I had a 9:30 AM appointment and was there for nearly 4 hours, only to leave unhappy with my nails. The biggest issue was communication. I showed the nail tech both a photo and a video of the design I wanted, but she barely looked at them and didn't communicate with me throughout the service. I clearly asked for a cat eye design only at the top of the nail, blended downward. Instead, she did a full cat eye on the entire nail. When I pointed it out, she rolled her eyes, seemed annoyed, and removed everything. She then tried to do a French tip version of cat eye, which still wasn't what I asked for. I tried to explain and show her the video and picture again, but she became visibly frustrated, made faces, called another tech over, and walked away without saying anything to me. The second tech was kind and did try to help but I had to wait over an hour to be helped by her. She checked in with me on each nail and asked if I liked it, and I did appreciate that. However l, I just wanted to show her the picture and for her to go based off of that, but it seemed that both of them didn't just want to look at it closely and then do my nails from that. At one point, I left the picture open and towards her so she can reference it, but she wouldn't look at it . Over all, because everything felt rushed, it also made the situation uncomfortable, like I was being overly critical or didn't know what I wanted, when I had already provided a clear reference. Despite her effort, the work still felt rushed. The final result was closer to what I had asked for, but the shaping was uneven and overall the work felt sloppy. There was also no proper cleanup under the Gel X nails, and I had to fix that myself at home. Overall, the lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and rushed work made this a really disappointing experience.

I used to frequent this place a couple years ago and then I found another nail place in the area that I love. But I decided to come back and give this spot another chance and unfortunately I had a bad experience. Instead of soaking off my previous gel manicure, the technician used the machine to scrap it off. My nails underneath burned as she did this and now that all the gel is off, I can see that a layer of my nail was removed in the process. Because of this, my nails are really messed up. They are brittle, breaking, and hurting. I usually get gel done every 3 weeks and I haven't been in a long time to get another manicure because my nails are so brittle and keep breaking from the manicure I got at this salon. I also went with my sister and she is having the same experience after we went here. It is unfortunate because the salon is lovely inside but I won't be back again.

I got my gel mani and pedi combo done last MONDAY 7/6, on THURSDAY 7/9 2 nails had chipped and by SATURDAY 7/11 5 nails had chipped! I was very shocked by this since I don't remember ever having gel polish chip, let alone half my nails :/ After days of frustratingly getting my chips snagged in my hair or on my clothes I remembered the owner told me for new customers they offer a 1 week chip policy but sadly for me I was on vacation Tue-Sun and wasn't sure if I would get to her salon before the 1 week cutoff and when I tried calling a few times to at least leave a voicemail that my nails started chipping by day 4 and that I would like to come in when I returned, the voicemail wasn't even setup to let me leave a message so I gave up hope on getting a resolution. PROS: Fast, friendly, free parking in back CONS: Nails chipped too easily and my big toe nails were cut different lengths. Also, they don't accept tips on your credit card which is an inconvenience for anyone like me who doesn't carry cash or use cash apps on their phone. I am not sure if it was just a random occurrence with my nails chipping or if based on the gel polish I selected but I was bummed that the nails didn't hold up to the great experience I had in the actual salon, thus the 2 stars, a 6th nail (my left thumb) is starting to lift as I type this :/ But maybe you will have better luck than me.
