They stole my live animal delivery from new hampshire and killed them by leaving them in the heat (box said not to leave in heat) and were called repeatedly by my local post office, customer care, the person they delivered the dead animals to, as well as me and after 2 weeks decided to start blocking calls from all parties. I don't know why this location gets such a bad rap. The employees are so courteous and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and move quickly so we don't have to wait. Yes, like others I've called and the line would be busy. Yes, that's annoying but the fact of the matter is when I was able to get through the staff always went over and beyond to meet my needs. It's obvious they care about the customers, which seems to be a thing of the past with bigger corporations. I prefer this location to Brandon any day. Keep up the good work xoxo read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never before have I had issues with the US post service where I don't trust that someone is stealing or discarding my mail but this location is doing one or the other. New construction, closed on home in October, had to make a scene in PO to get a key to mailbox that I was promised every two weeks, received 1/2/19 but since that time, I haven't received one letter, bill or card or even junk mail. Packages that are supposed to be delivered by Amazon that wouldn't fit in mailbox are not being delivered, tracking indicates that "delivery attempted, did not want to leave package must be picked up". No delivery was attempted as I have "Ring" doorbell and work from home literally 2 feet from the front door. The post office is 11 miles from my home and going there to pick up packages is not something I can do frequently, its not my responsibility, it's the responsibility of US Post office to DELIVER packages and not hold them or require me to pick them up. You get paid for that, I do not. I work from home and have had to use up my lunch hour going to and from the post office for the last two months. II have a running list of mail I haven't received: Zero Christmas cards, last year I received 22. Haven't received one bill, or any of the five house warming gift cards sent by my family members back in November. I even sent myself an envelope with an old expired gift card in it to see if it would be delivered. Sent on 12/24 and as of 1/8 I have not received (sent to and from Riverview). If there was a way to report them to the Post Master General I would. There's something corrupt going on there and they are poorly managed. If you need more mail carriers to handle all the new construction, post positions, not my problem that you don't have enough carriers, with all the additional tax revenue created by the new homes, you should be able to add carriers. read more

My family recently moved from Riverview (only across town, thankfully) and before we left, I filled out a "forward" request online. I received several email confirmations and the new address welcome package both at the old and new addresses. Imagine my surprise when I got a delivery confirmation for something that was on back order and it showed it had been dropped off on the front porch of my OLD address!! My husband drove the hour from work to the old house one afternoon and found 2 packages along with a mail box FULL of mail. At a vacant house. I know 3rd class mail doesn't forward, but my bill that was delivered sure should have, along with the packages! To make it worse, we'd already received numerous forwarded items, so it's not as though the system dropped the forward notice or there was a glitch or something preventing it from going through. It makes me wonder and worry about the things I'm not going to receive as a result of their lack of attention to detail. We're a military family--this isn't the first time we've moved in the last 10 years, but it IS the first time we've had issues not getting mail forwarded to our new home. I also tried to call for an entire day (more than a dozen calls) and they all were met with a busy signal. When I called the 877 number, I got caught in the never-ending automated system and was told they would call me back in 27-40 minutes. We'll see if that ever happens, but I'm not holding my breath. read more

I've tried calling this location numerous times today to no avail as the line is constantly busy. Is it off the hook? SERIOUSLY???? I sent a pkg to my daughter and got a text notification that it was to arrive today. I received an email that stated that there was a delivery attempt today at 11:58 am. No knock, doorbell nor notice was left at the residence and NO attempt was made to deliver as my daughter worked from home and was there ALL day as she was expecting the pkg. So NO attempt was made. The next text and email I received was a notification that the pkg was being held per the customer request. I AM the customer and I did NOT request that the pkg be held. I called the USPS 800 number and filed a claim and scheduled a redelivery date for tomorrow, 12/15. I have not received a call back yet regarding the claim. I have now received a 3rd email and text this evening stating that my pkg had been RETURNED TO SENDER at 6:27 pm this evening because it could not be delivered as addressed. So let me get this straight, USPS attempted delivery TODAY to no avail. How is that possible then if the address is not valid?? Secondly, no one contacted ME regarding a request to hold MY PKG at the post office. So BOTH of these official USPS notifications regarding the status and tracking of my pkg are made up falsehoods. I CALLED this afternoon and spoke to a representative via the 800 number about the status of my pkg and my desire to have it redelivered. I VERIFIED the mailing address for the pkg, was given a REDELIVERY Number AND confirmation for tomorrow and given a Case Number. So why am I receiving notification TONITE THAT MY PKG IS BEING RETURNED TO SENDER?? My Redelivery # is NJR81458192 and I expect someone there to resolve this immediately. This is simply unacceptable from the USPS. read more

This post office and the one in Merrillville, IN have to be the two worst post offices in the US. I don't know how many times mail has been lost or put in someone else's mailbox by accident. Now they are losing packages sent in the mail. I wish post offices did not exist because they are a huge waste of money and very inefficient to boot. read more

