I was skeptical because he didn't go very deep inside the attic when he first visited, but he saw enough to know what needed to be done; definitely comes from experience. His recommendations were so different from the other bidders, that I needed to do research and ask other experts in the field to confirm his recommendations. His recommendations were on point with the science of attic ventilation. The other bidders usually saw 1 of the 3 things he observed. I do not have to run the hvac equipment as often and the amount of dust in the air is a fraction of what it was (foam seals off air movement). We went with an unvented attack assembly in both buildings which allowed me to claim the attics as storage areas. Not only is the foam great, but ricks crew is 100% professional, clean, and fast. I selected West County Insulation to insulate the attic above my attached garage after receiving…read morequotes from them and three other companies in the area. All the quotes were in the same ballpark for the requested work, but Brandon at West County impressed me with his attention to detail and responsiveness during the quote process. West County was the only company that included air sealing (sealing up any gaps in the ceiling around lights, outlets, etc.) as part of the project, something none of the others called out, one of which flat out said they didn't do it). Their crew showed up exactly on time as scheduled. They reviewed the work to be done with me, and they promptly got to work. Afterwards they reviewed what was done and shared with me photos of the work that was done including the attic at the start, all the places that they air sealed, the baffles installed to prevent insulation from spilling into the eaves, the blown in fiberglass insulation, and the Draft Master assembly over the hatch. Ther weren't any issues with anything that was done. I can already see a difference in the temperature swings in my garage since the work was done. I only wish I had done the work earlier. I hired insulation matters to blow additional insulation into my attic. I was given a bid which…read morestated my current R value was R-19 and that it should be R-49. Initially after the completion of work it all looked ok except for the fact that the attic vents were missing that I was told would be installed. I called the owner Brett and he stated he would send out a team to install the vents. When the vents were installed a mess was made in my garage, which is where the attic access is, and it was not cleaned up. Also, the insulation that they had recently blown in was trampled down where they had walked to "install" the vents and nothing was done initially to correct it. It took another phone call to speak with, Brett, who stated he would come out to fix the issue and clean up. Brett was no where to be found just the same guys who were there the first two times. They blew more insulation in and cleaned up the garage. Everything looked decent from the attic opening. I didn't want to get any closer to check as I didn't want to trample what they had just blown in. Flash forward to Jan. 2020. I had to access the attic to install a new light in my kitchen. While I was up there I noticed that the vent above my kitchen was right up against the insulation and not run down to my soffit to properly vent. Seeing that, I decided to check the rest. They were all installed this way. This is a health and safety hazard. On top of that, the deeper I got into my attic the more shallow the insulation got. I contacted Brett to let him know with no return phone call. I would stay away from this company. They won't install what they say and will attempt to pull the wool over your eyes. It shouldn't take more than one visit to get it right and this has taken three and it's obviously still not right.

I needed the work done pretty much immediately to satisfy the buyer on the home I am selling with closing coming up in a week. Nick was up front and told me he wasn't sure if they would be able to get it finished in time. That is the only reason I didn't move forward with using them. I would not hesitate to call them in the future about future roofing needs.

I am really close to cancelling services. I have had a mouse for months and constantly cleaning up…read morethe mess, ruined food and so much more. I have expressed this over and over again yet Rottler can not seem to get it under control. I do not understand. I called today asking for them to come have my house cleaned at this point. I have explained there is still a mouse after all their attempts I do not understand. I had one technician transfer to another service area and never schedule a follow up so my home was not being serviced until I called asking what was going on. Another refused to go indoors but still wanted to say he serviced my home. So again had to call and the manager had to advise technician that they should come indoors when they are there to service. Just problem after problem. I am trying to be patient I am so frustrated. I am beyond frustrated. I am hoping they will come clean up and find a resolution. At this point I have no trust.
