I don't know in what world they live in where they think it's cool to charge someone $40 and not fully follow up with them. I trusted the reviews because I needed a quick move in. I updated them, I was responsive, and we had an appointment confirmed. THE ONLY reason I considered changing the dates was because of the weather and safety hazards, I was thinking about THEM! He said he'd check on the weather and never got back to me, I politely asked for my deposit back, he read it and did not respond. I'm not going to hound a "business," to do their job or be ethical, and if they want to respond in the replies about not being able to get back to me---as you can see they read my message when I asked for my money back, it's complete hogwash. Everything was working when you got the funds so don't even try it. You're not IG models or a call service, I'm not paying $40 for a conversation, and to take ANY amount of money from people at times like these---when 4/5 ppl are living paycheck to paycheck is sick. If they were able to work for you, great, but they did not work, AT ALL, for me. I do not recommend even wasting your time, find a verified service on here and pay the extra money. You try to be within budget and support small businesses at the same time, and you get played. Combat me if you want to like I've seen you do the 1-star reviews, I have the full message thread on video and I do not need a Yelp reply, I need my money back. Used Cacho this morning to move. I didn't need the frills and extra stuff other companies try to up charge and nickle and dime you on. These guys showed up on time, and came to work. Nothing fancy, and got the job done in under 2 hours. Wrapped and protected the electronics and wood furnitures. Followed directions on where to put items inside the apartment, super friendly, responded quickly to messages and priced competitively. Let's start with the reasons I chose Cacho Movers. Great price quote, easy to communicate with and they were able to accommodate my change in move dates with no problem. I waited to post a review until after I tried to amicably deal with the situation first hand. Now, here's where it turned into a disaster experience. They showed up with a trailer, not a moving truck, although they clearly told me they would have a truck. Mind you, I had a 2bed/2 bath apartment. It took them nearly 3 hours just to load in. All of my things, of course, did not fit in the trailer, which would have meant more trips, and of course more money. My boxes arrived upside down and damaged. At 3.5 hours I sent them on their way. I hired movers to make one trip. Out and in. Clearly that was not going to happen. I reached out for a resolution to this matter and was met with a very condescending tone, referred to me as "young man"and a refusal to consider reimbursement. I am a married woman, not a young man. I have moved cross country many times. I've never felt so scammed and taken advantage of, and exploited out of money. If you value your belongings, or your money, do not hire this company. read more

Cacho Movers did an excellent job for me...2 times within a month. My first experience with them was for the furniture items. I thought I could move the small items, myself. Silly me. A few weeks later I call upon them, again. I lived on the 3rd floor and couldn't carry boxes and bags quickly enough to meet my end date at the apartment. Those guys got it done! I was a little disappointed that the team did not show up on time for the 1st appointment we had scheduled and communication was poor as I was only notified 15 minutes after they were supposed to arrive that they were going to be late by 4 hours. We rescheduled for the next day and they pulled it off perfectly, arriving on time and doing the move efficiently. If they improved their communication on the 1st day's appointment, I would have given them a 5. I do recommend them though and would use them again. read more

My scheduled time was for 1 pm Saturday, he called 30 min before 1 pm to let me know he'd had to move it back about an hour which I didn't mind at all! Communication is key! Rescheduled but cancelled again 14 hours before the move. -- "We are very sorry friend but we cannot help you with the move....Tell us how we can return the security deposit because this week we won't be able to help you, we're sorry."
