    Dirty, Jammed, Wobbly & Weak.

Our USPN group party was supposed to be another fun paintball outing with a bunch of excited teens. But that was the most unorganized, dirty, & unsafe paintball experience I've ever had. Confused employee teens wasted over 40 minutes of our valuable time just trying to get us started even though we arrived with all our paperwork filled out. The guns were a wobbly, bunch of inoperable pieced of garbage that all jammed constantly and gummed up with their broken paintball goo. The masks were dirty, horribly uncomfortable and could not fit an adult head. And the vests' velcro fasteners were all worn through, failing to provide the protection they were rented to provide. No one gave our group ANY safety or operational instruction as promised so our newbies had to take lessons from our children who had some recollection. We were just handed the equipment through a little hole & pointed toward a compressed air filling station where hoards of confused patrons were staring at each other waiting for someone who knew how to refill the tanks. The only employees, two young teen boys, were poorly trained and left to run a business poorly. We were here once before and although it is grimier & less organized than the other one in Hollister, it hadn't been this pathetic. It offered a Groupon but the grumpy guy on the phone twice complained that the Groupon was a rip-off & that I should have just bought everything there. Someone here has simply lost interest in maintaining all aspects this business, it was a very expensive disappointment.

Great field, had my ten year olds party over there and they had a blast... no pun intended. Pros: Reservations were easily made. Pay when you get there, no guessing or prepaying for players. Field is pretty big! Price is ok (paid $600 for 10 kids and 3 adults for gun rental, mask, 500 balls, and holster for ammo refills) Lunch area is shaded and spacious. Owner personally came out and instructions and demonstration on gun use and play. Cons: The owner is a little on the dry side, looked a little cranky. Granted, it was hot and I had ten 10 year old kids that were crazy, loud, and SUPER ACTIVE! Don't drop and lose the gun covers!! They easily slide off when running and in the moment don't realize they're gone. There's a charge for every lost item (7.50, I believe) even though the sleeves are probably laying somewhere in their field. Kids under 10 can NOT play without a chaperone always with them. We did make some comments to the owner about his attitude before we left. An hour later, he called and sincerely apologized. Other than that, it was a success with marks and bloody welts to prove it! Note: layer up if you don't have a vest ....those paintballs freakin' HURT!

This guy was cussing like a sailor and shooting at the safety signs out side of the play fields, around us and kids.

Mike personally joined us during the day and actually took part in teaching us a new game and being the "president" for an escort.

I've been playing paintball since the late 80s when I was a junior in high school and my teenage…read moresons started playing last year. We've been to most of the parks in the greater Bay Area and yesterday was our first time here. All the parks have been a great experience for us. They each have something we like, there's woodsball up north, nice variety in the central valley, we've had fun at all of them. So when I say that this was our favorite place, it means something. First off, great prices and superb staff to help you out. Geared towards the first time player but not limited in the least bit to new players. The fields are excellent, COD fans will have a familiar field to play on! The players we encountered were all good friendly people, both other teens/young adults and adults were friendly to my sons and I and it was a nice mix of teams. Lastly. The pro-shop and management team, the owner/operator and his managers are there to make sure you are enjoying your visit. I spent some time talking with them and they are committed to making your experience a long lasting memory. You want to build those core memories with your family and friends? They are the guys to help you do that. The Park is not limited to paintball, there's other activities available even for the really young ones. We'll be going back again soon!

The team delivered exceptional service, and the space offered plenty of acreage for kids/teenagers to have fun, paintball was definitely a hit. All attendees indicated they would gladly return. The option to DoorDash food or bring our own made planning even easier. Totally recommended for teenagers birthday parties or just any celebration.

We came on 4th of July weekend and it wasn't too busy which was nice, but they were still fully staffed and very attentive. We spread out and took over a couple tables...they have about 30 of them so there are plenty to go around, and they're all under shade. The Porta potties were clean with ability to wash hands which was definitely needed with the paint. There is also plenty of parking, and not too far off a main road.

Unfortunately, with the closure of Santa Clara Paintball, Sunol is the best closest option for those of us who reside in the South Bay. The Good: *Friendly staff & referees *The have more games than just team vs team deathmatch, like medic and capture the flag. *Port-o-potties available *Price is fairly reasonable for $66/per that gets you a gun, mask, and five hundred paintballs. *The kids seemed to have fun and that's all that's important The Meh: *Weekends only for walk-on play (weekdays are open for private events of 20+ people) *Reservations system is a bit convoluted, as you have to fill out an online form and then wait for them to send you a bill for a $10/per deposit to be paid via Paypal to secure your rental equipment. You don't *need* a reservation but you take the chance you might show up with no equipment available to rent. Also, the $10 comes out of your rental fee, unless you no-show in which case you have to was eat it. The Ugly: *Sunol is known for always being extra warm in the summer, so be sure to arrive early to beat the heat and bring more water than you think you'll need. Conclusion: Fun spot to pop a cap in the boiiizzzz!!!
