LOOK AT MY NAIL! It's so thick! This was by far the worst experience I had. I've came here before so I was amazed at how bad the lady I got was. I had a man the last time and he did an amazing job but this time when it mattered the most, my nails were so hideous. The lady was an older and tall and she kept feeding me all this bull about the inspiration picture I showed her and how they did it and how she couldn't replicate it but she can try and I said that's fine I get it. I made her fix my left hand nails like 5 times and at that point I was so done with it. They have one lady work on your feet and one on ur hands and I feel like that's where it's rushed and quality suffers. I couldn't focus on my feet and there's a big bump in the nail nor could I focus on my hand nails. It's my 30th birthday and I had special nails in mind and this salon just ruined it for me. They gel on top of the dip they used just ran and got hard and she had to scrap it with the nail filer so many times. It was just so bad and I will not be returning. read more

This place is exquisite and the customer service is spot on. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, directed to a chair and given a menu. I felt very well taken care of and by the end of the treatment I had a beautiful manicure and pedicure. Throughout the whole treatment Mai and Kim were very nice. We had a long conversation and by the end of the treatment I felt like I knew them. Before leaving I bought an oil pen for my cuticles, which works wonders. I will definitely be going back for more. The prices were very affordable too - $35 for a gel manicure and $50 for a gel pedicure. I recommend this nail salon to everyone. Thank you for the wonderful service. I've come here many times and absolutely love it!! Everyone is so friendly and really cares about making your nails absolutely beautiful!! The environment is very relaxing with soothing music and multiple TVs around. You can make an appointment and be seated right away! Parking is easy and free right in the front. If oldie but goodie was a mail shop, V Nails would be it! I consider this salon a staple of Alpharetta because they've been in the downtown area for at least two decades. Every mail tech is friendly and kind. My SNS manicures and pedicures come out great each time I visit. And comparatively speaking, the services are affordable with wonderful quality. read more

I really like this place. I had gone to the same place for almost 4 years, but after my second trip to V Nails... I found a new place. They are very nice and welcoming when you walk in the door. Good selection of colors... lots of Gel colors, tons of SNS, which if you've never tried it's a must do, uses vitamins and minerals to add nutrients to your nails. First time I've been able to grow my own nails in my life. Amazing!! Chairs are comfortable.. easy to get in and out of. They keep busy, but Ive never had to wait more then 5-10 minutes and I dont feel like they rush me so they can do the next person. Very Clean, tools, Supplies, work stations ect.. I chose this salon because they had good reviews and were close to where my 87 year old mother lives. When we entered, a worker providing a manicure called to us and asked what type of service we wanted. It took me a moment to realize she was speaking to me. She did get up and came over to us and asked again. I told her we both would like a manicure and pedicure. She told us to sign in and went back to her client. I helped my mother sit in a chair at the drying table- they didn't appear to have a reception area. In a few minutes someone came and told me which chair my mother should sit in. I helped her to the chair, and perched on the chair next to her so that I could let the workers know what type of service she wanted. Two workers came and began providing my mother a manicure and pedicure. When they asked about color, I explained that she would want a light pink color on her fingers and no color on her toes. I also mentioned that I would like a manicure and pedicure, too. I was told to pick out a color. I told them I would like a gel manicure and asked if I should look at the display of color samples and was told to pick a color off the wall rack, that the gel colors had a dot on the bottle. I picked a color quickly and as I was on the way back to my mother a worker came with the display. I explained that I had already chosen a color. I placed it near where I was sitting thinking the someone was going to start my service momentarily. The workers giving service to my mother did an adequate job, but did little to make my mother feel welcome. I realized that they were almost finished and my mother was ready to go so I put the color I had chosen away, realizing that I was not going to get a manicure or pedicure. When they were finished with my mother's service I noticed she had no color on her fingers, but my mother was anxious to leave. When I got her home she cried a little over the unwelcome way we were treated. They did provide an adequate manicure and pedicure. If you're a regular here I am sure the service is fine, but if you're looking for a new place, be ready for okay service but not a lot of warm welcome. read more

