I am hoping that my delivery here in Grovetown Ga does not come with more dissappointing surprises. I went over my inventory with Juan and he gave me a quote of $2400.00. When the movers arrived I had 20 Boxes more and a step ladder. So they told Me it was going to be 6000 dollars more. I asked them why ;for 20 More boxes and a step ladder it would be over double the original price and I was told because they had to wrap stuff . WTH. I do not feel this company is honest and they think they have you corndered on move day. When I told Them I was cancelling they did being it down to 3700 but even that is over what I was told it would be and 1300 dollars for 20'bixes and a step ladder is a lot. Cross Country Movers did not fail me! My boyfriend was working in Atlanta when he got offered a position at his dream company back in LA. So the hunt began to find an affordable and reliable moving company. I contacted CCM for an estimate on my boyfriend's moving costs and received a reply promptly with very competitive rates. I proceeded to call to get more info and their customer service along with excellent pricing won me over. We went ahead and scheduled a moving date. I flew out to Atlanta to help my boyfriend and make sure everything went as smooth as possible. He had all of his stuff packed and wrapped excluding the bigger furniture pieces. On the scheduled date CCM contacted me prior to arrival letting me know they were on the way. (Thank you for the heads up!!) They arrived right on time and were polite and ready to work. They brought moving blankets which came in handy to wrap the large furniture and taped it securely so no dents or scratches would happen . They also had a large spool of Saran Wrap type plastic, to wrap some pieces up (best moving wrap ever). Everything got loaded in the truck faster than I anticipated yet carefully enough not to break anything. The movers informed us of their scheduled arrival date in LA and we arranged to have everything dropped off at my house. Fast forward to the delivery day!! I get a another call CCM is almost at my home in LA with my boyfriends things (yaaay!) The movers unloaded everything where we instructed them to, verified if any damages were caused (which we did not see) and told us to contact them if anything arises. We unpacked everything and luckily found nothing of concern so extra kudos for that! I've used professional movers before and ended up with broken/scratched furniture so I was beyond pleased with the whole experience we received. Cross Country Movers basically saved me about ~20 years from my lifespan. I had to move my car from Atlanta to San Diego by a specific date, and the auto shipping company I was initially going through encountered some problems on the road which was going to delay my car's arrival significantly. You can only imagine how frantically I was calling around different auto shipping companies after this. Despite me calling on a relatively short notice, CCM was able to accommodate for me and quickly provide me with a range of pick-up dates. They were able to pick my car up on the first day provided and it got here within six days. Upon drop-off, the driver also allowed me to check my car thoroughly for any signs of damage (which there wasn't any of). While the shipment was relatively pricey, I would say it was much worth it given their honesty, level of communication, and high quality of service - and especially because of the time crunch I was in. Finally get the chance to leave a review for Cross Country Movers, I've been forgetting to leave one for minute. It was about a month ago that I went on a road trip to visit one of my close friend in Atlanta for a visit. While I was there, my friend was on the position of moving out to Louisiana, I never thought that I would also be going to Louisiana during this trip. He was having trouble finding a way to move most of his stuff to his new place, so we decided to hit up all the sources that we could find online. We were so lucky to bump into CCM, the response from them was fast and they were able to beat all the quotes that we received from other companies. So we made our appointment and everything goes from there. The service started with promptness and courtesy. The managers were very prompt and honest in their responses and communication of the pre-move arrangements. Men introduced themselves and we went over the process thoroughly. They were able to ease the stress of moving by telling me that the job was going to go fine and that everything will be taken care of. I had many unique pieces and they were handled with care. I recommend getting insurance. The team worked well together and were experts in the area of packing and putting everything on the truck. They unloaded with care and left when I was satisfied with the entire job. They did a great job in all-from preparing all items to protect them, carefully moving them and setting everything up. They were professional and very courteous and helpful in all aspects of the move. It was the best and most professional move I have had and everything was delivered and set up without a scratch. They wrapped my furniture and took care with everything they moved. They covered my floors and put everything right where I wanted it. So I closed a deal with this company about a month ago and everything was okay until they came to pick up my furniture and the guys didn't wrap my furniture on blankets as they were supposed to and they MADE ME GIVE THEM A $200 tip saying that they weren't gonna leave my house. And when the other guys went to deliver my furniture pretty much ALL OF MY ITEMS had scratches and were damaged. My bed was broken and had missing pieces. When the show up at my home the movers