My makeup was 3 shades darker than my normal color which I mentioned to Nelly multiple times. My eyelashes lifted during my photos BEFORE my wedding. My foundation.... lord. It was soooooooooo patchy during my photo shoot I wanted to scream and cry. Luckily my videographer and photographer said they can fix my photos for me. I texted Nelly that my lashes lifted after 30 minutes of leaving the studio and no response. She just wouldn't listen to me. I paid FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for everyone to tell me I looked orange on my wedding. My worst nightmare came true. :( Do a trial. All makeup artists should allow it. I kept calling and asking how to book for a trial even after I paid a deposit. I just got my photos back and I could see the patches on my skin. My makeup is usually flawless. Everyone told me it's Lilit's studio and to go but I wish I didn't. I was promised to trust her and that my foundation would last the next morning even. Well it didn't last even for 2 hours. I'll never get that day back. Ever. The eyeshadow was nice, but when your foundation isn't your color and your guests notice it!!!!! For 400.00 dollars.... I just couldn't stop crying after I hit daylight and left the studio and realized it. I tried fixing it, but only so much I could do with time on my wedding.

I am sharing my experience because I believe other clients should be aware of what happened to me…read more I was a loyal client for a long time and trusted this business with my nails for years. Because of that history, writing this review is disappointing. This was my first time trying Gel-X. I did not request the service myself. It was recommended to me by my nail technician, and I trusted her professional judgment. I was also told that if I did not like the Gel-X, it could be removed. Shortly after the application, I began experiencing significant lifting that allowed dirt and moisture to become trapped underneath the nails. When I attempted to remove them, they would not come off despite repeated acetone soaks and following the instructions I was given. I spent days trying to safely remove the product and repeatedly reached out for help. As the lifting worsened, I developed green discoloration beneath some of my nails from moisture becoming trapped under the enhancements. The longer the nails remained on, the worse the condition became. To make matters even more confusing, approximately two days after recommending and applying the Gel-X set, I was informed that I was no longer wanted as a client. No explanation was provided that I understood. At that point, I was left with a product on my nails that I did not know how to remove and could not safely remove myself. I have now had this product on my nails since April 19th. After repeated attempts to remove it, my natural nails have become extremely thin, sore, damaged, and in some areas bloody. The pain and damage I have experienced are far beyond what I would consider normal wear and tear from a nail service. What disappointed me most was not simply the condition of my nails, but the lack of support afterward. As a long-time client, I expected that if a problem arose, especially with a service that had been recommended to me, there would be some effort to help resolve it. Instead, I felt abandoned while dealing with painful nail damage and a product I could not remove. Over time, I had already begun noticing what felt like a decline in both the quality of service and the level of customer care. This experience confirmed those concerns for me. Things can go wrong with any service. What matters is how those situations are handled. Unfortunately, my experience left me with damaged nails, unanswered concerns, and a complete loss of confidence in the professionalism and customer care I once appreciated.
