Awesome customer service and one of the employees made the visit to the location super pleasant by speaking to people as they walked in and greeting them friendly at the counter and telling people after transaction to have a nice day. It was an African American guy. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was due to the lack of holiday decor and the cases that usually have different types of stamps to purchase were empty. My neighbor had her bathroom flood so the plumbers truck is outside her house - I just watched as the mailman a short angry fella honked 20 times and than tried to give her mail to the plumber who was confused so the mailman just drove off. She called the post office at 4:15 to inquire about her mail and got a recording that they were closed? But hours say they're open until 5pm. 1. get out of your vehicle and deliver the mail 2. don't try to give away other people's mail 3. someone so angry should not work in a moving vehicle 4. why is your phone off 45 minutes before you close? 5. It is really hard to believe this much can go wrong with the PO - but here we are. First mailed a envelope/payment mid December 2025 - took inside the PO and handed it to the clerk and sent certified - like they say to do so mail won't get lost. Only going across a couple of states - no delivery by the first full week of January 2026. After a couple of times going to the PO about it and on phone with customer svc a few times - with them continuing to tell me it will be delivered. After about a 6 weeks it was still no where to be found - so at the last minute had to make other methods of payment on line to avoid hefty late fees. Next - ordered a package on line - that package is now lost - not going to be delivered. Was shown accepted by local PO - but they said they never received it. Think is was UPS to PO. So had to reorder that. Already worried about that delivery......Next - was supposed to have two packages delivered 01/30/26 - that didn't happen - this morning they were "out for delivery" - then today at 2:12pm - got notice it's a "weather problem" and not going to be delivered. . Meantime - I'm out driving around town running errands with NO PROBLEM what so ever it is sunny and beautiful out! Roads are clear now - people are out everywhere - so not sure if or when those will arrive. I can see having a problem ever so often - but good grief - this is terrible. I do want to say - the people that work at the front desk of my post office are very nice. But that doesn't get my items delivered. As I was finishing this review - got two emails that said they "attempted to deliver and just missed me " - with 'sorry we missed you. That is BS - they did not come to my home - I have cameras and they did not put in my community mailbox but they did leave paper mail in there today - but just couldn't manage to leave packages. YOu can NOT do that! Or that?! M'am, you do not have the authority to do that either! If you are ok with bringing your item for the world to see what you are shipping, where you MUST buy their box (never had a problem like this at another location before), you can not use your own tape (Even weirder, because mine is clear packing tape), and you can not correct the UPS guy on the size of the box. "YOU can not touch my measuring tape, M'AM!" So, I drove 1/2 a mile around the corner, stuck my crap in a beer box, taped that box shut and mailed it for cheaper at the post office. This is the 3rd time a certified mail envelope was NOT delivered to my door, to get my signature. The first two where actually left in my box with out a signature signed for it. The 3rd one was actually brought to my door and I explained the situation to a man who was upset and said he will talk to the other drivers. This is the 4th certified mail, and again they never came to my door, but left the pink slip shown in the picture. I work from home, here all day, my 3 cameras show you never came down the driveway! The counter workers are very professional and courteous. But, like the majority of people who work, I am forced to use the after hours Kiosk. They NEVER stock the express envelopes or boxes and the kiosk seems like it is broken more than working. Seeing as how this is a government operation I don't know if I should be suprised or not. FedEx and UPS ends up getting the majority of my business because of this. Fix your Kiosk and STOCK your cardboard envelopes in the lobby. read more
