It was an African American guy. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was due to the lack of holiday decor and the cases that usually have different types of stamps to purchase were empty. Whomever is responsible for the location and making the atmosphere pleasant has failed. The atmosphere is not only for customers but for employees also.

On the 14th I went to return the scale and was told by the same worker he did not know how to do that and to come back and talk to the post master on Monday which I did. At the same worker station he told me to wait while he talk the the lady in charge. He came back and told me the receipt said not returns due to covid. That is bs the receipt states no refunds on stamps and postage. I told them that was wrong and asked to speak to the post mater. the same one he just spoke to and was told I could not. If it was my money I would not give a hoot, but this is for the DAV to work for the veterans and I hate to see arrogance on the part of government employees against a veterans organization. However, I was presently surprised at how quick the service was, and how friendly the employees were. There were 2 women working the counter, and we were in and out of there in about 20 minutes. There were people waiting in line (about 3 ahead of us). We were there right at the opening on a Monday morning. I would recommend getting there early to beat the crowd! There were people trickling in as we were leaving the post office. The Post Office is dated, and a drab though! Poor lighting, and interior that has not been updated since the 70s probably. Hopefully, one day the government can spend some $ to improve the working conditions!

I went in today to drop off a package. The printer printed the label that said no postage necessary…read moreif mailed in the United States this was a return from eBay and the way it printed it cut off the no postage and half of necessary and the staff refused to reprint the label or scan the package because the barcode was completely intact. The address was intact. Nothing else was missing, but they refuse to take my package because it did not say that I could've handwritten that on there if that was acceptable but no, they would not allow it and I was forced to go home without being able to drop off my Package and reprint the label. Completely unhelpful staff this would never happen UPS. I know that they have the ability to scan a barcode and reprint if UPS can do it. I'm sure the United States Postal Service can do it. It's just complete lack of customer service. Yes I did throw a fit. I am not proud of that part, but it was just incredibly unhelpful when I have very limited time to do these types of errands during their working hours.
