Wow! This post office is unbelievable! My packages we "missing" for a whole week even though I had confirmation of delivery in my locked box. The post office said my route doesn't have a regular mail person and that he wasn't aware of the person who was delivering my route if they had a real name. Rosie was then supposed to investigate my 5 missing packages (over the week span). I waited 2 weeks with no reply from her. I then went back to Rosie and she asked for another week to investigate. I was then informed to file claims - filed the claims and their automatic claim system automatically denies them and then states I need to file appeal. What a JOKE of a place! read more

TERRIBLE. DON'T waste your money or time. I mailed an expensive early surprise grift to my Mother for Valentine' Day with priority shipping told it would arrive 2-3 days guaranteed. Customer service confirmed it would take 5 days. So I was LIED to. The package was LOST by usps and they refused to make it right. "sorry." was the full extent of their accountability for a ruined holiday. I'm a FedEx/UPS customer now. read more

It's my local postal office. Never had any issues, shipped international packages, did my passport here, sent many letters domestically. Michael seems like the most knowledgeable one, always on point. Yes, they're not acting like some luxury hotel level service, but it's USPS, they're probably not getting paid enough for the amount of people they deal with and the amount of mail they're taking care off. read more

This is the absolute worst Post office I have ever dealt with.. I spend over 1,000 a week on labels the guest service is completely horrid and unprofessional.. never once have they picked up a scheduled "pick up".. oh and definitely don't even bother calling .. that guy on the phone is a real piece of work. what is the point in setting an appointment for a passport, if they just take the first person to walk in, instead of going in order of appointment? we wound up sitting until 9:30, because they started late, took the second appointment time instead of us (we had the first appointment slot), and then they helped someone who had an issue with their application. there's a reason people set appointments. if you aren't going to honor them, then don't offer them. read more

Sat here for an hour past my appt time to get my passport. The mail attendees didn't care that we (two different people were booked for earlier times than me) were waiting for over half an hour for the passport person to show up from the back. As far as this specific post office goes, the employees that physically work the counter at this post office are friendly and helpful most of the time. Like most post offices, they really don't care if the line gets too long and don't seem to get in too big of a hurry unless it's time to go home. I will say that this post office is notorious for showing a package (Amazon for instance) is "Delivered" when it is clearly not delivered. On Facebook, a few neighbors compared delivery times of packages and noticed that all of their packages were delivered within a couple minutes of each other. Apparently, someone at the post office was scanning bar codes to show them delivered when it would be physically impossible to deliver that many packages throughout our neighborhood within a couple of minutes. As far as regular mail delivery goes, it is amazing how often mail gets put in the wrong mail box. I get my neighbors mail, they get mine. Our mailboxes are centrally located in our neighborhood and are locked so I have to hand-deliver the mis-delivered mail to my neighbors. I guess the one good thing is every time this happens, I get to meet another neighbor. This is government employees at their best. You can't fire them so why should they even try. Ridiculous. I really wish President Trump would privatize the USPS so we could fire some of these slackers. The League City post office really needs to step up their game. read more

