I was back in the area again, so I decided to come back for another visit. The owner is so nice, and Bao is quick, professional, and such a kind person. I really hate leaving a review like this. My pedicure was great so I think it really depends on who your tech is here. The woman I believe is the owner was great, got me in last minute and it's really nice to see an owner take pride in their shop and be the one cleaning and handling appointments. I originally was going to let this go but this morning my hands stung so bad washing my hair. My manicure was one of the sloppiest I've ever had. She nicked several of my cuticles with the drill and there was blood everywhere, she ended up using some sort of sealant to help stop the bleeding. She drilled my nails so thin they actually hurt going under the uv light and I've never had that happen. I have cuts all over my hand and the not the best polish job tbh. I would be cautious who you go to here. Overall is a nice clean salon, but I won't be back. read more

Kathy and Le are the literally the best. Kathy did my hard gel manicure and Le did my gel pedicure and I am literally in love. They were able to accommodate me with an appointment the same day I called and left me with the biggest smile. There is a chill vibe in the salon, and overall friendly ambiance. No loud noises or music, just calm and relaxing the way a nail salon should be. They have parking being the salon and a door to get in from so you don't have to walk all the way around the block. I was in town and need to find an organic nail salon due to an acrylic allergy. I initially chose Green Nail based on their positive Yelp ratings and made an appointment for a regular mani/pedi. However, I was extremely disappointed my the quality - the nail technician rushed through the entire appointment. She only trimmed the sides of my cuticles, gave barely any massage when applying the lotion (which was done after the regular polish was applied vs before), and the nail polish application was the most frustrating part. The nail polish was uneven against my cuticles and the top coat didn't cover the polish underneath (see photos). Needless to say, my $55 mani/pedi barely lasted 3 days. I've been to other salons where the cuticle care isn't great but the nail polish application is still good. In this case, both aspects of the mani/pedi fell short. I unfortunately won't be back. read more

The nail lady assisting me told me she had to cut it and apply a gel x on ONE NAIL for $7. Absurd when I've had other places fix it simply with powder for free. In addition to that, you can completely see my nail from under. Very unprofessional. They also charged me an additional $5 to apply some thin powder on my nail because I had a crack. I paid an additional $12 to the service I was getting for the bare minimum. Aside from that, the technicians do not know how to file properly. My nails look like mountains. Literally do not come here, I wish I had good pictures of the mess they did to me. I came to this salon 10 months ago and I still think about how badly I got scammed. I needed a last minute pedicure and manicure, so l decided to come here. They took me in and even though they weren't the greatest service I had, they weren't the worst either. Yet mid me getting my nails done, I could tell the women's doing my nails were in a hurry. They kept trying to convince me to do something simple and short. Which honestly is what I planning on anyway, but I didn't like the fact they were trying to convince me that was best every time I brought color, shape, or size. It was uncomfortable. Anyway, I continued to trust the process trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong, I absolutely hated them, they had bumps, lint, and the nail paint job was uneven. I told them I was unsatisfied, and they absolutely did nothing to help. Other than gaslighting me into believing they did a good job. To top it all off it was $203!! For short, gel, and red French tip color nails on both my hands and solid red on my toes. Even though toes were fine this was totally a scam! The salon I go to usually charges me 160/170, and that's with longer length and design! I wish I had more detailed videos or pictures but I was so pissed, I tried to forget it but I still haven't been able to. Save your money and don't go here! read more

I had the strangest thing happened to me today! I went to get my nails done at the same place that I've been going to for the past 2 1/2 years. It's called Green Nail in Sherman Oaks. I usually go to the same technicians every single time. The last time I was there, the technician that usually does my pedicure was unavailable, and I asked the girl that does my manicure to do my pedicure for that time. Today when I came back, the lady that usually does my pedicure got offended that I asked the one that does my manicure to do my pedicure that one time that she wasn't available and told me to never come back to her. not going back. I've been coming to this salon as it opened up after COVID-19 pandemic. I always get pedicure and eye brow waxing there! For my hands I've done different services: regular gel, gel-X, now I do acrylic fill with gel on top. I often get French tips or designs. They really can go far and beyond with your personal preferences. They always treat one client at the time with dignity and respect. I've been here before and it was why I went a second time but the second time might be the last. I got gel x nails after the nail text said my nails were too small to do hard gel. The gel glue burned so bad and I kept trying to get my nails away from the light which she kept dragging back. When I explained it burned and hurt she just laughed it off. I honestly am one to just take the pain silently cause beauty is pain or whatever but that was too much pain. And it would have been worth it if it wasn't for the end result. The paint was TOO FAR from my cuticles, to which my cuticles weren't even done either. It's only been a few days since I got them done and they already look like I need to go again. I'm bummed because I actually really loved the color and nail shape but it's tooooo far from my cuticles and I hate that I feel the need to go again when it hasn't even been a week. I booked a regular mani/pedi & was a bit annoyed that they didn't do them at the same time when there were 4 staff not working on other customers but thankfully regular mani/pedis don't take too long. Overall, I recommend green nail as a solid nail salon in the valley. Over the past few years I have had my share of negative experiences here, but I really respect that whenever there has been an issue the owner and employees do everything they can to make it right. Most recently, my gel manicure turned out amazing! However, the polish the manicurist was using had some clumps in it and she was VERY thorough in making sure it looked perfect. I was sitting there for an hour and a half which I felt like was a little on the long side just for a gel mani, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Their selection of colors and services is amazing! They don't have fancy massage chairs, but they are comfortable enough. I definitely recommend making an appointment as they tend to get busy. They also have space outside if you prefer to have your nails done outside. The techs are very skilled here and they work very hard to make sure their customers are satisfied! I did leave with some weird crusty stuff on my hands so the cleanup wasn't the best, but nothing a hand washing can't fix. read more

This place is so inconsistent... I asked for a pedicure (no polish by the way) and sat down immediately. The service was fast, they finished my pedi in less than 15 minutes but the thing I didn't like was the 3 different prices they gave me. 3 different people came up to me and gave me a different ticket for my total. And she told me if I would like a color it's no extra charge so I should get a color.
