This was the best moving experience we have ever had. Starting and ending with Fermin the Supervisor, who came to our house to review the contents and provide us with a quote. He was courteous, fast, professional and gave us a competitive quote. Compare this to two other companies who would not come to the house and were going to quote based on pictures we were supposed to take. Moving day came and Fermin was, as promised leading a team of 4 men to pack on day one and seven to move everything from house to house on day two. Every single person was friendly and helpful and treated our stuff as if it was their own. Fermin managed everything and remembered which room things came from and needed to go to. While helping like all others, Fermin kept took his notes and kept everything moving at a rapid pace. They packed up 2 large trucks so well that everything fit. As a matter of fact, they had to tie 2 mattresses to the outside of the truck. They started at 8am each day and ended day two at 7pm. The best movers ever. I have moved at least 35 times in my life. That's an estimate--I've lost count. Shark Movers handled my last three (or four?) moves. Fermin was the lead on all of them. The 3-man crew started in my 1800sf home in Spring. They cleared out a house filled with furniture, TVs, and boxes in 3-4 hours. This included a bunch of stuff in the garage and backyard. They even helped put some things in my partner's truck. I didn't have to box up every single item. I have large pieces of art that the crew just handled. They dealt with printers and some other small items. They took the TVs off the mounts. There's no way I could do that. Everything is properly wrapped and handled. They dropped off some boxes at a local storage unit then headed off to Katy to take everything else to my son's house. Total job took 7 hours and 2 moving blankets. Moving is stressful, but now that we're older, it's physically challenging. We need help with all of it. What a wonderful experience! All three men were extremely thorough at wrapping all our belongings to make sure nothing was damaged in the move. We didn't have the right tools so they took apart my bedroom furniture and unhooked the water line to the fridge and unhooked the W/D. These guys are wonderful! They were able to move my furnishings and furniture from Manvel to The Woodlands. They are extremely professional and efficient. It only took them an hour to move my things from a one bedroom apartment to another. About 3 hours total including the drive. They wrapped my furniture with moving blankets and plastic wrap and where careful with all pieces of furniture. Fernin, Alejandro and Juan were really great I will highly recommend this moving group. A great team from Shark came and packed a 16' Pod for us. It included several large items and a number of fragile antiques, and everything was wrapped, handled, and packed beautifully. Fermin was the crew chief and organized the whole operation. Not one wall nick or paint scrape! Tips: Have a good supply of furniture pads on hand - we used 2 dozen. Also have a supply of strong, non-stretchy rope on hand. The rope can be tied between rings inside the van or pod to secure items, especially tall ones, and keep them from shifting in transit. Again, this team knew how to do that and did it very well, with the ropes securely placed in ways that would minimize movement and friction. We were very pleased and will use this company again for our next move. Highly recommended! read more

I had reserved our move 3 weeks prior to the Covid 19. After the order for "stay at home" was implemented, I called Stacey to confirm that they would still be operating (I had been in contact with her via email for other questions and concerns regarding my move) and she told me my movers would be there as scheduled. They actually arrived an hour early which was great. The previous day I had rented a Uhaul and moved boxes that were in the garage myself to my new place (which also has a detached garage). The crew was great, no talking on the phones, did take water breaks because it was humid, but they wrapped the furniture and carried it downstairs into the moving truck in less than 2 hours. They put boxes and furniture in the detached garage as well as in the new apartment, and when I changed my mind where I wanted items including furniture stores, they moved it without any problem. They were finished in 2.45 hours, but had to pay 3 hours because of the min....which WAS FINE! I did tip each movers (3 in total) $60.00 each, which was well worth it. Will USE THEM AGAIN, if I move locally. GREAT JOB! read more

This is the second time we've engaged Shark Movers and their work continues to be the best in the business. Here are the things I remember about today. They were due for a minimum engagement at 9:00AM. I received a call from Fermin about 8:50AM saying they were arriving and would come to our unit as they laid down the protective slats between our unit and the service elevator. Over the course of the next three hours they completely moved all of our furniture from our 1754sf unit to a 1468sf unit one floor below and cleaned up behind themselves by staying in constant motion and not taking a step without a purpose. In June, I hired a 4 man crew to move lots of boxes and some furniture from a 2 story house to another home. They arrived early, worked non-stop the entire time and finished in 4.5 hours. The team wraps furniture as needed to protect the contents, covers the carpet to from tracking in dirt, and is very mindful of the small details. Fermin was excellent in attitude and pointing me to all small scratches etc to ensure I am aware of them before the move. Office team is very friend and polite. Staff that came to the house was nice, professional and super friendly as well. They did a great job taking the furniture apart and put it back together without any issue or damage. The refrigerator gave them a bit of trouble but they managed and worked it out (gently). They wrapped everything in blankets, pads, and plastic and made sure to let us know about any existing scratches on our items. I am not wealthy not by a long shot. This company is insured, they have the proper licenses, and they are not subcontracted workers. Get a quote!
