Went here for the first time yesterday. The online registration was easy, and check-in at the studio was even easier. The facility is beautiful. The instructor was friendly, and the class (a Restorative Yoga class) was well done. Looking forward to more classes. read more

I'm SO glad we found this place!! My friend & I stayed at Zermatt & we wanted to get a massage but the resort prices were ridiculous! Almost $100 for less than an hour? No thanks. Thankfully I did more research & found this place! Did it meet my expectations? No. It exceeded them! Barbara gave us such an amazing massage! I got the hot stone massage & I'll never go back to regular. I was incredibly relaxed, and I didn't want it to be over. Go here, get a massage! You will not regret it! read more

Utah Yoga & Wellness started in 2015 as a way to unite local studios, professionals and products through shared information. Now a boutique studio and wellness center in Midway, you can receive a complete all-in-one wellness experience!

Meet the Business Owner: E J.

A family owned studio/wellness center ~ Elise has been teaching in the health/wellness industry for 18 years, the last 13 dedicated to yoga. Her husband, RYT 200, teaches Mens Yoga & TRX, & their teenage daughters both, RYT 200's, teach Youth Yoga, SUP & Aerial. Elise has several yoga certifications in different styles, as well as a certified Yoga Therapist & Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainer, able to cater to specific needs of her classes and clients. With her professional yet lighthearted approach, "where everybody knows your name." Teaching a broad range of classes while creating "Unity in Community," with the logo of the encircled Phoenix as a symbol of growth & transformation, having also created Utah Hygge Retreats, Adventure Wellness Retreats, UY&W Festival, Yoga in the Park, creating connection; where it's not just a business, it's personal.

Lovely state park that is so accessible and very near to towns of heber and midway. There is…read moreplenty of parking available. Was very excited to not have to drive super far to get to some local hiking. This area very much reminded me of my hometown. I am only going to review one hike though as that is all i had the chance to enjoy of wasatch mountain state park. If I were in heber again i would love to go and explore this beauty more. Crows nest via huber grove via epperson is the hike we attempted to go on. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/utah/crows-nest-via-huber-grove-to-epperson Its a 5.1 mile loop trail that starts at the parking lot next to the visitor center. It is rated moderate. so there are so many off shoots on this trail. We followed teh all trails map and it led us astray. We eventually found the finale crows nest loop but my teens were done at that point and we just headed back. The loop in all trails map also is longer than what is listed. There are not a lot of signs that say crows nest. We did find our way out easily enough. Trail is dry. Pretty area once you get up into the trees. It is nice that wasatch is not too far out of town so very accessible. If you do not have a utah state parks pass be sure to bring $10 cash or go to the website at teh parking lot and then you can pay for parking online

Silver Lake Trail

This review is for Silver Lake Trail which was a ~4.5 miles round trip that took ~3.5 hours to…read morecomplete. This was another one of those hikes that was stunning from beginning to end near Alpine, Utah. Trail begins with a surrounding of aspen trees and eventually becomes an exposed area as you climb up the side of the mountain towards the lake. There were two water crossings at this time and easy to cross with the logs and rocks. For the most part, the trail was narrow and rocky with a steady incline. Required to drive on a bumpy dirt road for ~3 miles. Recommend a high clearance vehicle. Parking lot can fill up fast at the trailhead because the people who kayak, swim, etc at the Silver Lake Flat Reservoir also park in this area. This is my type of hike-more like a mild nature walk with all my favorite things: water, trees and…read morewildlife. There's a good sized parking lot with some restrooms (which were unfortunately poorly maintained due to staffing issues-but that's another review). There are a few nice overlook spots along the trail and even a few benches to stop and enjoy the scenery. I noticed that there were many spots in the grassy area that appeared to be burned. As I was wondering aloud what those meant, I came across a sign that explained that they were prescribed burns to prevent the existing trees from choking out. They need space to grow. The water is incredibly clear and the stream has a lovely flow to it. There are some spots that are a little more sparse than others, so it might not be the most magnificent trail you'll find in the mountains, but if it's along your path and you'd like a short walk, it's definitely worth visiting.
