We chose this business for the following reasons 1. We have a fairly large amount of persons in our group. 2. Found a Groupon to stretch the dollar . We came as guests to my nephews 11th birthday celebration. Overall we had a great time even during the Excessive Heat Warning . We actually got the whole establishment to ourselves which was pretty neat ! Once we paid and signed our names on a paper receipt we lined up for our equipment . There was a brief tutorial on how to refill the air canisters . Afterwards we were told to make our way to the rented area for an orientation of Rules and Regulations. During the orientation we were told of potential hazards such as wasps or beehives - to alert the staff if any sightings occur. We didn't make too much of a fuss but my nephews dad - my cousin who put this entire putting together was stung in his finger and also lost his wedding band :( I'm not too certain if he spoke to the staff about the situation but pretty devastating ordeal. Overall we liked the experience and the times there were small issues with the paint ball guns jamming up . The friendly staff fixed the issue and kept the party going . Thank you for making our trip a memorable one . Pro tips : come with plenty of liquids to rehydrate during warmer weather seasons. Throwing a bday party? Seems like the most recent reviews for this place are from parties and the like so I can give a little different view as a self-equipped player. If you like playing pick up speedball, this seems to be the best field closest to the South Bay Area now that SCP (which was pretty soso tbh) is closed. A++++ field. Looking at their FB page, it seems like they change the layout a lot, which keeps things fresh. Bunkers are in great condition. Grass is clearly taken care of. The grass is beautiful and honestly it's been years since I've played on a real grass field and after years of turf in Socal and Vegas, it was weird sliding and not getting a rug burn. Fantastic players and staff. Cheap field paint/entry and two air stations that go up to 4000psi. A small viewing booth and plenty of parking. The players were nice, respectful, and welcoming to me as a person that hadn't been to this field before. There were people all ages there, so don't be dissuaded if you're older or younger. Honestly, there's not much else to want at a paintball field besides maybe better restrooms, but it's a paintball field on a farm. Just deal with the portajohns and enjoy the great things that come with such a purist airball experience like this because they're getting rarer. Note though, do check their facebook group to see when the airball field is open since they do close it to maintain the field or if the person running it isn't available. Recently bought by west coast adventures. Prices increased which isn't that bad but the refs are pretty lazy and make you take a 15 minute break that somehow lasts 20-25 every 3 games. Any shade prior has been removed so expect to roast in the sun. On top of that there are multiple wasp nests on the field that they dont even notify you about. I'm chill but I definitely smell a lawsuit. read more

Our USPN group party was supposed to be another fun paintball outing with a bunch of excited teens. But that was the most unorganized, dirty, & unsafe paintball experience I've ever had. Confused employee teens wasted over 40 minutes of our valuable time just trying to get us started even though we arrived with all our paperwork filled out. The guns were a wobbly, bunch of inoperable pieced of garbage that all jammed constantly and gummed up with their broken paintball goo. The masks were dirty, horribly uncomfortable and could not fit an adult head. And the vests' velcro fasteners were all worn through, failing to provide the protection they were rented to provide. No one gave our group ANY safety or operational instruction as promised so our newbies had to take lessons from our children who had some recollection. We were just handed the equipment through a little hole & pointed toward a compressed air filling station where hoards of confused patrons were staring at each other waiting for someone who knew how to refill the tanks. The only employees, two young teen boys, were poorly trained and left to run a business poorly. We were here once before and although it is grimier & less organized than the other one in Hollister, it hadn't been this pathetic. It offered a Groupon but the grumpy guy on the phone twice complained that the Groupon was a rip-off & that I should have just bought everything there. Someone here has simply lost interest in maintaining all aspects this business, it was a very expensive disappointment. read more

USPN Paintball Field - Dirty, Jammed, Wobbly & Weak. - Paintball Near Me - Hollister, California