So - it's close to home. That's a plus - it's got new chairs/equipment and that's good too. This is my second visit and it seems a little impersonal - no one really greets you as you come in. I was pleased with the pedi on my first try, so I'm going to do a mani/pedi this time. It's been busy each time I've come in, which I take as a good sign. Although I like my regular nail salon, the hours here (longer) and proximity to home means I'll probably come here more often. read more

I am still sitting here at this salon and am NOT getting my nails done. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was told to sit in a chair and wait. Someone named Cindy (name tag) came over, asked what I wanted, didn't even say hello and started working on my nails. She got up multiple times to work on another client and never told me once when she was getting up. I was told to put my hands in a very cold and no soap water container with debris at the bottom. I sat for at least another 15 till she finally came back. I at this point was so steamed by the lack of service that I have decided not to even get my nails done here. It's fairly busy, so maybe I picked the wrong day but treating customers like this is no way to get repeat business. read more

I love this place! I am very meticulous and this place never disappoints, always a friendly staff, always clean, always professional. Steve takes good care of me and gives me pretty nails every time. Steve is awesome and I like that he makes me laugh. And I always ask for Mai to do my pedicures. Mai is the best, very thorough and is as equally meticulous as I am. they do not take their time at all, or they are very slow , mainly just can't do nails at all I came on a sunday may 1st , i was cut with the nail drill three times!! , I had to tell The nail tech twice to please stop being rough, the nail tech I received was going from a person to a different person just rushing so much, she rushed my acrylic where my nails were fat and not filed good at all. And mainly they are not worth their price at all , my nail tech did not let My gel polish dry long enough as well. I wasted 90$ on trash. read more

Scheduling appointments is super easy, just a quick call and I can almost always get in same day. I do SNS dip powder and now don't have to get fake tips because my nails have grown so long. I found V Nails and Spa through a Yelp search for "eyebrow waxing". Over the past two years, it seems as if every person who has waxed my eyebrows has messed them up. Not the case this time, and I am over the moon! I made an appointment and was greeted by Mai, who introduced herself and escorted me to the back of the clean and nicely decorated salon. The waxing room was comfortable, clean, and well lit. Mai took the time to look at my brows and gave me her recommendation. I agreed with her so she proceeded to wax and trim my brows. I came here one time because I was visiting family in the area and I simply told one of the nail techs I wanted French tips but with a design and I didn't get what I asked for. The nail tech was rude and they wouldn't assist me the way I wanted them to. I'm never coming back here again. The attitude and service needs to change. read more

No no no!! I took my 11 and eight-year-old daughters here. They were given a modified manicure and pedicure - no cuticles, no lotion/cream on their legs/feet or hands/arm, no callous removal (necessary), etc. My 11-year-old requested flowers on four of her nails and I was quoted $10 to do so. However, the technician was unable to generate flowers for more than her thumbs' nails and had to keep removing the polish on the other two nails. The tech then resorted, without approval, to polkadots on the remaining 8 nails. Both of my daughters' manicures were a mess - polish all over their cuticles and imperfections. I was billed $40 for my 11-year-old and $25 for my eight-year-old. There was no special pricing for a child despite the manicure and pedicure for a child being a lesser service than an adult one. Plus the results were not satisfactory. I'd suggest a different provider. read more

I have been getting my nails done for 35 years. Crazy, right? I have been to every type of nail salon. V Nails is, without a doubt, the best Salon I have ever been to. Something very important to me is that the employees speak English, they do. I am more particular about my nails then the dust in my house. After the first time, remarkably they remembered me and what I like. It has been 3 years. I have met clients of that have been coming for 12 years. It may sound weird, but they care about their clients, not just doing a service. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to cut my nails off, Judy was so kind. When I had to be on a walker, they helped me get in and out of the car. You get the idea. I go out of my way to come here, even when it is inconvenient. I can't imagine letting anybody else work on me. Give them a try!!! read more
