USO lounges are amazing but this one was a particular standout. There's so much military history positioned around the suite. It is located in a really easy to access spot right in the core Dulles baggage claim area before security in the entrance building. The staff were very pleasant and explained some of the features of the lounge. The furniture/seating and technology was very modern, clean, and usable. Food and drink were aplenty too - perhaps too much available! As a whole it was an extraordinary USO experience and a true delight amid the otherwise hectic busyness, even in other airport lounges at Dulles, versus the peacefulness and comfort of this location. Excellent!

Wonderful experience here! The place to go especially if you take red eye flights. The volunteers are helpful and welcoming. They have snacks, outlets for charging electronics, 2 screens with flight information, a nice size seating area, a television, fridge, and the best part..... A QUIET ROOM! There's big comfy chairs that lay out to beds! I was knocked out in there! They always tell you to make yourself at home, and they ACTUALLY mean it! Thank you!!!!!

As a Canadian military spouse, it's so nice to be welcome to the United States as they treat their military members and families so very well. I'm very grateful that the USO welcomes families that are traveling without their service member. Thank you! Each USO I have had the fortune to visit has been clean, full of amazing resources, offers great food, and is always run by such wonderful volunteers. This USO in particular is quite large, with super comfy chairs in the main TV room, space for a nap, lots of food options, and a large library/free-book selection.

I was stuck at IAD for 6hrs. There were about 10 staff in the USO and they turned me away because they were having a pizza party.

This is purely in regards to the recent international food festival event at Dulles Mall…read more We tried this vendor at a recent international food festival. While lines were long at most places, this spot had a shorter wait and someone nearby had a butter chicken wrap that looked promising. We ordered one wrap and their pani puri. The woman at the front was friendly and enthusiastic, which made us hopeful. The pani puri was served quickly, but unfortunately it lacked flavor--the sauce was bland, potatoes unseasoned, and the puri tasted stale. Still, we held out hope for the butter chicken wrap. That's when things went downhill. We waited nearly 30 minutes with a growing crowd of frustrated customers. We learned from others that the chicken in their wraps was ice cold. One woman had already complained and was waiting for a remake. Eventually, a new tray of chicken arrived, but the wraps were still coming out cold, with unmelted cheese and chilled chicken--clearly not "fresh" or properly heated. It was frustrating to see so much disorganization behind the scenes. If they were having technical or prep issues, it would've been better to pause service rather than serve food that wasn't safe or enjoyable to eat. It's a shame, because I've heard this business does meaningful work in the community with education and outreach. But the lack of preparation and poor food quality made for a very disappointing experience. We won't be returning, but I sincerely hope they take this as a learning opportunity and improve for future events.
