Found this place by Yelping it. It was close to where I am staying. The other nail places nearby it was a powerage and this was the only one open and ready for business. The staff is small unless its not a busy day. The one of the staff members, seems to like to crack jokes and be friendly. The place is decent and reasonable in cost. It can use a make over. I'm from out of town and was on a tight timeframe but really wanted and pedi and a pink and white set. Kristi did a great job keeping on my timetable finding the best type of new set for what I was looking for with my nails. Kristi and her husband were charming and funny and knew most of the patrons on sight. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would go back if I'm ever in the area again. My only complaint is that my nails had a few crispy edges but that is not unusual for since I have wide, flat nails. read more

Horrible! There is so much wrong about this place. They need to declutter the salon. A colleague recommended this place so I thought I would give it a try. The nail technician Alex was very talkative almost annoyingly. I got a full set and he was veryyyyy slow at putting them on. Also was not the neatest when applying glue and acrylic as I had many patches of acrylic on my skin that he later attempted to pull off with his hand. He cut me with the electric buffer and I started bleeding. I actually asked him to not finish but just to polish my nails because I didn't want to run the risk of getting cut again and I was already there for an hour ( I was the only customer there). My nails look okay but I will definitely not be returning or recommending. Oh and pricing seems higher than other salons. read more

Was very happy with the service today. We walked in and was greeted right away with waters. Alex had us pick a color and even offered to give my daughter free design or glitter. Show in pictures she knows I didn't like green and litterally picked out the green flakes for me. Staff was very friendly, but the service I received was terrible. I went in to receive a fill in, I left with sore fingers and nails that looked as if they had been on for weeks. It is always tough to find a new nail salon when you are new to the area. I hit up Yelp to read the local reviews. The salon appeared clean and is pending a remodel next week. The technician was nice enough, but it seemed to take a LONG time for a new set - almost two hours. Not sure of the going rate for the area, but a new set of gel nails is $43 before tip. As far as quality of my nails - not too white and not too long - - just like I asked! I am not overly wowed by my nails or the salon, but I am not opposed to returning. read more

Decent shop close to Fort Lee; the demand seem to outweigh the supply (of workers, that is) very long wait for a simple service (hour and a half) money whizzed (customers) right out of the door due to the long wait and lack of employees to accommodate walk~in customers. I'm not sure if they rely on appointments but it is advertised they take walk~ins as well, seems like they would have extra staff on hand to take care of them. The shop is about average/typical, the employees were friendly and talkative, more than I'm used to seeing, they offer up cold bottled water which was refreshing on a hot saturday, there was an entertaining movie playing also, they seem to take time with the customer they're working with and don't rush just because others are waiting (hope the tips are worth the walk outs) willing to go back in for a mani/pedi and hope not to spend four hours + getting it done, if you have some time to spare and want to watch a great movie, check this place out. read more

I requested a pedicure and gel manicure yesterday (8-11-21). When the technician put the gel polish on my nails, she went outside the nail bed. In addition, they used some old white nail polish on my toes. The polish was not smooth on my toe nails, it as bumpy. The technician kept squinting her eyes as though she could not see. When I made it home, I asked my mother to take it off. I am going to get another salon to polish my toes. This has been the worst pedicure and manicure that I have ever had. Great location! Located just outside of Sisisky gate for all military personnel. Open to all walk-ins. Best nail and spa to visit if you're in the Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg area. The couple that runs the shop really take care of you and see to it that you leave out satisfied. The interaction between the husband and wife during my visit was hilarious. I could not say more positive things about USA Nails. I walked in there today with a week-old full set that was in shambles because I settled and went to Q Nails down the street. Three nails had already broken off and the rest were peeling off rapidly. The quality and the rushed process made me very nervous when I walked into USA Nails, but Alex and Chrissy made me feel right at home. Alex promised me I would love my nails 100% and I do! I went from always getting compliments on my skin to constantly being asked what is wrong with my skin. Constantly having to wear makeup in an attempt to disguise these dark large patches. Do not recommend this nail shop. Me and my friend came here and we sat for about 30 minutes this nail shop had 3 people waiting to get toes to be done. One technician was working on one ladies toes while me and my friend had our feet in the water for these last 30 minutes. Any technician was working in another ladies fill in. Even though they are short staff I think they should of told the customers we are short staff and the wait will be about 45 minutes. read more

Don't come here if you don't have enough time. I received a beautiful pedicure here and it surely was worth the extended time I spent soaking my feet. I received a treatment for calluses. My nail tech put some stuff on my feet and let it sit for 10 minutes while I relaxed in the massage chair, then he came over and used what looked like a cheese grader. This whole process tickled my feet. Then I put my feet back in the bath and took them out for a pumice rub scrub. Everything after the tickling, was very pleasurable. My feet and calves were massaged and toe nails shaped and smoothed to perfection. Although this was the longest pedicure I received, I really appreciated the time spent for the results I got.
