Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

Maybe going during the middle of the week when people are at work helped. My kids loved the big pool area with all the fun tools and toys. They also likes the slide, but I would suggest they have a lifeguard who is comfort with kids and telling them to get in line be there because the poor kid who was there was not at all. I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. We had a really great time and will come back again next summer!

It's a little nature oasis just a stone's throw from the heart of the city. You'll find the conservatory, great landscaping, a large fountain, natural wetland spaces and views overlooking the city. I have a fitness membership-it's $25 for a CRC membership (for the YEAR!) which gets you into the center for open gyms and classes (Zumba, Yoga, Aerobics) and it's an extra $70/year (or $20/quarter) to use the fitness room. It doesn't get much better. The staff are friendly and will give you free reign of the place to walk around and check things out before you commit. It is a pretty basic place-two treadmills, three ellipticals, free weights, and a full assortment of weight machines. The cardio equipment works fine, but has been around awhile. The crowd is very diverse and friendly, and often rather scarce, but in the winter time and can get a bit crowded. They do also have a bathroom with a shower room and lockers. I've never used them, but wouldn't be afraid to. The hours are reasonable at 6:30-9 during the week-I can get in before or after work, but Saturdays could be better (9-noon). Parking is off-street and plentiful.
