PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE They are all very friendly here. The manager, is very good with people. I went on a very busy Saturday morning and he handled everyone very well, letting us know who was next and what we were waiting on. He juggled everything quite skillfully. They always have good cars. I got a Nissan Altima and it was equipped with Bluetooth capability so I was able to connect my phone and play music from there. It also had an usb outlet so I was able to charge my phone at the same time. I also rented a Hyundai Santa Fe recently. It was supposed to be a Rav4 but they didn't have them. But I think the Hyundai Santa Fe is actually bigger anyway. They picked me up and Brian was very friendly and talkative during our drive to the office. I recommend renting from this office. FIRST EXPERIENCE Our car had been rear ended! Rear bumper was badly damaged, after having to track down the party responsible and having to deal with her insurance company, which attempted to give us the run around!! Having to deal with getting a rental was not something we were necessarily looking forward to!! However from the minute I was picked up by the Enterprise driver, things started feeling better! The driver was very kind, thoughtful and I truly enjoyed his conversation on our way to his office. Once I arrived at the Walnut office, Daniel Chavez greeted me and offered me a seat as he assured me he would soon assist me. The office had many costumers and Daniel did an outstanding job assisting and attending to each and everyone in a very professional manner! Thank you!! Alright; I came here for a car rental and got some great service. If you want some great car rentals at a great price come here and do it. Get it done. You will be happy that you did. They did great. Just about every time I've had to rent a car, it's been a harrowing experience. I hate dealing with the wait, the faux-friendly service, and the under-maintained cars that I've gotten at a lot of the national chains in the area I'm in. This place, though, was like a ray of sunshine when I had to rent. When I went in, everyone treated me congenially and was actually friendly, asking about why I was there and what I needed as well as moving through the paperwork as fast as we could. Management was friendly and inviting, willing to work with me on what I needed and what I was looking for, and the cars were all well maintained. They were upfront about all of the costs that I needed covered (as I was upfront about what I needed to begin with, which certainly helps) and any discrepancies from the national chain's options comes down to economies of scale - I know that smaller outfits like this just can't work out the same kind of insurance that other companies can, which is why the larger hold has to be placed. At the end of the day, I was happy with the process and the people and I walked away with the keys to a car I needed for the weekend without hassle. UPDATE: I came back here again after I had to take my car back to the body shop for repairs. Once again, the staff was extremely helpful; very caring and they seem to want to help make me feel better about my situation. First, I was in a car accident which was very hard for me to deal with. Not only did I have a nasty insurance representative, they spoke to me like it was MY FAULT for the accident. Once they got me into a rental car I found V&O Car Rental which was close to the mall in Rowland Heights. Their convenient location was useful since I needed the help at that time. When I came in I was able to speak Chinese with everyone and they were VERY helpful. This was my first time working with V&O and it was a very pleasant experience. I was refereed to V&O by a friend that had just rented with them. My car was in the shop and I needed to get a rental until it was ready. I thought it would be a hassle and a pain to rent a car since I've never rented before, I didn't know what to expect. I was told by my friend to make a reservation to help speed up the process. When I went to check in I had a lot of questions and concerns and I was very happy when the clerk took the time to answer my questions in a very patient manner. I had made a reservation for the econo class since I wanted something cheap for the mean time. The man behind the desk informed me that they did not have a car available in the econo class but that he would be more than happy to upgrade me to a full size class for free! I will never use a different company again. V&O has really earned me as a loyal customer. It was more of the return than the pick up that really sold me. I rented a luxury class car for a few days for a short business trip to san Diego. When I returned the rental I had forgotten my laptop, camera, and camera equipment which is very expensive in the trunk. I was half way home when they called me to tell me I had forgotten my stuff and it would be in the lobby behind the desk. When I got there they did not give me a hard time trying to verify who I was since they remembered me, I was more surprised that they called me! I've been robbed before by the rental car employees and they didn't even say sorry or try to fix the problem, these fine people made up for my past sorrows. I think I love this place. I'll be renting again in a few days and I know they will take care of me like family. read more

Mike the manager and his staff are all really friendly and helpful. Patient and efficient. No long wait, nor poker face! It was a pleasant experience! Great price!!! Great service =] Wouldn't go any where else on my next rental!! The only thing you have to worry about is "what do you want to drive today!!!" Good service, and nice rental car. Came here to rent a car for a week, got a Jeep SUV. The service staff were helpful and nice. It did take a long time to process the paperwork and I had to wait quite some time for the staff to get the car washed and cleaned. The rental rates were competitive and especially the weekly rates. The car was ok, Jeeps are not well made unless it's a Wrangler. I got a Jeep Cherokee and it had no power especially when going uphill. Otherwise there were no issues with the car. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! :) I went into the main lobby dreading the car rental processes, just based on my past rental experiences at other places. The person at the front desk was super helpful and polite, not like I've had before at other car rental places. Once I checked in I was taken to my rental. I was very surprised to see it was new, clean, and sporty. I was given a brand new 2015 Chevy Sonic LTZ (that's the turbo version :D) and it only had 300 miles. I was really impressed by the level of respect and customer service I received. I will definitely use them again and again in the near future. Wow! This place has the best service and rates in town! Everyone is super friendly and willing to go out of their way to accommodate the customer. I would definitely go back and rent again! Avis...where I go to rent a car. My family are big fans of weekend trips and we go to Avis and Andrew has not disappointed us. He is easy to talk to and friendly. In the last year we've rented 4 times and each time we've received a vehicle that was clean and full of gas. Just a for a few dollars more ($3 per day) we've been offered an upgrade...so we take it, one time we even got a new car that still had the new car smell! read more

I was on a recent trip to Las Vegas and needed a car for a week, so I went and got one on V&O car rental. Had a good experience renting a car from this place. My experience was spectacular from beginning to the end. You completely avoid all outrageous fees that rental companies throw at you and you get the personal touch of interacting with their customer service. I rent a toyota last month and I have intetion to extend my contract. Since I am busy and cannot return the car to the office, they made me much easier to extend the contract by just one phone call. The customer service was very helpful and I finally understand the insurance policy in usa from their explanation. The rent car price is also very reasonable for a long term contract. THIS AGENCY IS SUCH A SCAM. My car broke down near Michelson, Irvine and so I searched for the nearest location that I could rent a car. I found V&O and on their website, it says they have an office at Von Karman, which is like a 5 min walk so I went there. And I found no such office. So I thought maybe I got the address or suite # wrong. And when I called Irvine Towers, they said there is no auto rental agency there!!! If you guys don't have the office there, don't put the address up on your website!!!! read more

I came here to rent a car when I had a car accident. They are not very big when you pass by on the street.Very helpful. Great customer service. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. I would choose vo auto rental over Enterprise & Hertz any day. They are willing to help you get the appropriate vehicle that will accommodate you & your family. Then they said for double the charge they could provide a car. They are scammers and should not be in business.
