I had the best birth experience at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Every single nurse was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful -- they made me feel so supported and cared for during such an important moment. On top of that, the food was surprisingly good! The celebratory dinner was such a thoughtful touch and honestly tasted amazing. I'm so grateful for the care I received here -- truly couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Waited 4+ hours for a COVID test. Had to urinate about 3 hours into my wait in line. Get to the front and see the attached picture. So my options are either get out of line and go urinate inside and get back in line for a now 6 hour queue. I understand more portable bathrooms would cut into profits and put this hospital out of business

I couldn't figure out if this was a hospital, or a clinic, or Dr offices. I had a Dr's appt. and this is where GPS told me the exact location was. GPS couldn't tell me which building it was, so it took me a few minutes to find the office. After I located the suite for my appointment, I decided to walk around to try and find a snack shop, trying to kill some time. I found a very small gift shop on the main level that sold snacks and gifts. When I was looking around I caught the tail end of the conversation between a customer buying a bottle of sprite, and the store manager selling coke. "You know" said the customer saying something about Mormans shouldn't be drinking Coke, but how they own part of Coke. (A rumor I"ve heard for years.) Basically she wanted the gift store to stop selling coke, but sprite was ok. The store manager said that she sells to all people, not just certain religions. I had to bite my tongue because I didn't feel like getting into a brawl over soda I don't even drink. I got my snack, and walked towards my appt. There was a bit of construction going on. I don't know if it was a remodel, or if they were fixing something. On my walk around I saw a man in a hospital gown, that was the only indication this was a hospital. It reminds me of a small town clinic. Definitely not a hospital on a grand scale.

We had our other 2 children at McKay Dee and while it was good Ogden Regional blew them out of the water!

Dr. Durando immediately disagreed with this diagnosed which is fine however he went on to question why I was taking the vitamins and iron and asked if I am also taking a sugar pill and if the provider that prescribed them has stock in the vitamin companies. I am not sure if he was implying that the diagnosis was in my head and being treated as such with sugar pills or if he was implying that my endocrinologist is mistreating me for his own gain in vitamin stocks, either way you can see how his comments were extremely offensive and unnecessary. I am a self pay patient and mentioned to him that I am currently having my PCP treat my symptoms because my endocrinologist was requiring labs every 6 weeks in addition to office visits. It's not that I can't afford the labs and visits, it just got expensive and it does not make sense to continue doing it when I can save money with the PCP. Dr. Durando continued to mention my financial situation as if it were an issue. I asked if it would be helpful to do lab work and he commented yes but its to expensive for you. I am self pay but I have the ability to and do pay my medical bills. I have been self pay for many years and have never had a provider make me feel so incapable of receiving care because of it. I came in looking for help and understanding of my previous diagnosis and I left feeling more confused and unsure than ever. He likely could be correct that the others doctors have misdiagnosed me but I would think that he could have explained this better to me. Instead he degraded me and made me feel as if I am stupid for believing the other doctors. I have never felt so unheard or had such a negative experience with a medical provider. Everyone else in the office was helpful and friendly.
