A very disappointing and honestly kind of scary experience. Imagine driving to the back of this huge business park after after dark when most businesses are closed, so it's dark and isolated. I go in, the clerk is rude and unhelpful, but honestly I figured that was because it was an hour til closing and they were just over the day. After basically helping myself and starting to check out, he's still very rude. I look up and see the Confederate flag, proudly displayed behind him. I'm looking more closely at all the memorbilia on the walls that mark this as an unsafe place for me. They've already started running the card and this guy's just kinda smirking while I stare at this wall, sad and honestly a little scared. He seemed to enjoy that part. If I hadn't been a tiny woman of color, alone in a dark corridor with an openly hostile man, I would have said something or got my money back immediately. But as it was I just left, scared and furious. You can see I don't leave many negative reviews, I'm not one to bring anyone's business down over one bad day, but this was a real bad time that affected my entire night and I want to spare anyone else from that terrible and unfortunately all too common experience. But hey, if racism and rudeness is your thing, then this is the spot for you. read more

Every single time i walk in there to get my dogs food i am never greeted. I managed to have a transaction with the guy behind the counter this morning and the only thing he said to me was debit or credit, really?! I am spending a lot of money here and I can't even get a hello when you look me in the face. Not even can i help you find something? I am not asking you to do back flips I am asking for some common courtesy. I will be looking for this particular dog food elsewhere. V & V is my go to tack and feed store. They're small enough to recognize me and yet still able to carry a wide variety of items. On at least two occasions they had items that I needed that the big stores didn't have. Plus, if they don't have what I need they'll order it without it being a big deal. read more

The staff seems knowledgeable and courteous but the hours of operation are very random.I've been here twice to buy ammo and the store was closed when the sign says they are supposed to be open. My advice would be to call first to make sure someone is there before you make the trip. read more

This place is one of only 2 pets stores who carry Victor brand dog food. I used to go all the time because the guy who used to work there was very friendly and knowledgeable. Now they have a young gentleman working there who finds it too hard to smile or say Hello. I continued going until i found a new tack feed shop who carried Victor brand dog food and sells it $10 cheaper. read more

Great feed store! We are getting ready to purchase chicks from them since they sex almost 100% of their normal breeds of chickens. They can't guarantee on the specialty mixes, as they are straight run. They also have great varieties of feed. Very friendly and helpful guys! read more

I love this place. I have been buying my chickens here for a couple of years. They even special ordered some Bourbon Red turkeys for me and they were cheaper than me ordering them online. I can't wait until they open their larger store. I have only used them for poultry supplies and they have everything you need but not a lot of variety. Hopefully they will expand it in the new store. I have back yard chickens and I used to buy their feed in Jones & Rancho feed store. Ones this store opened I started using them to buy feed and from time to time new baby chicks. I found that they are more friendly than the staff at Jones store and they have baby chicks almost all year round. The store is well organized and they offer other products for horses and live stock. The reason that I gave them only four stars is that they open from 9:00 am in the morning on week days. I hoped that they would have opened at 7:00 am. read more

I have been coming to this store since last May when the puppy I purchased from a breeder was being fed a unique brand of dog food and we decided to put my other dog on the same food. It is about a 30 min drive from my house, and luckily since the food is in 40 lb sacks, and my remaining dog is tiny, I only have to buy it every 5 months or so. But this last experience was the worst. If not for the unique food and the great volume pricing, I would never come back...because of the TERRIBLE customer service there. This time they had just recently moved to a new address within the same plaza. This is not advertised on the website so when we had driven around where the place used to be for about 5 minutes, we called and were RUDELY told that they are in another spot. We remained polite to the young (maybe early 20s?) employee who answered the phone. Another 5 minutes later (thats how long it took to decipher that the new location was only a couple buildings behind the original one, but very confusing when that's not told to you by the person you ask for directions), we made it to the store. My husband grabbed the 40 lb bag and was offered no assistance by the young man who looked like he didn't care to be there, as my hubby struggled to lift the heavy bag onto the high counter. And when I politely asked if there was someone to speak to in order to update the address on the company's website, I was met with more RUDENESS. The young employee clearly didn't care about customers, or his job. He looked like he hated having to be there in the first place. I have since called 3 times trying to reach the person I was told to speak to about the site (someone named "Frank"), just so I could tell him how RUDE his employee was, but every time i call he is conveniently not in, or the employees seem to be guessing when he'll come back. I suggest that unless you MUST come to this place out of necessity, skip it. Not worth the attitude you receive when patronizing their store. read more
