The service is always on time and ‍ which means they will work on your areas of your body which you require. I've been to a lot of massage places. I got the $40 half hour feet and half hour body combo...it wasn't anything special...they were super soft, and it felt weak at times...but it might have just been the masseuse I had because I've been here before maybe three years prior and I had a great experience the first time... Why did I rate one star? My boyfriend went with me and got the same combo. His back is burned. He said it doesn't hurt, but it looks painful. I'd be pissed if I was him. Also, I read reviews and saw that many people said that they were rude about tipping. Unfortunately I experienced the same rude customer service. I tipped only fifteen percent because in all honesty, I didn't think my massage was worth $40. When the girl saw I only tipped 15% she was upset and told the other girl something in a different language and the other woman said " you liked massage right," kind of in a rude way. I just ignored her and said thank you, and one woman rolled her eyes, and the other kind of laughed insulted. I didn't have to tip, and honestly I didn't want to tip, but I tipped anyway, and in the end regretted tipping. Shouldn't have given them the benefit of a doubt. read more

The setting is nice and serene. Very calming atmosphere with soothing music in the background. The staff is fairly nice as well. They will try to upsale you when you request a service which can feel a bit of a pressure but other than that the staff is nice. The massages feel great. I absolutely love the foot massage and it's so inexpensive that you can come frequently. They also offer a stamp card that if you go enough you then earn a free massage. Their massage techniques are just fabulous. The only downside to this place is that it's located next to a work out studio who blares their music and you can hear the guy on the mic screaming. Not the best location for the business as this is very distracting and takes away from the peaceful environment But overall a quality experience read more

I told them but they said no more and when I was leaving I still have a tip and they were complaining because they wanted more. Honestly quite perturbed. I just walked out and had debated on writing this review given that I like going to this place but after what happened I don't think I need to come back. Massage went fine - got the $40 60 min massage. Like I said in my last review - this is no Burke Williams but it's great for the price and a quick fix. What happened different was when I was paying. I pulled out my card and paid $41 due to the surcharge for using a card. No biggie. I pulled out $8 (I did think I had $10 but turned out it was only $8) and handed it to CiCi (I was calling her Sissy in the last one but realized it was CiCi). She took it and I saw her eyeing it. In my head I'm like... ok is $8 too little? I suck at math but that's 20% of $40. And then she spreads out the cash on the table. And I'm like oh okay she's legit counting it? Mmmm... then she tells me that next time it's $10 and up for tip. Uhhh tip is not a rule - it's courteous. And like I said - it's 20%. I told her I'm fine taking my $8 back and writing $10 then on the receipt for the card. She giggled and said it was fine but next time $10 or up. I repeated myself that I'm happy to add on the two dollars and she declined. Then she goes on to say "yeah $10 and up because it's hard work." Like wtf - excuse me? I feel weird even writing this review about tip but that was so unprofessional. People aren't REQUIRED to tip nor is there an amount. For the record AGAIN, it was 20% which is above average. I feel odd having to almost defend myself lol I've legit over tip on any occasions. Mind you I've been here multiple times and tipping never been an issue. This place is great! Very small, great atmosphere and there was no wait when we went. The ladies who worked there were very kind. Make sure to tip them extra!! There is a 10$ tip minimum (not the only place that does this) but this is very hard work and it must be very uncomfortable touching strangers so I always tip extra. I usually love coming in here for a foot massage. The lady who does my massage does an outstanding job. She's an older lady. This time, I got a younger girl with something on her lip. Old what it is. She did awful. She did nothing and charged my card 3 times. She did not give me the usual neck and shoulder massage that comes with the foot massage. I was so pleased with V-Spa, but I haven't been in awhile. I wanted to show hubby how good they were, so we made an appointment last Wednesday. The lady who answered (and they always answer "hello," do not identifying themselves or the business) said they were busy and to come in at 