This deli used to be so great growing up, and even a few months ago back when the young adults were working there. All of a sudden they let them go, and decided to hire old people who cannot remember anything or get anything right and it was very frustrating. We stopped going and then decided to come back and now i think theyve hired people who are high, they dont do their job, dont listen at all, dont pay attention. The place has gone down the drain and the food is not good at all anymore. They cant cook eggs to the right temperature and cant put the right cheese or any cheese on it if you ask. Its horrible. It doesn't take much to make me happy when visiting a place. For a beer house, all it takes is good service. I came here for two reasons, one: I had some cans I wanted to recycle (it makes me feel like I'm saving the planet) and two: my brother wanted to pick up beer for when he headed home. I pulled up to this location fifteen minutes early and found parking in their decent sized lot. The gates were still down so my brother and I stood there and talked. That's when, from behind a chain linked fence and gentleman appeared. I felt this was the perfect time to ask about the business. He immediately yelled out "we are open in fifteen minutes!" I said "I know, just wanted to ask a question." He than quickly shut that down. "I open in fifteen minutes and don't like people waiting in my parking lot, so come back than!" I felt completely offended. He couldn't even answer a question. My brother wanted to say something, but in this day and age I strongly advised him not to. We just left and took our business somewhere else. I get it, it doesn't like to be bothered while he's working. Who does? But we were customers coming to buy food and keep money in the community. What was he thinking? If that's how he is with everyone, I'm certain the doors will be closing here for good soon. read more

This place is so convenient nestled in the East Patchogue/Bellport area. You can call ahead or drive up to the window and order something and it comes out quickly. The staff is helpful and sweet. For a mom who's on the go it's so nice to pull up to the door with kids on the car and keep it moving. Their egg sandwiches are great. read more

What a gem. Another great reason to live between Patchogue Village and Bellport Village. When I bought my home 28 years ago, I was introduced to the shop and been coming back ever since. Neighbors called it "Utter Delight", sign says "Dunton Corner Deli"-- (it is not a Beer & Beverage Center) -- to me it will always be "The Drive-Up Deli". The food is very, very good. Special orders don't upset them. The prices are in line with what the neighborhood can handle. Great Deli sandwiches at better than Deli prices. The convenience of fast food, but the quality of home cooked, when you choose. When I run short of one or two items-- I gladly pay more-- rather than drive back to Main Street, IGA, or -- hell no, 7-11. I always try to remember to leave my coin change or a dollar, for the staff. They are making and bringing me my food-- not a machine on a belt under heat lamps. Yes minimum wage has gone up, but so have all our costs. In all these years, I have watched teenage staff grow up, graduate, a couple go to college-- all while standing in that sliding glass doorway. I have no idea who owns the store, there may have been multiple owners. I love the addition of the Irish food products-- please add a list to your website. I know the staff by their smiling faces. Hardly ever remember names. Had I been asked to write this, I would not have done so. This a local business worthy of our support. hb read more
