I've been a loyal customer and recently purchased a threaded barrel for my Glock 18C. After hours of testing and troubleshooting, I confirmed the barrel is misaligned -- BBs curve 3-10 inches off target only when a tracer is attached. I used the G&G UVT106 tracer unit, which works perfectly on my Glock 19X using a different threaded barrel also purchased from this store. Despite explaining everything clearly in my message -- including the fact that the tracer unit is proven to work flawlessly on a previous purchase from them -- they responded by blaming the tracer and ignoring the testing I did. Their support team clearly didn't read my explanation. Instead of acknowledging that this barrel is likely off-spec, they pushed the blame back on me and the tracer. I was hoping for a professional response, but all I got was deflection. Extremely disappointing, especially after spending so much time isolating the problem. I went there to get my replica spring replaced. Was very quick and brought it to 330-350 FPS. Told him that it was exactly where I would want it and he didn't charge me 45 dollars, which is the normal price you get for 1 hour of servicing and repair. He charged me 10. Think he was feeling nice that day. Also got some mid cap mags. He even let us test to see if it'll be compatible with the replica I have. Parking situation is based off of luck. This place has pretty good amount of stocked items and guns. When I first walked in, I felt like a kid at the candy store wanting everything. Just wanted some ammo and had a quick question but when I asked the guy (what seems to me the manager/owner) he said he'd come back to me since he was helping a family, sure no biggie I'll wait. When he was finished A whole 30mins later, I was up at the counter where all the guns are up, no help at all. No one even approached me asking me if I had a question or anything. Don't support a business with bad attitude towards customers They say face masks required but the old Asian guy at the store was running around maskless while assisting customers with no respect to 6 feet social distancing. Most of the customers are kids and teenagers between ages 10-21 they couldn't care less so nobody cared. I bought a spring to upgrade my airsoft gun. I asked this same guy to test the upgrade on their chrono. I accidentally pointed the front of my gun toward his way while following him to the shooting area a few feet away and he yelled at me for being unsafe. I get it I screwed up and I apologized to him. But he proceeded to yell at me about gun safety rules and embarrass me in front of the other customers. I'm a grown man you can tell me in a civilized manner without raising your voice. But he decided to treat me like a kid because he can't tell if I am one with my mask on. He proceeded to lecture me on safety while he was not wearing a mask. Don't know which one of us is more dangerous. After installing the spring I had a problem with the gun was told by the same guy "there is something wrong with your gun" and left. No suggestions on how to fix it, maybe there is something wrong with the spring I purchased, maybe it was not installed properly? no help I was left in the cold. I wanted to buy a new one since they have the same gun in stock. But then I kept thinking why should I spend $500 to support this business with the way I was treated. Definitely not coming back. Allow me to explain: The employees: they are chill and laid back but the communication between them and the owner is terrible. Went here today buying a gun. My experience was a mixed bag. I think my expectations was might've been a bit high, but see below to make your own judgment call. The person helping me was very friendly and helped the best they could. They were also honest around what they knew more about and less about, which I really appreciated. The problem was that I wanted a type of rifle, m4, that they had little knowledge of, so I was more or less on my own. Another employee tried to help a little, but that person seemed to have been disconnected in how the internals changed with rifles. For instance they said they were not carrying rifles with quick spring change, but in fact they had many. The one I got for instance. In that case I much prefer the approach of the first person helping me. Luckily I'd done my research on beforehand and I'm happy with what I bought. They did help me with things around the rifle which was nice. I like the selection the store has, so I wouldn't mind coming back, but I wouldn't go there to get help choosing a rifle, instead I think youtube might be a better place. That was my experience! Brought a gun to be looked at for warranty work on a Saturday morning. Tech staff was great and immediately tore into it replacing several parts in an hour. Store is extremely well stocked with a great selection of aftermarket parts. Only negative is the owner who needs some lessons on personal interaction and being a nice boss. read more

