I use the postal service a lot. (Don't have much choice when it comes to mailing a letter). We have great customer service, but the system itself needs major improvements. For the price you pay for postage it shouldn't take a week to mail something across the country. Especially when you pay for priority mail. read more

The people who work at the Texas City Post Office have always been very professional and kind. I am very thankful for each one of them and how they go above and beyond. The workers behind the counter are always kind and helpful. The carrier who delivers mail to my home left me a note about my mail because there was a mother bird building a nest in my mailbox he didn't want to disturb. And the carrier who delivers mail at our business office always makes us smile with his kind words and positive attitude. During the hard times I am sure they all hear alot of complaining from people who are just feeling beat down by life, but I can truly say they have been a ray of sunshine in my life. Drove almost 1 hour to get to this place for a passport renewal for the whole family including my kids. There was no sign which door to go. Have to go through different wrong entrances until we got to the right one. Very disorganized. Once we got there we were 5 minutes late for our appointment. They will not accept us and was very rude. Drove 1 hour. With COVID it's very hard to set an appointment. We were the last appointment. No one was in front of us or following us. We booked for an hour of appointment. It's a Friday so I guess they just want to go home early and start their weekend. Talk about customer service. Why do we even bother having them? The wife and I both worked at a hospital. Can you imagine if we treat our patients and their family members this way...just because it's a Friday and we want to start our weekend? I am not surprise if one of these days the government will do away with the USPS. They are awful especially the this Texas city one. read more

This is honestly the worst place to deal with, late deliveries, nothing at all, lost things I have shipped and received. It's not just holidays or weather it is all year long, I've lived here a year and I've had issues with this place almost 3x a week. How can someone run an online business in this place when nothing can be shipped out correctly or delivered to my home? Calling them is a joke they don't even have their number anymore online, its all a 800 number now, and I'm suppose to receive a call in over an HOUR! I just want my stuff, you all have one job here to do, get our shit to and from us! going through FedEx, UPS, and other places always comes to this damned post office, I don't get why but it always does and it's a crap hole. It gets to them they wait 2-3 days till it gets to my door, your office is not that big, and most of my packages are fucked up when I get them, also I constantly get the wrong peoples mail. Fairly old building but the staff has been helpful and friendly the few times I've been here. They get the job done.

Constantly getting other peoples mail and now a new fun idea of leaving our boxes on and in our planter. So the whole world can see. I've put in complaints 5 times now for the last few months. All the person needs to do is take 2 more steps and put it behind the planter and on our porch. When it rains our boxes and things inside is wet sometimes completely destroyed. Rain pours from our roof in to said planter. I'm done. This is such crap I may have to go in to the office and talk to who ever is in charge. I put decor in the planter even so they wouldn't put things in it and on it. Nope they do it anyway crushing anything in it. Its completely ridiculous having to do this maybe I will get some kind of response. As I sit here waiting on hold to put in another report. Yay 30 min hold the shortest one yet. Because if you do it online they come back with... if it doesn't change what are you going to do? I guess I get to do your job with your employees. read more

I called to make an appointment with the passport office as the door says you can only come in by appointment... When I called the number nobody answered and I got a voicemail during working hours and never got a call back for an appointment. I called the next day and the lady says the next appointment is the end of February.. One month from now. I asked her if you get a rush on your passport how soon can you get it and she says four weeks. So I went to another passport office, no appointments needed, all you do is fill out and turn in your application with pictures and copies of your ID. Why you would need an appointment I have no idea. Also I learned that if you put a rush on your passport you have it back within days and online USPS claims to send you your passport within three weeks. I am filing a complaint against this lady because imagine how many people walked away thinking they couldn't get their passport in time to travel. Thank God, I had gotten mine before and was only getting one for my son and husband and knew that I got mine within three weeks. I don't know how they get away with this stuff. read more
