After seeing Arslanian Brothers' commercials for years, I finally decided to give them a call to learn more about their services. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan. I will absolutely use Arslanian Brothers again!

Oriental Rugs Without the Oriental…read more Okay, when it comes to rugs, I'm the bee's knees. And when it comes to bees, I don't mind them that much, but luckily, there weren't any bees in Hamed Oriental Rugs. Let me just say this about the decor: hated it! The building was absolutely crawling with carpet! I think that when it comes to decorating, rugs can be a good thing, but one at a time and not hundreds of them piled on top of each other. Someone must have thought, "I have all of these rugs, but nowhere to put them," so they were stacked on top of each other like someone went, "Ta Daa!" when they were finished. Being new to the area, I wanted to get a feel for the decorations of the locals and I must say, I don't like what I've seen so far. As for the customer service, I was incredibly disappointed to find that we would not be receiving fortune cookies after making a purchase. Also, the lack of a small 70-something Chinese woman who knows roughly a dozen phrases in English (8 of which involve rug vocabulary) took away from the Oriental vibe of the place. I'm a visual person, so it needs to look like I'm in the Orient to buy an Oriental piece. My husband Winslow was able to start an argument with the people at Dimitroff's by repeatedly yelling things like, "Dimitroff's sucks!" and "Hamed kicks your a** at rugs!" at their building until an employee responded to our challenge with, "We're calling the police if you don't stop!" -1 point from Dimitroff's for un-friendly staff Another reason I got rid of a point was because of it's danger to small children. Kid friendly? Not in the least, so I left my 4 year old twin boys Wickliffe and Tenderloin in the car with the windows cracked. Tenderloin loves trying to stick his nose out in order to breathe; it's cute, really. +1 point for close parking. All in all, Hamed's was an experience worth having one time, and I'm glad I did it. I'll wrap this up by saying that we left without paying and will not be back. When I walked into Truly Carpets I was a bit overwhelmed by all the carpet rolls, but when I told Dennis what I was looking for he told me about new stock coming in. It was the perfect color, texture & a great brand.... AND there was enough for both rooms. Yippee! I REALLY wish I'd had Truly Carpet install -ALL- my flooring. Unfortunately I mis-took 'Discount' as kind of shady, sub-par, or sub-contracted. Shame on me, I didn't bother to ask them if they subcontract their installs =( My loss. Hindsight, now wish I'd had them floor my entire home..... Truly installed a marvelous, high-end carpet remnants in my 2 bedrooms, but stupidly I went with Lowe's for the Pergo & the install. Ugh! Lowe's, what a HUGE nightmare!!!! I should have asked Truly to find me stock, because they had much better quality (12mm vs Lowe's 8mm Pergo stock). Truly installers arrived and did an amazing job. The biggest blessing is that the installers are part of the family, rather than subcontracted out as Lowe's does (nightmare!) The project manager was so knowledgeable, teaching me what I should have known BEFORE I'd gone shopping. My home flooring is gorgeous. When it's time to resurface my floors I'll be going back to Truly Carpet & Flooring.
