I want to start off by apologizing for the length of this review but there's a lot I feel needs to be discussed about this establishment. This is probably the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my entire life. My sister and I wanted to have a girls day and get our nails done (this was around Easter time earlier this year), and it should be noted that I got a single color gel manicure and she got a single color gel manicure and pedicure. Overall the experience was sketchy to say the least. I sat with my sister for a short amount of time as her technician started on her pedicure (I was waiting on a different technician to finish with a client before I could receive my manicure). A lot of this information I didn't find out until afterwards but according to my sister not only did her technician touch her in uncomfortable places (I.e touching her hip to guide her into the chair, touching higher up on her legs, etc) but he also proceeded to make comments regarding what I can only assume are my appearance. It should be noted that to this appointment I wore a normal T-shirt that exposed some tattoos I have on my arms (nothing explicit or offensive) and after I walked away he spoke to my sister in depth about how he hates when people walk around with visible tattoos. It wasn't just an off handed statement either. He only spoke about his severe disdain for tattoos and people who have them and our character. The lady who did my manicure was fine. She also mentioned some things about my tattoos but nothing seemingly negative. I was a little unhappy they didn't offer the color white as a gel but overall I thought for the most part my nails looked fine even though one of my nails had some small bubbles (I figured you get what you pay for). The thing that really upset me though was that within less than 24 hours the gel had begun to chip (despite me being super careful) and specifically the gel on my thumbnail began to peel off. I didn't tug or mess with it at all it just came off in one large sheet of gel. I called and was able to come back in the next day but again had to deal with some weird interactions. For example when I went in to have it looked at, the man just suddenly grabbed my hand and without saying a word started walking me towards the door. It wasn't until I pulled my hand out of his in confusion that he explained he needed to see the color in natural light to determine the color match. He then fixed the nail for me but it should be noted that his application left behind tons of bubbles in the gel that weren't there originally. Within weeks the nails looked horrible with more chipping and I removed them at home. TL;DR: I purposely waited a long time to post this review as I don't expect anything by leaving this. I just wanted to have a well explained word of warning to anyone who comes here that it's sketchy and weird and there are probably other places that offer cheap nail services with a better experience and more color options! read more

I have been going to Daysha for a few years now. She does a fantastic job and works with you to find the look you want. Just like any place you go if you don't make an appointment expect to wait. If you don't like waiting call them. It's not that hard to figure out. As for people saying the owners are rude, I've come to find the times I have been there that it's not that they are rude, it's that their English is not good. So when they use one ore two word sentences to try and make sure they are explaining things it comes off sharp or rude. The tools used to do my nails were dirty and pulled out of a bag with nail dust inside of it. The nail station that I was at had nail dust all around it also. On the upside, the owner did my nails and was very nice. Unfortunately, my nails were very thick, even by dip standards. My first time there would be also be the last. Compared to other nail salons I been to, I felt the did the absolute minimum when it came to manicures. They use OPI nail polish which is one of the best, but the polish lasted 3 days tops. I felt like I could do just as good as a job and saved myself the $15. Customer service was just bad. I have always received good service, up until today. Vanessa is the nail tech I've seen for months, and she is amazing at manis and pedis. I brought my daughter with me to get a mani at 6:36pm on a Tuesday evening. The older lady (owner's wife) was very rude, telling me and my daughter we had to leave because they were closed. I pointed out the clock, the lit neon "Open" sign, and the hanging "Open" sign on the window, which stated they didn't close till 7pm. Wow worst nail experience ever. I've been here before and usually the most annoying things is the creepy guy but this time is the end I WILL NEVER RETURN. I went in the morning and no other customers were there with 5 workers and for some reason they gave me the "new girl" I literally don't know if she had a license. She gave me the pedicure and had to ask the order of things and didn't know how to do gel.. She buffed my toe and made it bleed it hurt so bad! Then she tried to do one foot with gel while watching another girl do the other foot (they were both speaking Spanish but it was obvious she had never done gel EVER.) I was starting to get upset because It was definitely looking like two different people did my feet but Then they realized the were using the wrong light to set my gel and began trying to remove it with the head ladies help... So I got to enjoy having acetone put into my new cut and them actually using their nails to scrap my toe nails "clean" of the gel. No apology for the cut by anyone - the girl that did it or the manager.. Poor service all around. At one point I had to hold back tears from pain, disappointment, and regret for choosing that place. the inside of the salon is dingy and smelled of smoke. they did not have a regular white polish so i was forced into choosing a gel polish for my toes which ended up being $50. i was pissed. my nails looked great and held up well though. i was also forced into buying a file and buffer- they did not give me a choice. my total was $96. I waited almost two hours (we were taking my friend out for the first time since having her baby so we really wanted in). Once I sat, I got the worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. I got French tip. Then finally when I got seated, a man named Vinny did my gels and he was acting very strange and he had headphones in the whole time he was doing my nails, and that to me is very unprofessional. The lady who did my feet was very gentle and discussed different polish options with me, as I wanted something different and special because my birthday is this weekend. The man, who I assume is the owner came over to me and told me that I'm taking too long and that I need to pick a polish and leave. He never made any comments to anyone else in the nail salon except me. At that time I asked if they serviced african american people and the man never responded. He was rude and I have never experienced that kind of service from anyone ever. They will never get my business again and would hope that the African American community finds somewhere else to spend their dollars. We deserve the same respect as everyone else spending their dollars. Although the lady who did my pedicure was okay, the whole experience sent me out the door in tears.
