are set by the driver as if I could not understand what he was trying to say. Even after requesting the speak with a supervisor, the supervisor was either at lunch or just not available. I even requested a refund. William Tod stated that a refund would not be in my best interest because the rates are set forth by the driver. If he was honest from the start, I could have made a better purchasing decision including perhaps maybe not shipping the car at all. This process started at the end of August and the car was not delivered till the beginning of September. The cost was $849. This brought the grand total (with the deposit) to $999. This rate was still $304 over the original estimate. William Tod pitched this deal to be the best for me because payment was not due until the time of delivery. This is NOT a benefit. Paying either at the pick up time or delivery time makes zero difference. I'm paying either way. USA CarShip has poor business practice and I would not recommend them and I would not be choosing them to ship my car back to my location. read more
