It also didn't have a ton of cream cheese like most bagel places do. The bagel was also very fresh. My boyfriend said his bagel was good. For two bagels with schmear and a Snapple it was under $10. The worst!! They don't open at 530 am according to the man who works in the back they open whenever the cashier shows up and she's late everyday. I called and asked to speak to a manager and was told it's true but she's also a manager so there's nothing they can do to make her come to work on time. They just think it's okay to advertise one time and then ignore customers at the door because as they told me today- there wasn't a rush of people it was just me. I come here once in awhile for breakfast since I work across the street. Service is hit or miss, depends on who you get at the counter. Most times it's friendly but a couple days ago a Hispanic woman with braces wasn't so friendly. Won't stop me from going back but I left a little annoyed because of her a couple days ago. The food is usually consistent, especially if it's an egg sandwich. The guy at the grill has been working here for as long as I can remember and makes a mean ass egg sandwich. I've been avoiding eggs lately so ordered bacon and cheese on a toasted egg everything bagel and it was perfect! However, the hash browns need some work. They were very bland. Needs some onion, seasoning (paprika), salt and pepper. Maybe even green pepper. Something. They're pretty much tasteless. :/ Easy 4 stars. Could be 5 on a really good day. read more

Patchogue Bagel Delis ties for first place with their quality of bagels. I'm born and raised on Long Island and have had bagels from countless bagel places and only one other place comes close! The staff there is very friendly and courteous, they do their absolute best to get you in and out as quick as possible. They also have good quality egg sandwiches, the meat is always fresh and the sandwiches are always hot. I'm a huge fan of wraps for my breakfast sandwiches and they are never overly greasy. Some places I've visited the wrap is soaked in grease and makes a huge mess, not here! Oh and the cook, this is just my experience, but hes such a doll. He starts prepping my order the moment he sees me rather then waiting for me to actually order, he has a great memory. I'll be back for years to come. read more

Went there for a regular morning on a Saturday. There was a small confusion on our order. We went back to get our original order, with good intentions..and all of a sudden she one of cash register ladies started yelling in Spanish for no reason. I wasn't trying to make a big deal, I figured I'd come there and just switch because when I got there they had the order sitting right there!! Then I had the other lady trying to explaining saying you should of checked the order and if you say yes to a called order it's on you". Which I can respect, but still I am not a regular person that comes there everytime. Which I then said, hey I didn't know and I don't understand why she's sitting here yelling and getting upset with me, when it was such a simple small mistake. Quite frankly, it was very embarrassing on my part because she's yelling at me in Spanish and everyone was just staring at me! I don't even know what she could of been saying..for all I know she could of been cursing me out, leaving me very vulnerable, not being able to defend myself..Very unprofessional, very embarrassing because I had very good intentions on just coming there, switching an order and calling it a day. After this experience, I don't think I will be going there anymore. At first this was my favorite spot, but now I look at them very differently and urge other customers to use caution when ordering and make sure you double check your order, or you will face the embarrassing wrath. BACON HERB CREAMCHEESE. That pretty much says it all. I've seen copies of the bacon creamcheese, but none compare to this. And they slather so much on, you're inarguably in heaven. I get it on an egg everything (or a braided bagel). And their bagels happen to be pretty damn good. Plus, they make a KILLER egg sandiwch. Egg american and ham piled high on a braided bagel!? That takes skill to pull it off as well as they do. The hardest part is how to choose between bacon herb or eggs. I don't live close, but I will go out of my way to have bagel from here. My friends and I were ordering from this place. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE the lady who answered the phone was VERY rude. we had a pretty big order but we were ready and reading off our sandwiches, when they said they had no avocado we got thrown off for just a few seconds. As we're about to read off the next order she said "you need to tell me now I have a huge line out the door" with a very rude attitude. We hung up and refused to continue ordering because of how rude she was. She simply could have put us on hold (even though we were ready to move on) just horrible customer service and the owners should know that they lost our service due to her inability to treat us with the decency and time we deserved WE ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS. Bad experience...and honestly I can't say it was with the quality of the bagels. Crazy day, left without being given my change and did not realize until after pulling out of the lot. Returned 10 minutes later and had a very nasty argument with a manager(?), owner(?). Was told it was my fault, had to check cameras, too bad, and had no idea who I was.