I've been coming to AEX for about a year now, only because I have to, there is no other Airsoft stores in the area for miles and miles , which is unfortunate. Since I've been coming here, from the beginning, as I walked through those doors, staff was quiet and rather cold. I basically received an awkward reception and not one staff member made any effort to acknowledge me. I had the exact same experience as other customers such as Michael F. from Sunnyvale. I too asked to see a few guns, in which it kind of felt like pulling teeth, as if they were doing me a favor showing me their guns. Some of the staff were cool, one in particular is 100% awesome, Jeremy. This guy knows his stuff. He's on it. His customer service is spot on as well, willing to help you and go the extra mile. Jeremy is the only reason I return to this spot. There's other staff their that are just down right rude, including surprising to me, the owner, Peter. This guy threw a hussy fit at me when I un-intentionally told him I purchased a gun from Evike and wanted to see their version of the gun in their display case, He told me "we frown on you buying from others" and turned around and told me to leave the gun I was looking at on the counter when I was done. After his rather loud comment to me so others in the store could hear, It felt so awkward and embarrassed for one; and two; for him as a business owner. At that point, I wanted to click my feet and be out of there, it was so strange to see such unprofessional behavior. Right after his hussy fit, ..... I heard crickets in the store, I grabbed some green gas and shot out of there as fast as I could. Now I just go there to buy green gas, or an occasional magazine, and bounce out. Would I suggest you going there to do CQB? No. Would I suggest for you to go buy from this store, maybe if its the only store in the area, for which it is for me. I mostly buy from Evike for all my guns and big expensive stuff, Evike's return policy is second to none! I wish I have better news for AEX, and my shopping experience. Unfortunately I don't. Airsoft is new to me. My co worker who got me into it and I will go to Antioch and join an Airsoft event so needless to say I need a gun. I own a few real guns and an avid shooter myself. I want to find out more about Airsoft and the different kind of guns and equipments they have so I checked out this store. I was greeted by a friendly face, his name is Peter and he preceded to entertain my inquiry. I had a few questions and pretty much all his answers were in a way arrogant and condescending. I noticed the first gun I looked at is around $400. Upon asking for a less expensive one his tone changed. Pointed to a direction as if Im being shown to the used car lot. There were a few customers heard it as well and they all looked at him. I also asked if they accept trade ins coming from a real gun back ground and he didn't like that as well. There was a pause and an answer "we don't re-sell used crap! " Wow! I was nice didn't say anything so I went to the used car lot. From then all his words are just sarcasm and semi insulting. I didn't take his advice went with my instinct and purchased an inexpensive one. Still $300 for pretty much a toy gun, its not peanuts. After checking out at the register I shook his hand and he immediately soaked it with antibacterial. I understand theres still Covid but that has a different meaning. If I didn't have the event in Antioch I would've walked out earlier. Its a good store but poor help. If you're new and want to check the store out, make sure you ask for a different person other than Peter. I will still maybe go there because they're the only one around but to buy new guns I will order from Amazon. No bs there no insulting employees, no remorse. Sad to say but its just a matter of time when Amazon fully take over. The lack of customer understanding and service will be the main cause. I made a review on google like a couple days prior to the current review that I'm writing now. I'll attach photos. But basically I got upset that I couldn't return my airsoft rifle without it's Allen wrenches and their return policy says that I cannot return them without them. I am clearly in the wrong in that department, my issue is that they didn't offer any ways of fixing the problem, like paying for missing parts or etc. I ended up finding the Allen keys and went back for a refund. Mind you no parts are missing what so ever nor was the product damaged in anyway, but they outright refused to look at or inspect the rifle, and instead belittled me and argued me down to the point where they made it seem like my opinion is what was stopping me from receiving my refund and kept going on and on about how I can't take back what I said online about how I "felt" about their services, Airsoft Extreme does not allow customers to have opinions and won't accept refunds because how they feel about you not based on their return policy. read more
