It's nice to have this nail salon in Lago Vista. My husband went for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that it is not a bad experience. He saw several other men go in as well which helped. He said the tech did a good job cleaning up his toenails and the foot massage and heat were nice. The people were nice. They could tell we weren't necessarily talkers so didn't constantly chat with us but they did decent work. For myself, they could have probably done a little better job on the polish. read more

I came to get a gel manicure and left completely disappointed. I was first sat down with their extremely rude gel nail tech. Who ended up cutting me, giving me a crooked shape on half of my nails, and then arguing with me about my shape, design, and color. It took 3 separate nail techs to get my nails done because the first two messed up. The job was messy and they did not pay attention to detail. My nail beds were messy and they got polish all over my finger. AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME 56$!!!!! Will not be coming back. read more

I love this place they are always so sweet and always so amazing and me nails turn out great I went today and there was a nice girl who did my nails and she was giving me recommendations. She was telling me what she thought would look best with the nails and she was just being an amazing person and it's such a nice area and it's a very like cute clean ambience and it was just an amazing experience overall I love going there. They get busy so make sure that you call and make an appointment. It's a very clean space and pretty large. No super strong smells like in other nail salons. Parking is always available. I get their gel manicures and pedicures. I haven't gotten any of their other services, but they also do waxing and eyelashes. read more

I was thrilled to call on a Saturday morning and told to come on in that I could be seen immediately for a pedicure and dip manicure. Not having to drive into Cedar Park was going to save me so much time. A slew of new staff members must have recently been hired as there were some new faces in the salon. The tech that did my manicure, Melissa, knew exactly what I wanted and delivered flawlessly and with such speed! Today was her first day at the salon as her salon in Lakeway was sold and the new owner brought in their own team. What a huge win for Lago to have Melissa added to the team. I'm shocked! This place deserves to have more recognition. I did a walk in on Thursday around 12:30-1pm. It was pretty busy but thankfully Nick helped me out for a bit until Amy's chair became free for me so she could take over. Service and the attitude is great! I have NO COMPLAINTS! The receptionist is doing an awesome job going back and forth to answer phones and completing tasks through out the salon. I've never had such great service and nails at the same time. I would LOOVE to come back but sadly I'm only visiting. If you are visiting, this is a great place to stop by. They also take card and even American Express. This place is beautiful and well kept! I've been here twice now and both times the service felt like they didn't really want me there. I wanted to give it another try but I do not plan to go back. I had acrylic nails removed and had them do a regular mani on my nails. Walked out with such jagged edged nails they snag on my clothes! My fingers are rough and look like there's still acrylic everyone. I asked him to finish removing it and he just told me I could wash it off at home. The paint was messy and uneven. He put lotion on my arms but my hands are cracked and dry and my finger tips are rougher than when I walked in. I would 10/10 not recommend. When I walked in I was immediately received with apprehension as if they didn't want to service me. I was asked, "what do you want". I stated I wanted a pedicure and to have my acrylic soaked off. Her response was, "is that it?!" like that wasn't enough services. Once seated my pedicure started about 10 mins after the people around me and I was finished about 10 mins before they were. No oils, no lotions, no drink offered to me like the other ladies around me. Once my acrylic was off, I asked if he could go ahead and just give me a natural manicure. He agreed but the lady who greeted me came back and said, "we don't have time" although no one else had walked inside. I'm not one to pull the race card, but I was the only person of color inside the salon and definitely noticed a visible difference in service. My acrylic was barely removed and my pedicure was pretty subpar. And I know quality when I see it because I go to the nail salon every 2 weeks faithfully. This awful experience made me appreciate my nail tech even more and will make sure to try somewhere else during my stay here. read more

I recently moved to Lago Vista and I love that this nail salon is only 5 minutes from my house. It's my 3rd time here and I have had great experience every time. Making appointments are easy and they hardly make you wait. I specifically asked for a color they didn't have but they were patient and kind to make sure they could make the color to match what I wanted. Communication here is so poor. Was $100 for a gel pedicure ant a kids gel manicure. Wasn't told my daughter getting multiple colors would be extra. Asked my nail tech how much my pedicure with gel would be and she said $47 was $62 she gave me the wrong price. $31 for a kids gel manicure is just crazy. Nail techs do a really poor job here. I used to go because it was closest salon to me in Lago, but I just keep having bad experience after bad experience with dip nails that kept chipping/cracking within a week. $60 nails should last at least 4 weeks, not 4 days. Dip nail jobs at another salons have lasted me 6 weeks with no issues. It's worth the drive to cedar park if you live in Lago for better service and better nails. read more

I called yesterday and spoke to the manager about getting chrome nails. We had a five minute conversation about the type of powder and what color would go underneath. They make my appointment for the next day - great service. I took an hour off work and had my dad drive me to the nail salon today for my appointment and I walk in and they don't have the appointment written down. They then proceed to say hello to the person behind me and act like I'm dismissed. I was like hello? My dad dropped me off so I have no car and need to calm him ASAP if you can't take me. And they go yeah you don't have an appointment LOL. There was no apology or I'm sorry we must not have written it down; nothing. I was dismissed. It's hit or miss depending on time of day or who is working on you. I have had better manicures than pedicures here. The pedicures seem rushed and some staff seem put off they are having to work on you, especially if you come later in the day. I like the close convenience of it being in town, but prefer to go elsewhere. read more

I've had a few bad experiences here and have never chosen to write a bad review because I thought I'd give them multiple chances. Keep in mind this is my first negative review, with that being said I am extremely disappointed. On my birthday I came in with my mom for a pedicure, and I asked if they had time for a manicure, they said no, keep in mind that I am only 19 so I don't get great customer service usually due to how young I am... and then a lady walked in about 5 minutes later asking if she could get a manicure (was not an appointment) and they took her right away. I was very upset because it was my birthday and I had a special night planned. Now, a few days ago I went in to get an acrylic set, and this morning my nail completely popped off! I called and asked if they had 2 minutes to fix it because I doubt any other nail salon has the same color as I got. And Rachel the front desk lady said no...REALLY? I paid 70$ for these nails and it's only been a few days and one was not glued on properly and completely fell off and you don't have TWO minutes to fix it?? keep in mind I am a receptionist so I don't use my hands much! I never lose nails! It was due to not enough glue!!! I understand that this is the only nail salon in Lago Vista so you are busy, but this is just ridiculous. So here I am, walking around with no nail on my hand. Thanks a lot KNN. Update: The customer that you're referring to was not me. I wasn't pressed for time and spent 2 hours there having my nails done and then my toe nails done. Before anyone had touched my hands, the towel that was grabbed and laid down was wet and covered with fingernail clippings and nail powder. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future since it has been brought up. I appreciate the response. read more

This is an excellent salon. Customer service is wonderful. I've visited many salons through the years and this is definitely my favorite. The manicures I've received here have lasted longer than any others. An added plus is that everyone here speaks English quite well and communication has never been a barrier.
