The machines function well and the overall station is clean and well lit. The staff is usually friendly, if you must pay with cash, but if paying by card you don't really need them. The configuration of the entrances make entering a little awkward, especially if it's your first time. It is tucked away into a circular, often desolate, drive that leads to an intersection between St Nicholas Avenue and Manhattan Avenue. However, since it is in a corner, this should not be a huge issue. It is rarely full, in my experience, but the wait time is little to none during the late afternoon/early evening times. However, this may be due to the location. Overall, I am glad that this station is here for my, and the community's, use.

The prices vary, but you should find something for yourself whether it's a snack, a drink, or some miscellaneous item. They also have a deli inside and the sandwiches/breakfast rolls are always made very well. This is a great pit stop to get essentials you may need for your driving trip. This is family owned and both the owners and the other employees have always been friendly. There are two double sided pumps in front and an air pump along the rail. This is located across the street from that Empire City Casino and close to an on-ramp for the 87. Great spot for your gas and/or snack/drink/food needs.

Sensing I was having a crisis , the owner Pedro asked if he could help me. I found out immediately how decent and honest he was when he said he could fix it for only $30. He did it right away, and I added a huge tip! When Pedro fixed my car he noticed the brake pad was worn out. How lucky I was to find this out! Poor brakes could result in a catastrophe! I came back a week later, and Pedro replaced my rotors and brake pads. He charged me an extremely fair price for doing this work. It was evident to me how great a mechanic Pedro is, when I arrived and found many cars ahead of me. I highly recommend this place as they are truly excellent. I was in the middle of a trip from Pennsylvania to western Massachusetts when my 2012 CRV started…read morethunking hard. I thought I had a flat but none of my tire indicators were on, nor any of my engine lights. I pulled off the highway and parked on the side of the road in a residential area and started investigating, which for me means kicking the tires and checking the oil. I'd just had the brakes done, but I couldn't see anything loose. A neighbor walked up, asked if he could help, but the problem seemed bigger than either of us could fathom. That's when he recommended this service station. I pulled in at about 9 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and the place was hopping. The owner came out, listened to my story, and said he might or might not be able to get to it today because his guys were leaving at 1 PM. I didn't have a lot of options, driving to the service station made me very nervous because of the clunk and clatter, so I parked the car, called around, and started calculating the cost of having my car towed 160 miles to home. Joao, the owner, came out to check on me, and I told him I hadn't found any other service stations that could help. He said he'd squeeze me in. His mechanic drove it into the bay and figured out the problem in one minute. Loose tire. As in, one of the bolts was about to pop out and the rest were wriggling free. I shudder to think what would've happened if I had been on the Hutch when the driver side front tire decided to separate from the vehicle! All of us breathed a huge sigh of relief. The mechanic double checked my new back brakes, tightened all the Lugnuts, and then they sent me to the local bagel shop with a list of pastries and coffee for the team. This was the lucky, lucky day I got to buy everybody breakfast as compensation for the repairs. Otherwise, no charge. As a musician on the road, I've had my share of breakdowns and emergencies. All in all, I've been really lucky, and today was no exception. If you're in a pinch, I recommend Joao and his friendly, efficient team without reservation.

The trash cans overflowed and the grounds were littered with crap from other people's car washing and the state of their hoses was disgusting. Using them would most likely put dirt INTO your car. He did not want to put those dirty hoses in his car So we left. We drove around until we passed by Amoco and noticed the car wash area. When we arrived an Amoco employee was servicing the Car Wash. [Probably spot maintenance] We checked the hoses and they were in good condition. They are $1 and only take quarters. The vaccuum was quite strong and runs for about 3 minutes. The lot was clean and the trash cans weren't overflowing. I recommend his location for self service car washing I spent about 90 mins cleaning the interior of the car.