Great field, had my ten year olds party over there and they had a blast... no pun intended. Pros: Reservations were easily made. Pay when you get there, no guessing or prepaying for players. Field is pretty big! Price is ok (paid $600 for 10 kids and 3 adults for gun rental, mask, 500 balls, and holster for ammo refills) Lunch area is shaded and spacious. Owner personally came out and instructions and demonstration on gun use and play. Cons: The owner is a little on the dry side, looked a little cranky. Granted, it was hot and I had ten 10 year old kids that were crazy, loud, and SUPER ACTIVE! Don't drop and lose the gun covers!! They easily slide off when running and in the moment don't realize they're gone. There's a charge for every lost item (7.50, I believe) even though the sleeves are probably laying somewhere in their field. Kids under 10 can NOT play without a chaperone always with them. We did make some comments to the owner about his attitude before we left. An hour later, he called and sincerely apologized. Other than that, it was a success with marks and bloody welts to prove it! Called this morning to see if they were open. They said, "yes." Drove from Salinas with a group of 7 friends. Arrived at US Paintball Nation at around 9am, got our gear ready, waited in line for about 25 min, and then one of the employees said they didn't have any air, their air compressor was not working. WTF? They could have told us that when we called, so we could have gone some where else. Resting area was dirty, muddy, and flooded!! Couldn't even sit to eat a snack! Very disappointed. Awesome paintball park. Worth the drive from San Jose. Two airball fields with two more coming, a spool filed, a castle field. Fun for any level of player. Scenario games as well. Way cheaper than local fields, and very friendly staff - a family business. You've got to try this paintball field out - it's the best. I'm a rook at Paintball, but the cost and the obstacles and the equipment was worth the drive and resulting pain of getting pelted numerous times by my oponent. I really enjoyed it, and they were nice and courteous to us and our group. Thanks Thomas for the reffing. Oh, and they allow you to have beers there, which was a nice touch during breaks. Went out 45min drive to check this place for the first time and its a shame how unfriendly/unprofessional they were. While i called to confirm they were opened they forgot to mention there was no air to rely on. Upon arrival they carelessly tell me then and there after paying. Me and my friends have been here many times for the past couple of years. We've had fair experiences in the past but today we received the worst service ever. First of all, not all the fields were set up and they still charged the regular price for entry. We go ahead and pay anyways and about 6 customers later they inform us that the compressed air isn't working and there's no guarantee that it'll be working today. How are we supposed to play Paintball without air?! Why didn't they tell us when we were paying? We all asked for a refund and went to Santa Clara Paintball were we should've went from the beginning. read more

This Establishment was very unprofessional, unregulated, and overall a waste of time and money. We came here three times and every time was an awful experience, we hoped that it'll better the next time but we were unfortunately wrong. The owner is very rude and shows favoritism towards strangers who have money. One personal experience we have had with him was when he has told one my friends (more like calling him out in front of everyone) telling him to put a barrel bag over his gun. He then followed him to the air refill station and accused him of not paying when in fact we already paid. As time goes by our ref has left our group and joined a party in which all the player's barrel covers were off and they were actually shooting outside of the field. There's signs written basically everywhere saying to have covers on the guns. the ref was even shooting with them. This ref we speak of thought it was funny to scare our friend (the same one accused of not paying) and shot at him with an empty gun but still filled with air at his private parts at point blank range. The staff there are honestly immature, disrespectful and just plain rude like the owner. The fees there are honestly burglary. They have a five dollar outside paintball fee (which does make sense) but they don't even check your paint. I am self equipped but I still have to spend up to 80 dollars!! This is my last time coming and now I'll going and spending my money on the way better fields. We payed over 3000.00( 25 people) to play, and it really suck. We didn't get a referee with any of arr games.

The courses are not kept up well, constantly had spikes or weeds getting into my shoes and socks. The owner has a horrible attitude and prices up all his items which are overused and outdated. The will price up the paint if you don't buy them when you check in so beware. It's a fun sport to do but this is not the place to play this sport. I'd highly recommend driving a little further to get to some better fields in San Jose, Santa Clara, ect. The referees also will be sitting on their phones while a game is going on and listening to music. Safely is the least of their concerns, they just want your money! read more

Fun but disappointing. The courses are not upkept and visibly outdated. We rented guns and they did not provide us with paintballs or air we had to pay an extra $27 for air and rounds. The ability to make weekday reservations is the only benefit of USPN over TAG in Hollister. After going to both TAG is visibly better and will be where I go from now on. read more

Took my son here today for his 14th birthday with some friends and we had a fabulous time! Mike personally joined us during the day and actually took part in teaching us a new game and being the "president" for an escort. He didn't survive the second time. This Paintball field needs to have way better customer service. They won't let me bring my own paint even though on the website it says explicitly that I can, by paying a 5$ inspection fee. I believe the owner should work on his attitude and be nicer to his customers. I would recommend other paintball places in the area like TAG over this place. read more

My group of friends and I have been going for quite a long time. It is a pricy sport but well worth the enjoyment. The staff is friendly and care about your safety before anything else. It's a big field with many courses to choose from and there are many places to sit at. Also there is a place to bbq. I recommend it for any level of player. read more
