I have found my new go to spot, and recommended by my husband of all people! I had been going to one spot, but started getting dissatisfied in their dip manis. They would add a gel top coat but not cure it properly to the point that it started peeling off, yet the dip itself was still going strong. Then I tried another place, and it wasn't the best work either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally I tried VIP and have found my go to nail tech: Helen! She is awesome and thorough, plus remembers details about me from previous visits.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I normally never want to see a specific person, but that all changed here! It's not crazy crowded here during weekdays, and I always make an appointment so I can have an idea how long I'll have to wait. I go here all the time for my gel acrylic nail fill and pedicures. MOST of the time the price is consistent and so is the quality but today when I came in to get the exact same thing I have done every couple weeks - the particular nail tech I had charged me for trimming my nails?? I periodically get my toe nails cut at a salon, visiting at the same time my wife gets a full pedicure. We have not been to VIP before and we won't be going back. The tech who did my nail trim was incredibly careless and rough while trimming my nails and when she was filing my nails she rubbed so hard and carelessly that she brought blood. Then she used that thing that looks like a cheese grater to trim the calloused skin on my heel and grated and grated without paying attention. I eventually pulled my foot out of her hand and said 'that's enough!' She gouged a 1/4" hole on the side of my heel! My daughter and I came in this past Sunday. She was having a rough day, so I thought that I would treat her to a pedicure. (I also needed a fill). We have never been at the salon before. I'm not sure who did my daughters toes, (short brown/blonde highlights), but she noticed when she got home that her toes were not painted so great. It looks like they have grown out. They were not painted to the cuticle. She did not notice when she was there, because she was having a rough day. It is horrible! She will need it done again quickly-since it already looks like they have grown out. Now my experience with Hannah, was awesome! Did a wonderful job on my toes and my fill. Which turned out that I wanted the old tips off and start over. My nails look great!!! Will definitely be going back to see her. I do think the salon needs to do my daughters toes again at no charge. I do not recommend this salon! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I scheduled a appt to come in at 9:30 and everything was great at the start and I got seen immediately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They seemed to get busy so a lady (Hannah I think) made the girl that was already working on my pedicure attend someone else. The first girl was doing great and taking her time. I wish she could of been the one to finish my pedicure and do my SNS. Hannah however was in a huge rush and was not taking her time at all. Constantly looking over talking to other people/scoping out how busy they were when her attention should've been on me and the quality of my nails and experience. My toes came out ok but my finger nails look AWFUL. Normally my dip takes 45-1 hour but she did the entire set in what felt like 20 min. The process was all over the place and she shaped and "cleaned up" my cuticles (the skin around my nails looks terrible) after she put the dip on? All of that normally happens before so I'm thinking she just did it this way since it would be the fastest? Who knows. She was in such a rush and being careless that she ended up cutting my skin with her tool and I was bleeding pretty badly. She had to use some sort of liquid to stop the bleeding it was so bad which then had a weird reaction with the clear coat and left the dip very splotchy and dented (see pic). They did give me a 20% discount which I was appreciative of but with the quality of my nails and how terrible they look plus my experience I shouldn't of had to pay at all. What a waste of money. This is the 3rd strike from this place (tried giving them the benefit of the doubt) but I'd rather make the commute to La Bella Nails and Spa at Crystal Falls where I've always had good experiences! read more

Do not go by what Eureka's review says. If you look at her other reviews, she's pretty much a Debbie Downer on all of her reviews, everywhere. The place is lovely! They are nice, and accommodating, and did a great job on me and my daughter's pedicures. Any business opening up during Covid with have ebbs and flows, so be patient and understanding. So they didn't have your color pink. Really? That's your beef? I WILL go back and continue to give good reviews when it's warranted. And here, it is. I was really hoping they would be better than other salons in the area. They push upgrades, don't listen when you say no the first time. You have to tell them no several times. My left hand has round nails and my right hand has square nails. I asked several times to round out my right and they didn't. I gave up. My 1 year old could have done a better paint job on my toes. In the morning for an afternoon appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ended up waiting 20 minutes before being seated and another 10 before they even started on my nails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I chose their services online because of the timing they put. I really only had an hour-hour and a half because I needed to get home to my baby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They proceeded to take forever on my nails, taking frequent breaks because of answering questions, getting new customers checked in (this place is huge they should have someone dedicated to just the desk with the knowledge needed). It was a 2 hour appointment when I thought it was going to be an hour maybe an hour 15. I started doing my own nails during covid and unfortunately I can do my nails better than they did. Even when I use my non-main hand. When I got home I reshaped them myself. Granted they did a lot to get the color I asked for (I wanted an ombré...that they advertise they can do online but it's obvious they don't know it super well). The vibe was fine. Music and tv show to help the ambiance I guess. I just moved to Liberty Hill and I think I'll be trying other places for nails at this point. read more

I do not recommend this Nail Salon. I went in today for refills pink and white. I was told by the Nail tech that they where unable to do my nails because I asked for a Medium Pink. He said that they do not carry medium pink only light pink. I asked him how can he do nails For women of color the light pink does not give us a realistic color he just said " sorry we don't have medium pink". That's it I left! I am so angry how can you open up a nail salon and NOT be prepared to accommodate ALL clientele!! How can you just casually blow off a customer with a half ass apology - THIS PLACE obvious does not care about there customers and ONLY is able to take care of just clients that like light pink on their nails. Liberty Hill VIP has my business! I've been going to this location for almost a year. Britney is my nailtech and her work is wonderful!! I get the SNS nail treatment. You know how, when your nail is growing out, the SNS moves with it? Some applications leave a "build up" at the back of the SNS so it leaves a major height gap as your nailbed moves forward. Ugh. She does SUCH a good job smoothing that down as she works to make sure that is not a problem as my nails grow out. She also thins out the nail tips, if necessary, to be sure they are not so thick and bulky. She is always checking her work as if she is doing her own nails. Her demeanor is very gentle. She'll visit if you want, but can just let there be silence, too. Her coworkers are also very polite and gracious. Always ready to help. The atmosphere is calm amd bright with good music playing. I've lived in Liberty Hill for over 20 years. Nail Salons would come and go. The ones I tried were extremely disappointing. Lack of skill and lack of cleanliness were at the top of my list. I kept going into Cedar Park to my fav place there. Last year, VIP Nails opened and I was so excited to try the new salon. I was extremely pleased with attention to detail, very clean shop, friendly people. I've never had the same tech twice and only one gentleman was frustrating and not confident in his abilities. He may not even be there anymore. Lulu runs a tight ship! I see many say the prices are high. My response is "You get what you pay for." A basic pedicure is the same as anywhere else, gel is an add on. If you're a reasonable, honest, friendly person, you will be quite happy with this place. read more

Went here a few weeks ago and to be honest I should have walked out when I saw one of the workers asleep in one of the pedicure chairs. Way overpriced and the service was terrible. My pedicure was awful and looked like a 12 year old did it. She did a great job, great massage and the gel polish turned out wonderful...the polish going all the way to the cuticle! We've tried different techs multiple times and there is always some issue with final design, color, or length. Even after showing photos or explaining what is being asked for it's never right. I had an appointment at 4 and at 430 a girl came to tell me there was noone to do my nails and could I wait 30 more minutes. I asked why and she said they took two walk ins right before my appointment. I was early and tip very well for prompt service.
