Don't use this company for a long term move. In great detail they will go over the contract with…read moremuch reassurance that you will not get hit up later for additional charges, that the actual amount on your contract is what you will owe. It is all a lie. You pay a third of the amount deposit to Hercules upon signing the contract, not even aware that is it not Hercules who is coming to move your belongings. When the actual truck shows up at the door it will be a third party mover who will then upcharge you for every little item (like indoor stairs, etc, etc) and you will be anxiously negotiating with someone who speaks very little english to keep the cost to what your signed contract states. You will lose. You will pay a now increased third of the cost to the mover. Then, when your household items arrive 2 weeks later, a subcontractor to the third party contractor will do the same thing. My $4000 move turned into a $ 5500 move (they argued for $6500), final payment in CASH, and I had to borrow money from my mother to get my stuff! In truth, I could have saved that $1500 first deposit to Hercules and dealt with the actual moving company, if I only had known. Hercules, apparently, was just a broker, did nothing to earn their share except mislead me. It was a lesson hard learned for me. The cheapest is not always the best. Go with a well known reliable company for long-term moves.
