A little back story: I moved to Magnolia from California about 6 months ago. Nail salons are a dime a dozen here but the workmanship is lacking. I was looking for someone who can do designs, wasn't super expensive sand just know their stuff. I had to widen my circle from Magnolia. Jen is that person; she's an artist. She's reasonably priced, super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about making her clients happy. She's creative, which I love, she loves doing nails and it shows. Her pedicure was bomb too. I didn't even get asked if I wanted them cut down, he just did. It was a basic French tip pedicure and the tips were basically non existent at first, which he did fix after I asked. I was cut with the 'cheese grater' thing, not sure why salons even use those still, but I now can't even apply pressure to the foot he cut, nothing was said about the cut. I hate how short my toenails are now, the French doesn't even look good cause they're so short. I'll just go somewhere else in the woodlands from now on. Irritated I paid over $80 for a pedicure I don't like, and I didn't ask for the deluxe but got charged for it. Edit: not sure why I'd want a 20% off a pedicure when y'all FUCKED MY FOOT UP. Expect a refund. I can't use my right foot and I have a work event. UPDATE; I am criminally trespassed but I would do it again to make the loser that owns this place feel like the loser he is, foot is infected and can't walk on it still. 4 days later.

However, the technician said I had agreed to ombré instead, which wasn't what I requested. I had also mentioned to the front desk that I wanted French tips for both services. On top of that, the nail shape isn't even one nail is longer than the other and my cuticles were not cleaned properly. The overall finish just didn't feel polished.
