I don't like going to the post office that's near my home because they moved to a location where there's barely any street parking and you usually need to park in a public parking garage. So I searched Yelp and found this location about 3 miles from my workplace. It's easy to access because it's right off Landover Road with his own parking lot. It's old and there's no lobby. You just walk in and wait in line for a postmaster to help you. It's a little bit offputting that there's a Plexiglass barrier between you and the workers. I did not have to wait. The postal worker was very cordial and helped me find the best way to mail my package to my nephew in Michigan. I'll be back in December to buy my Christmas stamps. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. The white lady clerk is ALWAYS a problem. Today she actually got on her phone while serving a customer complaining to her supervisor. Completely ignored the customer in front her when he was trying to speak to her. Then got an attitude with me when I asked her a question about my package label. She should've been fired a long time ago but I guess she's one of a few that will come to work. She's AWFUL. read more

They always deliver to the wrong address. Always come up with random excuses as to why they can't deliver packages. They've used the excuse of our dogs being on the loose when we don't even own dogs. They've used the excuse of "addressee unknown" when they didn't even try to deliver the package. Horrible customer service and overall lazy people. read more

I went to mail a very important item today. It was one day overdue. I just wanted her to stamp the date on it for me. She actually replied, "Just get it done yourself and give it to me." This service amazed me. I suggest you go to another post office. read more

I ordered an item on December 27, 2020. It is now January 8, 2021. According to the package tracker, it's supposed to arrive by January 6th. I don't know what this post office is doing but they need to stop being so damn lazy and give me my package!!! From what I also read on Yelp, the workers here are ghetto, rude, lazy and incompetent. ***UPDATE*** For the first time in 6months my mail was properly handled and management acknowledged being aware of and rectifying the problem. Hopefully this office will shape up. ***Original Post*** The postal workers and supervisor at this location are among the laziest, most unprofessional, trifling federal employee I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Monique the PO Box supervisor is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Andrea appears to try but not all that hard and the Supervisor Ms. Malloy is a joke. Unfortunate for me I must do business with this PO as a business relationship I am in has a PO Box here; and apparently my deliveries from Amazon are routed here. Clearly the think they are above reproach. However, bad habits are the easiest to trace when they are documented over the course of 6 months. I'm not sure why they continually choose to delay my mail, especially the ones that are tracked (almost all) when according to US Code a postal service officer or employee who delays mail in his possession Wilber fined or imprisoned up to 5yrs or both. Working in the post office is a simple job. And these ladies, based on my interaction with them at the location and their consistent mishandling of my and other citizens mail, must believe they are above reproach. Well they are not. Anyone else who has had this or a similar issue with them message me and I will add your complaint on with my that consumer affairs is presently reviewing. Yelp is a good way to warn fellow consumers about poor experiences but for results that will facilitate change and/or improvements in services you MUST notify the proper authorities via the proper channels. I keep getting tracking messages that says it will be delivered that day, but it never comes. Last message I got was yesterday saying it was in transit and arriving late YESTERDAY. Worst place ever. It took just 4 days for my package to arrive from Indiana to MD and it has been sitting at USPS Facility HYATTSVILLE, MD 20785 for SEVEN FN DAYS and still not moved anywhere!!! This postal location should be shut down. My package has been setting here since 12/14/2020. It is now 1/8/2021. Where is my package? Probable setting in one there homes. Good paying jobs and no respect for it. It's always the same . They want more money and want to do less. Postal service should be privatized. This location is next to a convenience store that's next to apartments where some people would shy away from. However, I have been going to this post office on and off for 13+ years and I've yet to have anything "bad" happen to me!!! The 2 ladies that work here seem to live here! And sometimes they can treat the customer as such, meaning they have seem to become complacent within there positions and it shows in there attitudes. They aren't rude but they aren't super nice either. If you need to know how to do something they will tell you and it sounds like they are quoting it verbatim from the handbook LOL and they will ask you to step aside and get it together so they can help the next person. They are not super fast but they get the job done. It's a post office so I am not looking for super clean but I am looking for organization. They seem to be organized and keep all of the supplies stocked and they have Post Office Boxes available for rent. At the end of the day - if you are looking for a post office to get a money order, mail something, pick up stamps, etc. I don't see anything wrong with coming here - Just don't expect "Super De Super Happy" service you may get elsewhere. read more

Very unprofessional post office. Fails to deliver packages. While you think your package is being delivered, when you track down to details, your package in fact has been loaded or touched for that matter. It just sits in their office for days. And often they reroute to some obscure location. You either have to chaise your stuff or loose it. Had several issues with deliveries here. Unreliable and sometimes pure idiotism. read more

I run a small business where every month I ship out a bunch of stuff. Being too busy/too unsure about trying to print postage labels at home, I always brought my piles and piles of packages here. The workers would certainly have every reason to hate me for it, but were always kind and often offered advice about how I could be saving on postage. Eventually I figured out how to print labels at home but I appreciate that I could take my shipments there if I needed to. read more

This is the poorest example of postal service I've ever encountered! Packages have been lost and never recovered in their facility. Although I have requested redelivery of held mail, they don't do it. I've had to pick it up myself. They recently left a slip for a package at more door. I went online to request redelivery, and they didn't do so. It's medication, for heaven's sake! I can't track the package because the writing on the slip is illegible. During my visit several months ago, staff was laughing and joking amongst themselves, inappropriately, while there were customers in line. I had decided not to use this location again but, this is the location my vendor selected to ship my package to. I tried calling multiple times to arrange to pick up my package, but no one answered; instead system kept saying 'Please enter your remote access code' and hanging up. I understand there is a pandemic going on, but if you are still offering services, then your customers are expecting services. read more
