The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the prices were very reasonable, and the tree lot had a very festive atmosphere. There were reindeer, a fun little merry-go-round ride nestled amid a corral of hay bales, an adorable double-decker bus, and a great selection of a variety of types of trees. They also had a number of other holiday decorative items on hand, including some small christmas tree stands (for those of us that were a bit unprepared.) It was a fun time for our whole family, and it was nice to support a local business, especially at this time of year.

Wasn't willing to wait and see if it would worsen to the level of another recent performance that was utterly shocking in its crudeness. While Hale Center Theater and Tuacahn continue to produce/present appropriate content for all ages in Utah, Eccles has lowered their bar over the years, seemingly under the guise of Art. What I find most frustrating is their unwillingness to warn the audience in advance or acknowledge the patrons who exit these productions (often in droves).

They…read moreclearly have some money, because it looks like they rented the same sets/costumes that were used at the La Jolla and Paper Mill productions. Production quality, performances, and music direction were completely amateurish, though. I knew I wasn't just being overly critical when the little girl next to me asked her mother (in that embarrasingly loud whisper that only a child can do), "Mommy, why is he so bad at singing?" during "Out There". Please note: this is NOT the same as Utah Opera (based in Salt Lake City), which has given fantastic performances every time I've seen them. The two companies are completely separate and unrelated.
