I have tried calling and have been on the phone for hours just to be hung up on when I reach an actual human. I have not received my important mail for over 2 weeks and have gone down to find out why and was told they would have my carrier call which( never happened). I have also had many many packages that the companies showed were delivered but I never received and when asked, told nothing. I found out that a lady that worked there was arrested for stealing packages yet they never told the public, not did I ever receive any of my lost packages back( 2 worth over $200 each , ince company proved it was delivered, I never received my money) Is there someone higher up to contact? This post office is always easy to get to and extremely organized. It has an open atmosphere with plenty of parking. They have a drive through to drop off your letters into the mailbox which is a great convenience. read more

I was surprised to see any negative reviews about this facility. This is my third year using this facility to mail all my northbound Christmas gifts to family. While it is always very busy at this time of year, all employees have always been courteous and efficient; and they have adjusted service stations staffing to accommodate the crowd. I was very hesitant to visit this post office due to all the negative reviews, however, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised! Parking is plentiful and when I arrived to mail packages to Canada, I walked right in and right up to the counter (11:00 am - noon). The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I went there which is a 7 mile ride , then waited 1/2 hour die to Christmas crowd. I was mailing a book , the envelop flap opened with the moisture , but the clerk said she couldn't take it unless it was taped , I asked her for a piece of tape. She said no, and that I could buy a toll of packing tape for $7. Instead of offering me a small piece of tape which has been done for me many times in the past. Not in Lady Lake, they don't care if you drive 14 miles , waited 1/2 hour , instead of offering a small piece of tape, she sent me away, and now I have to drive another 14 miles, Waite again 1/2 hour because this unhelpful cheap post office wouldn't offer me a penny piece of tape.
