HORRIBLE! DO NOT BE FOOLED!…read more Esea Van Lines apparently contracted with Panther's Moving and Storage out of (Liberty) Austin, TX for my move. Esea Van Lines initially quoted an estimated moving price of approximately $5,666 based on a 1,000 cubic foot estimate. However, after the Panther's movers arrived in a Ryder truck and were midway through packing my home, I received a call from Diana with Panthers alleging "there was not enough room on the truck" and that my inventory now required 1,325 cubic feet, increasing the price to over $8,800. Additionally, I was informed of a $500 packing charge for fragile items, specifically including two televisions and two mirrors that had already been disclosed and itemized during the estimate process with Esea. I offered to personally pack those items myself and requested clarification regarding what specific items allegedly exceeded the quoted truck space. Diana agreed to consult with a supervisor and call me back. While I awaited a callback from Diana regarding these issues, the foreman for the move, John, also with Panthers, was on the phone with his supervisor and abruptly stated that he was "done packing" because I "didn't want to pay for packing". John, then went throughout the house and loudly instructed the workers to stop packing and stating: "She's refusing to pay for it so we aren't packing anything for her." When I explained I was waiting for Diana to call back so we could resolve the pricing dispute John repeatedly spoke to me in a degrading and hostile manner, telling me to pick my "priority items", because he was not going to move the full house. When I asked what he meant. John mocked me in front of his crew, asking each worker whether they understood what "priority" meant and stating: "She's the only one here not getting it." He also stated: "We don't have to take your stuff. You'll be stuck. I'm getting paid for the full day regardless." Even after, Esea called back and stated that Panther's would load all items on my estimate inventory on the truck, John (Panthers) refused and started to close up the back of the truck without any of my belongings. At that point, I informed him his behavior was unprofessional, intimidating, and making me uncomfortable and requested that he leave. He refused to leave my property due to wanting to come inside the house and unpack the items he packed and retrieve the moving blankets. I then contacted Esea and advised that I would call the police because I feared for my safety due to his escalating behavior. I also overheard John refer to me as a "stupid b*itch" on more than one occasion. A potential renter even called my realtor stating she was interested in seeing the property, but there were multiple men sitting outside of the house and she felt uneasy. During this time two workers advised me that this is allegedly how Panthers commonly operates: increasing prices after items are packed or loaded and pressuring customers into paying thousands more to avoid unloading fees or delays for their move. Apparently, most people succumb and pay. Eventually, Esea texted and acknowledged the situation needed to be resolved and stated she would ask John to leave the property. Even then, John refused to leave and attempted to re-enter my home to unpack the items that were packed and remove the blankets. This entire experience was unacceptable, coercive, deceptive, and deeply distressing. Panther's company's conduct appears consistent with a bait-and-switch pricing scheme in which customers are pressured into paying substantially higher amounts after packing. Additionally, they employ unsavory employees, like John. You've been warned!

The only response I got was send me a picture of the damage but no follow up with replacing or fixing my end table so i let it go. My next move I requested a two bedroom move and all of my furniture didn't fit on the truck not to mention they showed up late . The main issue this time was I had three televisions to move and they damaged two of my55 inch televisions but will not take responsibility for replacing them. I have called emailed and sent text messages but I am not getting anywhere with replacing my items . I heard everything from let me talk to the owners and send me estimates but never a follow up when will they take blame for smashing my screens on my televisions . It has been since December 13 and I haven't gotten anywhere .I f you decide to move don't even think about calling them because you will totally be dissatisfied . Horrible service .I wouldn't even give them one star but I hit it by mistake .

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

Update: flex storage did reach out to fix the issue…read more We were quoted 950 for a 4 bedroom house, garage, and we listed in the contract all the heavy items. We were given 3 movers, and at the time my dad was in the hospital needing a triple bypass, so it was just me and my mom. They refused to talk to my mom, since my dad set up the move. They didn't bring tools, dolly, anything. They took everything apart, and stopped working a hour in because they didn't think they would finish. They spend 2 hours on the phone with the company, and the company quoted us a new quote. 2,500. And that they wouldn't be able to move us till Monday now. Again we still had to pay for the "4 hours" which was one out of labor. My mom told then no and to just bring what's in the truck (which was 1 king, 1 full, 2 twins the bedframes to all beds in pieces, our kitchen table in pieces, our dryer but not our washer, and my moms desk in pieces. And maybe 20 boxes). Oh let's not forget one of our movers was 76 and not moving anything. When they dropped our things off they didn't even put together anything! Again all while my dad is in the hospital for open heart surgery.