did not have the Necessary Tools needed. They had to borrow tools from me to do their job. I had contracted for them to take apart and move a full size pool table and ended up happening to take it apart myself. Now two weeks after picking up my things and 9 days after my delivery date they say that a tractor trailer can not unload at my complex. They say that they have software that tells them this and will be charging me $500 dollars more than contracted. Tractor trailer have and do off load at this complex all the time. The truck driver called to say he was loading a small truck at there storage Facility. Now a Supervisor calls me to tell me that they had to rent a small truck to bring my thing and if I do not first pay the the extra $500 they will hold my things Hostage. This is my 10th move in twenty year. I'm in the hospitality business and move alot. I have never experienced anything like this before. Please know that Cross Country Movers will break every promise that they make and when you ask to be put in touch with there boss they will tell you that they are the last word in the matter. Three things that want to update as per my experience Quote - You have to be careful with the quote, please submit each and every object you have if not the company might charge you extra and they will take it from the credit card you put on their file. Delivery -Delivery was ok they delivered my belongings in a week time which they promised so they are good with that . But they can take up to 20 business days as the longest time they will take as per the contract. Shuttle Truck - They Might add you a shuttle truck which is around 250 bucks if your receiving apartment/home owners doesn't allow the 18 wheeler truck. I didn't actually use Cross Country Movers for my move, although I tried. I submitted a quote request through Yelp and didn't hear back. I called the company next day. I gave Mark my details and was told that I'd receive a call from the estimator. That call never happened either. Judging by the reviews, it sounds like they do good work, but I won't give them the opportunity. There's too much involved in a move. I paid a deposit back in November 2019. Had to change my move date and was able to do that. I've been trying to get a new estimate since December because my address changed to this day I haven't received a returned call regarding this because my rate is going to change. Yesterday I left a voicemail for a manager to call me but still no returned call. At this point I'd like a full refund of my deposit as honestly I do not feel comfortable with using this company. I was charged $180 extra to create a couple of mirrors and a tv set, but when my things got here I found out that nothing has been created , so now I got a broken mirror and a broken tv. I send an email to the lady that set up the move and to the office and nobody has a reply , I think ones they get your money the service stop there. And to top it off the driver shows up with no help to unload the truck so I have to go find somebody to help him and I have to pay that person too very poor service I would not recommend this moving company to anybody read more

Moving is never a fun experience but I am so glad that I went with cross country movers!! The company is owned by such lovely ladies with excellent customer service that made my move from Los Angeles to Atlanta so seamless and enjoyable. Not only were all of my possessions and furniture successfully transitioned but my car was brought across the country as well. The moving crew was efficient and treated everything very carefully. They packed and unpacked all of my belongings and even helped with arranging my furniture once it arrived!! Thank you Chy for talking me through such a big move. Moving is terrible but it I much better when you hire cross country movers!! I've rented a uhaul before but for my most recent move I hired hear guys and what a great decision!! Holly and chy have their own crew and trucks -no subcontracting!! The crew was excellent to deal with and treated all of my possessions as if they were their own. Moving from Kansas to atlanta was the most massive move I've ever done but it was by far the easiest because of this company. They had insurance and worked extremely well with my his and the restrictions that they put on elevator tim. Th crew even helped arrange my furniture in my new home!! From say o finish there is not a single complain I have with this company. Thank you guys so much for all of your help!! So professional and the amount the quoted me was right on point. cross country movers did such a great job of moving me a few weeks ago. I am finally now getting settled and I am beyond thankful for how great they were, so I figured I'd take the time to write a review. I am extremely happy with their communication during this process and how quickly they were able to get everything done. It's scary putting your belongings in someone else's hands and they were so smooth and trustworthy. I moved from LA to Atlanta and they were able to get my belongs there right when I touched down with no delay or hiccups along the way! The entire staff was beyond helpful, i wish I could remember the movers name but he was so open to taking the heavy items upstairs for me with no issue plus it has been raining and he managed to keep my new place clean and kept my boxes from getting wet. I had a lot of big and fragile items, and they were extra cautious and handled all of them with such ease! Moving is so stressful and it's almost impossible to narrow down your stuff (all my items ended up on the take with me side haha) and thankfully they had really great rates for moving across the country, i def recommend them! read more