Today I got a notification that a package was delivered to my locked mailbox at 2:31, yet there's no package. Neighbors have received mail regarding our mortgage, car loan, bank statements and other pieces of time sensitive and private mail that should never end up in someone else's hands. If it weren't for my awesome neighbors returning our mail and auto draft billing, we'd be late on our bills. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they worked really hard to recover a lost package of mine a few months ago, and I almost never have to wait more than five minutes when I visit this post office. Update: Despite getting a new mailman, we are still dealing with frequently misdelivered mail in my neighborhood. Currently trying to track down a package that was supposedly delivered to my locked mailbox two days ago. Very frustrating especially because this item is for Christmas and it's nowhere to be found. Update 2/26/18: we received a "sorry we missed you" slip in our mailbox last week that indicated the mail carrier attempted to deliver a certified letter. They made no attempt. We were both home all day, and we have cameras. No attempt was made. We love taking thirty minutes out of our day to make a trip to the post office, while toting around a newborn, to pick up a certified letter because the mail carrier is too lazy to do their job and deliver it. It's obvious he didn't try, as the slip was in the centrally located mailbox, not on our door. Update 12/6/18: I ordered a custom item and it was shipped priority mail 11 days ago, six days of which the item has been "in transit to next facility". The front desk workers are amazing and courteous. Michael, Judy & their companion are great and patient. I'm giving this 3 stars mostly for them, behind the scenes is chaos. Blonde lady with glasses is the worst! SO rude. I had a doubt and she was super rude. The envelopes they have are supposed to be free if I have the label already. Last week when I sent customers their package, this post office delivered it in time and intact. THIS WEEK, I sent the SAME customers another package, the text alerts said it was "OUT FOR DELIVERY by 8:00 pm" but when I put the tracking information into USPS.com search engine, it gave me a red flag and said that the "package was returned to sender because the addressee was unknown"! This address was in big, black bold letters taped on the package! How can the addressee be unknown?! This is bad for business! You got one job: to deliver a package to its destination on time! All of this money I pay in shipping fees, yet I spend a good bit of my time tracking down packages. This is ridiculous! Get my customers their package please, now and thank you!! read more

Once again League City postal services messes up with our packages. The Amazon packaged shows that it was signed on delivery. First of all I never signed for any package in the last few days, secondly we never sign for these regular packages from Amazon...so who knows who signed for it. The other package shows it was delivered in our mail box--well, my mail box does not have any package there. They lost three of my packages within one week never had an issue before idk if they changed carriers or what but it's been two months and haven't gotten any of them After one month I called the worker answered I said I'm calling about my packages I'd like to know what's going on? I had called and filed a complaint about the representative who handles address change on why is she sending back my mail and not taking action on customers' safety measures to ensure that we as customers who pay them to help us receive mail and send mail to the appropriate addressees. In addition, I have spoken to her about this issue of me not getting my mail because the POST OFFICE sent it back to the sender! I've also asked her about maybe the correct address isn't on there but she stated that the people who lived in my home have to re-due the change of address form in order for me to receive my mail. May I ask WHY and how am I suppose to ask total strangers they need to re-due the address form?? Seriously?!! She is an extremely ugly person who clearly doesn't care whose mail gets lost while in the process because she simply thinks she can tell people what to do and how to do it AND gets away with it!! My mail is still being re-routed to an address that I DO NOT LIVE IN!! I'm frustrated with USPS employees that work in the office and who SUPPOSSIBLY watches the mail and should be sorted to the correct address. NOT true! She differently needs to get fired for holding mail, send back to the sender, re-routing mail without AUTHORIZATION, which is a FEDERAL Offense Felony case according to United States law!! read more

I would give this place ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!purchased a P.O. Box 6 months ago have never gotten any of my mail that was suppose to get sent here. They had my first name under my middle name and last name instead of how it is on my DL I provided to them.. have been waiting for 2 Stimulus checks to go here !!! I have lived in League City for over 15 years. My review of the LC Post Office covers the past (approximately 3 years) of problems that have surfaced, dealing with service. The post office usually has two (if one is lucky) desk clerks to handle customers. I have been in the facility to see over 10 people waiting in line with only 2 clerks manning the desk. For a growing city of over 100,000 citizens, one poorly run postal facility is not customer friendly. The newest problem is packages not being delivered. We have had a parcel box key in our mailbox, only to find there is nothing in the parcel box. The carrier does make a point of marking "package delivered", but this is not true. Today (3/7/2017) I went to the post office to file a complaint. I had the same issue in February. Somehow the package "mysteriously" appeared, after filing the report at the post office and speaking with the Supervisor. This is not a professional, nor honest way to offer a service to the public. I am not the only person in the City to have "issues" with the postal service; there are many others! read more

