Maybe I was too lazy to walk the twenty feet to the door. The usual stock of shipping materials. No, don't ask for tape. You have to buy your own. And also, did you know it's illegal to take first class shipping boxes and reverse them so as to get free boxes?

The workers here are super friendly and helpful and they even helped me pick out the best price on mailing out my package. She said it was too expensive before I even did and found me the best way to mail it without breaking the bank! They are always smiling and willing to answer questions. :) Today I found out there's parking in the front AND the back - like behind the strip mall. I only found out about those hidden spots because I walked 2 miles here to mail out my package. Oh yea, one thing to note is the mailbox outside does not take packages - only letters. They nailed it shut so there's only a little slot for letters. Beware.

And bringing something to the post office to send out is one of them. When I had my son return an item via mail he took it to this location. Upon his arrival he was met with an employee (named Soo) who was on her phone. Being that this was my son's first time at the post office, he brought his item to the counter where the employee rudely told him he needed to tape the box as it wasn't secured already. He did just that and came back to the counter where Soo abruptly told him he needed to write down on a piece of paper the "to" and from". He went back to the other counter, wrote down the "to" and "from" on a paper just as he was told to and came back to the counter where Soo was. Mind you, the office was not busy and there was no line. He was met with more rude responses from Soo: "did you not write down the to and from? It needs to go here! You need to cut it in half and tape it here! Do you have more tape? Never mind! I'll do it myself!" Basically it comes down to this: Be nice to others. What ever happened to customer service? What ever happened to helping others and treating them kindly? Sure, this was my 17 year old's first time at going to the Post Office but like I've always told him, there are many ways to say something. Your tone of voice, your attitude and your countenance says a lot. Soo - it is clear you do not like your job. Maybe you are having a bad day, month or year. Don't take it out on customers, especially someone you might think you can have your way with just because they are younger than you. My son was kind, didn't talk back to (which he clearly could have) but he was respectful and did everything you said. But your poor and unprofessional attitude is a reflection of the United States Postal Service. Shame on you for taking out your frustrations and poor attitude on my son. Ending note: if you need to go to the post office, choose another location. Do not go here.

The USPS agent told me I was given incorrect information and advised me to request a refund online or go to a local postal office for an in person refund not necessarily Wedgwood. The postal clerk at Lake City was efficient and well informed, issuing my refund after having me complete a refund form. I could have saved time had I gone to Lake City office first.

There is this one Asian lady (I believe she is Korean) who helps me most of the time when I'm there, and she is great every time! She explains how things work thoroughly, whether I'm there for mailing in my old passport to get it renewed or sending a package to Japan. She is also very careful about putting in the correct address so I feel more comfortable and confident getting help from her. She also has good energy level and is nice to talk to. Being in customer-facing job myself, she inspires me to do better at my job too. This may be common knowledge, but since they do not let you use mailing tools like glue, tapes, or scissors, I recommend bringing them from home if you plan on packing on-site.

No issue with parking in the shared lot, literally right by the main entrance. It was busy, but I was immediately assisted. Great staffing availability here. QR code was scanned, package received, and I was provided a receipt of this transaction. I literally was in and out well under two minutes or so. That was astounding! This was my first experience with The UPS Store since previous shipping stops had been with FedEx Office. Impressive!

In long Kind of a tricky parking lot, but not the worst around. Tight spaces, lots of traffic turning in and out. Tons of popular food in this little strip-mall parking lot. I scored a spot easily, though the lunch rush was over. Turns out I was "behind" the store, and the door was barely marked. Walk down a hall to what turns out to be the front room. Lively conversation going on between the 3 dudes working since they had no customers right before I walked in. It's awesome to see people enjoying working together. I hope every day is like that. What's not to like about no line in front of you at a shipping place? I was weighed, labeled, charged, and out the door for a reasonable price in maybe 5 minutes. Tiny, lightweight box now costs about $12 for the slowest service, but that's alright.

I visited Wedgwood postal office today to request a refund for a PM Express which has a money back…read moreguarantee if not delivered by the scheduled delivery date, which was the case with mine. I was told by a pleasant clerk this is not done in the local offices or online, he directed me to call customer service and they will issue my refund. I did this and was told that yes, the local offices can issue refunds and he should have done that. The customer service agent advised me to complete a refund request online or go to another local postal office to receive my refund. I chose to go to Lake City postal office where the postal clerk was well informed and efficient, having me complete a refund form and promptly refunded the cost of the PM express. Had I been helped at Wedgwood, my time would have been saved from calling USPS (waiting 15 minutes to speak to someone) and then having to go to Lake City for my refund.
