I had a planned C-section with my doctor, and I'm not going to lie--I was nervous at first. I had…read moreheard this hospital was small, but also that they offered a more personal, 1-on-1 experience. Since this was my last baby, I was really hoping for something better than my previous births with my other two daughters. Let me just say--it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. I was treated with such care, like a close family member was looking after me. The staff constantly checked in to make sure I was okay, explained everything clearly, and truly made me feel supported. My baby stayed in the room with me almost the entire time--only leaving briefly for a few necessary tests--and the nurses were kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. Honestly, it didn't feel like a regular hospital at all--it felt peaceful, warm, and focused on me and my baby. If you're on the fence about coming here, I say go for it. I 100% recommend this hospital--it was a beautiful way to welcome my last little one into the world.

Never go here. They don't answer the phone, they don't care, and they do terrible work. I hate even giving 1 star, they deserve none. All my friends and loved ones will know how much I hated my experience here. I hope they close.

I was seen in this office the morning of Sept 24th by Michael Durando. I went in because I have…read morebeen previously diagnosed with pernicious anemia from a past provider and was hoping to receive some clarity on my diagnosis. Dr. Durando immediately disagreed with this diagnosed which is fine however he went on to question why I was taking the vitamins and iron and asked if I am also taking a sugar pill and if the provider that prescribed them has stock in the vitamin companies. I am not sure if he was implying that the diagnosis was in my head and being treated as such with sugar pills or if he was implying that my endocrinologist is mistreating me for his own gain in vitamin stocks, either way you can see how his comments were extremely offensive and unnecessary. I am a self pay patient and mentioned to him that I am currently having my PCP treat my symptoms because my endocrinologist was requiring labs every 6 weeks in addition to office visits. It's not that I can't afford the labs and visits, it just got expensive and it does not make sense to continue doing it when I can save money with the PCP. Dr. Durando continued to mention my financial situation as if it were an issue. I asked if it would be helpful to do lab work and he commented yes but its to expensive for you. I am self pay but I have the ability to and do pay my medical bills. I have been self pay for many years and have never had a provider make me feel so incapable of receiving care because of it. I came in looking for help and understanding of my previous diagnosis and I left feeling more confused and unsure than ever. He likely could be correct that the others doctors have misdiagnosed me but I would think that he could have explained this better to me. Instead he degraded me and made me feel as if I am stupid for believing the other doctors. I have never felt so unheard or had such a negative experience with a medical provider. Everyone else in the office was helpful and friendly.
