I opened an online checking account. with them last month and was curious about the hold up with my card, and I was told the fraud department decided to deny my account without any explanation. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! USAlliance was once the IBM Credit Union and for many years was an excellent financial institution. About 7 years ago my accounts were scammed and hacked and USAlliance accused me of providing my PIN to the hackers and offered no assistance, no support to recover the money stolen from my checking and loan accounts. I withdrew all other accounts to another financial institution. I am not permitted to have online privileges and no access to the loan account still paying off. Recently called USAlliance to get information about the account, as it is close to being paid off and to change the address since moved 3 years ago and was treated disrespectfully by the Customer Service Representative. Still have no access to the account. Still do not have a statement. Still cannot get address changed. There is a dispute on my Credit Report for 5 years USAlliance ignores and won't clear up. This is Gestapo banking! Stay away! There are so many other financial institutions offering comparable or better rates providing superior customer services. BFCU/FourSquare is a joke. I had a flood in my house, insurance paid out, check was deposited for a large sum of money in my act. BFCU is now holding it in escrow making it really difficult to pay for materials and to pay the trades to make necessary repairs. They're delaying my project. read more

USAlliance Financial is one of the most unethical companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They refused to give me an itemized invoice of my payoff amount as requested. They said it is mostly 'internal stuff'... illegal? I waited for the itemized payoff, which I never received, yet they kept charging me late fees. So unethical! So shameful! Terrible institution! If you make a Mobil deposit over $5,000 they hold the funds for 10 business days for cashiers checks even if you have been a member for several years and have direct deposit! They claim to send a check which I never received, & I asked them to permit me to ACH my monthly interest. No such luck. The following month, despite agreeing to my going online to make the transfer....THEY CLAIM TO HAVE MAILED ANOTHER CHECK! It took an HOUR and change on many telephone calls, to get these persons to "get it right". One person had no idea what the next person was doing. I have been emailing and calling them since early December because of my Dad's passing. We get notifications of what he owes, but no statement. I have emailed his death certificate three times, and now I have to mail it physically. So what was the point of emailing it? I have sent the form saying I am his executor twice. Now when I call, I am told they want a copy of my driver's license. Something I was never told the multiple times I called before. Not paying them anything until I can see a statement saying what he owes and why. read more

Jenny rectified a concern I was having and then went on to fully explain all of the benefits and opportunities that her institution offers. Jenny was able to be professional, and still be personable. I have been a member of US Alliance Credit Union since 1971 and consider myself so very fortunate to be one. From the financial side to the customer service provided, this financial institution far exceeds expectations. When I'm not utilizing online or phone app., the local office I visit is in Port Chester, NY and the associates who work there are absolutely terrific. They each seem to be cut from the same cloth. First words that come to mind are; friendly, caring, personable, extremely knowledgeable, good listeners & communicators and very patient. Collectively, they present a welcoming atmosphere where you feel secure in letting someone into your financial world. Just yesterday I drove to their office to seek advice and direction on a variety of things. I was actually able to sit with the Assistant Branch Manager, Stephanie Vargas. She was wonderful. She listened and understood the goals I had in mind. Through our discussion she developed a plan which incorporated things I hadn't considered and by the end of our meeting all that I wanted to accomplish was done plus more. She worked with her associate at the banking desk to get the necessary documents prepared to the point where all that was left to do was to sign off on the transactions. Then as if that wasn't enough, Stephanie emailed me later that evening to let me know a debit card which we were re-assigning to a different account number was processed and the card could be used without issue. Who does that? Someone who cares about doing the best they can at their profession. I know in my case that someone was Stephanie Vargas. Thanks to her and her team for making my financial life less complicated and positioning my accounts to actually increase in value. Win Win. read more

I was a long time customer of this bank. They have made some mistakes on my account over the years but I powered through because I liked the bank. Recently they hit me with charges due to a mistake that I made and they would not consider helping me . Its always a good experience when I go to the Port Chester branch, but Gigi has been a great help by far. I had reservations about applying for a loan but she really worked with me and helped me feel confident in my chances. From last summer we spoke about credit and how to increase my score. She educated me about how credit works and the power it has. She was patient with me. I got the loan and it was a big help for a big special occasion. She's always so friendly when i come in. I had the most amazing experience of great customer service with Gigi at US Alliance. I came into the credit union at 4:30pm on the last day of the month and needed to get a certified check that day.  However, the funds I needed were at another credit union, and they were having difficulty approving the transfer of funds.  I was truly blessed this day to be working with Gigi.  5pm came, the front door was locked, and Gigi continued to help me try to find a solution.  Gigi spent another 30 minutes on hold, trying everything to get the other credit union to release the funds.  When all seemed hopeless and I was ready to give up, Gigi came up with the solution.  I have rarely worked with someone so friendly, positive and professional.  Thanks you so much! read more

I have been a member of USAlliance Financial for over 36 years. (They have gone through some name changes and consolidations over the years). I am extremely happy with them. I do ALL my banking with them. When they went into the mortgage business, I refinanced my mortgage with them. I know how complicated mortgages are, but they did a great job with it and everything was done online or over the phone. I love the website - it is very easy to use, and makes managing my accounts very easy. Anytime I have called the 800 number, or sent a message to the message desk, the staff has answered my question or resolved my issue promptly. I will remain a lifetime member.
