I found Dr. Patel on the Aetna website using the find a provider tool. It was an easy choice to call her because she has the most reviews available and they're all 5 star! This practice is incredibly streamlined. They already have tons of experience operating from the Las Colinas location so the Preston Hollow location clearly benefits. You just call to set up an appointment then complete the patient forms online. When you show up there is minimal paper work and they get you started with the doctor right away. The equipment is all brand new and state of the art. The office is decorated very modernly but comfortably. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. It's smiles all around in this office. I really appreciate Dr. Patels expertise. She is clearly very knowledgeable and approachable. She explained everything from my tests thoroughly. read more

Nothing like having to wait over an hour because the doctor can't be on time. If I have a 10am appointment and you know the doc will not be in until 11 or later, why wouldn't you tell me instead of making me wait in the room for almost an hour. Terrible business practice and I will not be coming back. One tech and one doc so be prepared to spend your entire day here. read more

The only reason this establishment gets a star is because I was unable to post without giving a star. This was my first time at this practice, and chose it because it was close to home and seemed to be a good spot. Firstly, I was seen almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. I went ahead and ordered a 6 month supply of daily contacts through V EYE P, was told would take 5-10 business days to arrive, and at that time asked if I could get a few sample contacts to cover me while I wait for my order to arrive. I went in to the office to pay for my contact lens, which came out to $344. I was told I needed to also pay $30 for the 5 days worth of sample contacts that stated on the box "NOT FOR RESALE". I went ahead, gave my card to be charged for the grand total of $374, left, went about my day. On 11/6/24, I checked my bank account, saw that I was charged three separate charges of $374, $374, and $344. All charges were cleared, NOT PENDING. I know mistakes can happen so I reached out to V Eye P to notify them of this mistake. I was pretty much told only one charge cleared on their side, to check if it was pending/or cleared. When I let V Eye P know that the charges were cleared, I was then told to file a claim with my bank, so I did. I contacted them again last week to follow up regarding my overcharges as I had yet to be reimbursed, and was again told everything was cleared on their side. I then proceeded to write a review online, and was told by Dr. Patel that if I wanted her help in getting my money back that I would need to delete the review. I went ahead and deleted the review to try to work things out amicably, however, it was been days since then and am still getting no results. read more

Best eye exam in years! My first time going to V Eye P was fantastic! They were very welcoming & professional (we were all in masks ) The office was very clean! Dr. Morgan gave me a thorough eye exam, helped with my crazy dry eyes & fitted me with a Perfect Mono vision contacts! I can see so much clearer upclose! Yay! (TY!) The Preston Hollow Team, Cindy & Marilyn were so knowledgeable about the proper lenses I would need for my line of work to see the clearest! Cindy spent alot of time with me to pick out 2 frames (that actually fit my face & cute ;) along with RX Sunglasses . They even helped me with cost/insurance so I could get the most bang for my buck. I was going to write a great review because I like how they have an optician help pick out your glasses. But it is over a month since I ordered glasses and I still don't have them. They failed inspection twice and once the transitions lenses weren't working. I wanted to refer friends to this practice but I am not happy with the fact I still don't have my new glasses. read more

I saw Dr. Rita Patel a few years ago for a couple of years in Las Colinas. (I lived & worked in Las Colinas at the time). I moved out of Las Colinas and found another job so getting back to see her there was challenging. So, I had to find another doctor out of convenience. Long story short, I was finding a new doctor year after year because I just could not get the level of service and expertise that I was used to with V Eye P. I was out in the Preston Hollow area and walked right by this V Eye P location. I could not believe it. I immediately took out my phone to look it up because to me it was too good to be true. Ecstatic barely describes how I felt. The next morning, I called and made an appointment for the following week. Dr. Patel and her staff were very thorough (just as I remember) with all the information that was given to me. Dr. Patel dived right in, but also took her time with me to explain various things and solutions instead of being quick to get me my prescription and get me out.