Lived all over the USA. Am 68. Lived in League City about 13 years. Prior to moving to League City never lost anything in the mail. Typically loose about $1,000 worth of items in the mail in League City annually. Have made three trips to League City post office this week in an attempt to find lost mail. Today was waiting for the mail person in my driveway. Knew a package was coming. Live on a dead end street. Package did not arrive. Informed delivery stated, "Delivery Attempted, No Access to Delivery Location." So a man waiting in his driveway on a dead end street for the League City Post office did not receive a package because of "No Access to Delivery Location" Seriously? read more

I do a lot of mailing due to my Amazon-ing book sales. These people used to see me at least a couple of times a week. Nowadays, it's maybe once a month. I got to know them, they know me. I'm the "media mail with confirmation" chick. Lines can get scary long, but I've never been here longer than 30 minutes for anything. I like the thin, blond lady- always smiling and helpful. I almost always see her working. Suggestions for packaging were taken from her. She thought I was a teacher because I write neat. The heavy-set blond lady isn't as friendly, but she's straight up a typical postal employee. She gets you in and out quickly. And then there's the "bald guy with pretty eyes." Mother gave that description, thanks for that. Nice enough. I feel like he's always sniffling.. on my packages. Told you I know them too well. I just gave you a review of the main employees vs. the actual business. I don't know-- it's a post office. You mail stuff and can do passports there. read more

This post office is horrible. A package was supposed to have been delivered two weeks ago and the tracking says delivery on hold until they could verify the address. I have called several times (usually they didn't answer), when they did answer they said they would check on it and get back to me...that was over a week ago. I went up there 4 days ago to talk to them and they told me the same thing and still no response. This is the reason the postal service is in such dire straits now...nobody cares, the service sucks and is getting worse and they keep jacking up their prices. read more

Probably the absolute worst experience in a post office. Showed up to submit my passport application and despite every other person for submitting apps for passports leaving due to the ridiculous wait, the employee couldn't take the very short time it would take to get my app processed. I waited for close to an hour and a half trying to be patient, and the line for packages became unmanageable so I was put on the back burner. The mail carriers here are terrible. Ordered a package from Amazon, they send me an email saying it was placed in my mail box. No, it wasn't placed in MY mail box. All of the keys to the package slots have been used so the package key was placed in someone else's mailbox. Happy Birthday to that neighbor who got a nice gift out of my wallet this evening. This is not the first time or even the second or third time this has happened. They are still trying to locate the $300+ of school uniforms they gave to someone else in 2014. I know you are thinking, why keep clicking USPS when you order something. They thing is: I don't! I don't know what the deal is but UPS gets my packages to League City and then transfers them to the post office. I can't even count the number of times our letter mail hasn't made it here. And yes, I have horrible neighbors who won't return our misplaced mail and packages. The way I figure it this USPS owes me about $800 now. This morning I called and was immediately put on hold for twenty minutes. I hung up and called back and it rang and rang and rang and rang until someone picked up and then hung up. I called back again and now the phone has been busy for ten minutes. I emailed the USPS and have not gotten a response. Spent fifteen minutes on hold with USPS and now have a case number and the local post office has three days to contact me about this matter. We shall see. read more

Someone needs to do a sting on this office like I understand is happening to other post office in the Houston area. I had certified mail sent to my house. We waited all day. The delivery person put a slip in our mailbox saying we were not home. The person never came to the door. I went to the post office the next day. They couldn't find the letter. The person behind the counter told me that the delivery person didn't put the tracking number on the delivery notice. She made a copy and said she would look into it. I had to work on Friday but came back Monday with the tracking number. They still couldn't find the letter. I asked for a supervisor. She determined the letter was sent back to Houston . Apparently, the wonderful delivery person put it into the wrong bin when returning from his route. She took my number and said she would call me once she could locate or determine what has happen. Well, 5 days later, no return call and tracking is still showing the same information that was listed on the 6th. I would like the post master to call me and explain why his delivery employees aren't doing their job! The supervisor at the league city branch has my phone number. read more

We came here on a quiet Monday evening and the employees were extremely rude to us the entire time when all we did was ask questions. Just go to another UPS. Lol. read more