I walked in with 2 minutes to spare and the guy was a dooshbag stating they were closed! I had a small tiny package and cash in my hand. I work 9-5 and got off 15 min early to be able to send my package but didn't happen bc the workers are lazy assholes! Then he tells me I could use self service but oh wait it's down right now. I am not sure if I have ever had a worse Postal Service situation ever...not even during the holidays...IN LOS ANGELES. this Post Office is run by women who have no respect for themselves or the fellow people who come in to simply ship packages and letters. its not rocket science, people, its a post office. It should be easy breezy, and no drama involved right?? thats what I thought, but I was wrong. I went inside and did the self check out with my envelope/package. I paid and proceeded to the check out counter to write on the package sticker. I asked if I could borrow a pen and and women glared at me and said yea. Then, a different woman, dark skinned, heavier set, curly dark hair YELLED to me " UM, MA'M THAT IS A PARCEL NOT AN ENVELOPE, YOURE GOING TO NEED TO GO RE DO THAT". i seemed confused at her sudden attitude and asked for assistance and they all looked at me like I was insane. The attitude that she gave me was nasty, unpleasant, and disrespectful. Then I learned that they had been closed for 20 minutes, which I was unaware of. Maybe if they don't want people coming in when its closed, then they should lock the doors??? That woman was very ignorant and rude. that is all =) hope she somehow works out whatever angers and stresses are making her lash out on young women who come in trying to send out simple packages. go do some Yoga lady. you need it. read more

Worst ever in terms of mail delivery. Our house numbers are clearly visible on the front of every home and the same number hangs clearly right below the mailbox at the street. Today I received all mail for my neighbor and he received all mail in his box for the people 2 doors down. God only knows where my mail might have ended up. I am having major delivery issues not only for myself but many residents within my community. This post office miss delivered a package on 27 December 2018 and I received another persons mail. I called and put in a case number, search request numbers, and then a claim number. They told me, there was nothing they could do. So a sent a certified letter with all the documentation and phone calls to the Postmaster General, the local post office and the claims department for the USPS. Will see what happens. This has been happening for months and they do nothing about it. You cant call them, because you wait on the phone for over and hour and 15 minutes. It is pointless to speak to anyone, and they don't even return an email, or call. They are pathetic. read more

They deliver the mail to our mail boxes..Then we check our mail.Then we redeliver to the correct addresses.Sometimes the carrier will come back down the street and remove the mail and redeliver it themselves as many as 3 times.Complaints are not corrected. read more

I'm extremely disappointed. I had a passport appointment for today and after I arrived, they told me it was canceled. They didn't even have the courtesy to call or email me and let me know. That is so unprofessional. I even received an email the day after conforming my appointment. It just makes no sense what they were telling me, oh, we don't do passport any more. I told her, I have a confirmation letter and a text massage confirming my appointment for today at this post office. I just wasted my morning and work because of this. The person who told me couldn't even tell me what to do or were to go. I will give this a zero if I could. I will never come here again. read more

they do not answer the phone constantly getting a busy signal. want to complain about the the postal carriers, they have broken my mailbox by stuffing boxes and packages in it I have left a note taped inside that this box is for mail only. We are renting our home and am not very happy to think that your carriers are so lazy they cannot deliver packages to my door, they are responsible for fixing the mailbox. read more

I have mailed two packages from this location to the same person in CT in Sep and most recent was Dec 1st. All of the other packages with this same transaction made it to destinations in various states but never to this address. I stopped in to ask them about it to see if they could help me track and the lady was extremely rude and difficult to deal with. I no longer had the tracking number because the other 3 boxes got to the correct destinations so I just assumed this one would as well. That's a fault on my part but when asking for some help I should not be cut off in mid sentenance by a worker. She could have at least told me to go online and submit a missing package report but I had to figure that out on my own. I understand they are busy, especially this time of year but rudeness shouldn't happen ever. I live and learn but will never come back to this location to mail another package. I'm just highly suspicious as to what could be happening because now 2 packages are now missing for this individual for no reason. The one in Sept was a b.day card with a gift card in it so there's no way to track it since it was mailed with a regular first class stamp. When I ordered her Sherri's Berry's to make up for the lost card it got there just fine as did my Christmas card and they were all addressed to the same person and same address. Phone line is always busy- impossible to call. They didn't deliver my mail for a month because I didn't get mail for more than 4 days (I travel constantly for work) and they said my house was vacant. Hard to be vacant when I live there! So all mail was returned to sender, USPS told me that everything was fine on their end and mail service would be reestablished, yet 3 weeks later still no mail. They actually put rubber bands around my mailbox, I took them off twice, and they put them back on again! Talk about ineffective service. I was finally told my mail would be reestablished today....we'll see. read more

Cant ever get anyone to ans the phone, they must take if off and set down, all I ever get is a busy signal

I've had nothing but problems with this location. I was expecting a package and used tracking to determine when it would arrive. The delivery person had marked it as shipped and had been out for delivery. I'm trying to find where my package was left but it was nowhere to be found. Hours later, I check the tracking again and suddenly it says my package is in YBOR CITY. WHY?! Then I had to wait on hold for an hour and a half just to talk to someone that couldn't do anything but "open a case" because she saw the exact same info as I did. I have tried to call the local offices, the only one that answered was Ybor and they informed me that if the delivery person decided to turn around and end the day without actually delivering all of his/her packages, that they would be terminated THAT day... so I'm still without my package, no one knows where it is or why... and I've received no help and will have to wait on something that I paid the USPS to send to me. Unbelievable. Someone at the riverview USPS will be losing their job... I guarantee it. read more
