The legacy artificial turf that was already installed when we purchased our home got surface-of-the-sun hot in the summer time. We and our dogs couldn't step on it for more than a second in the daytime. After having enough, we were referred to Clay and USA TG by a friend. From the get-go Clay and Co. were extremely easy to interact with and responsive. He came out within a day or 2 to provide an estimate and explained all options and recommendations (thoroughly!). After paying our half-down deposit, we also requested a preferred timeframe in the week for install which they accommodated without any pushback. Today they completed the install in an impressively fast manner. Crew arrived at about 730AM and they were done before 10AM. I know there are a million turf installation companies you can choose from, but if you are a fan or organization, cleanliness and quality of work, your search should stop with USA Turf Guy. They only use turf made right here, in the good ole USA. The quality of the material cannot be compared to the other stuff that comes out of who knows where. We had approx 1200 sq feet installed and you can't even tell where the seams are! I give these guys an A+ and would encourage anyone looking to have turf installed go without them. read more

Clay hasn't answered anything and I'm feeling like this company has scammed me. No communication after taking a 50% deposit is unacceptable in this day. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere. USA Turf Guy just completed our yard last week and I can't tell you how much we love it. Met Clay at the Arizona Home Show as well as others, however Clay seemed to be the most knowledgeable and we liked his product the best and the fact that it was made in the USA. Once we finallized the contract, Clay told us that we could go to his rock supplier to pick out and tag the 4 boulders we wanted as well as look at the different travertine his supplier offered. Our install was delayed about two weeks because of the rain, however, once the weather cleared USA Turf Guy got it scheduled and completed. I have had my turf installed for a year. It was difficult getting on the schedule to install turf in my back yard but it eventually happened and looked great. My nosey next door neighbor even liked what we did and had the turf in their front yard done. So all was good until a year later when my sprinkler system came on and flooded my whole back yard. My contract with Turf Guy stated they were suppose to cap off all the sprinklers. Obviously they didn't and for several weeks I have been trying to get in touch with them and so far nobody has responded. A lot of the sand and material came up from the water and my turf doesn't look so good now. If you use these guys make sure they actually cap off your sprinklers and not just say they did. I'm willing to change my rating if they ever respond and make this right but so far nothing. read more

Unless you have an extraordinary amount of patience, and little care for communication and getting the job completed on any sort of timeline, I would find another company to complete your project. The summary of our experience with Clay and USA Turf guy is this: The communication from day one was poor, and the customer service was nearly non-existent as soon as we gave a 50% deposit (over 7k). The work completed was good, the quality is good and Clay's workers were nice guys who worked hard. They had to come back 2 times to finish/complete things that weren't quite right. This was done, with nearly no communication from Clay and his team, Nikki would say she would call me back to confirm when they would be there, and then crickets. And this was only after constant phone calls and emails asking when it would be done, because there was no communication volunteered by Clays team at any time. Lastly, and I think what illustrates things the most, I reached out to clay once the job was completed and I had paid in full. I offered to talk to him about the process and hear his side of why things went the way they did, prior to leaving any reviews or feedback but once again, I never heard back or received any sort of response. If you don't care about customer service and communication, the end result was good at an average price. read more