9:30pm. I confirmed that they would for sure be able to get two full hour massages in at 9:30, even though they close at 10. She assured me they could, but to make sure and not be late. We arrived at 9:20 and were told someone else had come in ahead of us and they could not do our massages that night. My bad: I didn't get a receptionist name or make sure they took mine... So we went in tonight and got right in. But the masseuses were constantly talking and laughing between them during the massages. Then my masseuse actually answered the phone once DURING the massage and went to the front to help walk-ins twice DURING my massage. Even with these interruptions, my massage ended the same time as hubby's. Because I was getting angry and felt very disrespected and devalued by the V-Spa staff, this WAS NOT A RELAXING MASSAGE!! To add insult to injury, one of the walk-ins my masseuse spoke with stated he had called and they had told him to come in and he was 10 minutes early, but they still could not accommodate him today. He stated this was his first visit and asked for a discount voucher for his inconvenience. She just said no and told him to come back tomorrow. No apology or attempt to placate the loss of a future customer. This is a 60 min service, but is not only foot, when I soak my feet in the warm water I get massage on my head. neck , shoulders ,arms and my hands. Horrible experience. Today my bf, his son, and I went in for their $20 massage and the lady in the front said that they only had two slots available in 10mins at 7pm. I was okay with not getting one. She then tried pushing us to get the $40 massage and we declined. After pushing us, she got on the phone, called her boss, just for her to tell us the exact same thing, they only had room for two. I came here to relax after the second day of the CA bar exam. I asked for a $20 foot massage, but somehow got schmoozed into a $40 massage which was 30 minutes foot and 30 minutes back. This was a cool combination that I wasn't accustomed to so I decided to try it out. I really enjoyed the massage, but with so many shortfalls the experience could have been 10x better. What went wrong: The lady made me pay up front and got upset when I left no tip. How can I tip if I haven't even experienced your massage? She also pressured me later to give her a higher tip? This is clearly a no-no! Also, there is gym next door playing loud music and the walls are paper thin, so unless you prefer receiving your massage with loud hype work-out music this place isn't for you. With so many other foot massages doing essentially the exact same thing, the experience is something you can control! I called yesterday to make an appointment and they answered with "hello?" Ok... that's fine they were able to get me in. I get there and they make me pay the 40.00 up front saying I can tip later.... ok, fine. I tell them not to massage my left foot because I have some bruising on it which they did not touch my foot the entire massage so that was great. I get into the room and it's dark. They ask me to get undressed and lay face down on the bed which I do and the hole smells like sweat and nasty, but I want a massage and I'm only paying 40.00. Lady come in and asks if I want medium or hard. I say medium and she stayed medium the entire time. She gets oil and it's cold I've been to other places and the oil is nice and hot. This one was cold which made it difficult to enjoy every time she lathered it on. My foot was maybe massaged for a total of 5 mins, but it's ok. She finishes up and waits in the front with water and my receipt to "tip" and just keeps looking at me write down my tip. Will I go back UPDATE: went back yesterday 1/1/2020 because it was the only place open and I'm hungover. I got the foot massage for an hour 25.00 cause I really needed the head massage because of the tequila shots the night before. As usual, they try to up sell I'm happy I didn't. Anywho, the older lady is doing my massage. Just tapping at my head, no technique or anything just a tap here and there. No lotion or oils at all. Shoulder massage was over my T-shirt. Other places I go to they massage under. She does my arms and hands. Again, no lotion or technique. Just rubbing pretty much. She moves to my feet and it's just rubbing again one handed with some lotion and oil. I'm able to peek out of the rag they put over your eyes and she's either texting with the free hand or on YouTube changing to the next video the entire time when she was going to switch to the other foot I sit up and tell her it's fine. I told her "it's ok I don't like it" her reply is "I told you, it's because you should've gotten the full body massage in the room" no, girl. You suck at massages. So I go up to pay and she tries to charge me the 25.00 for an hour (I did 30 mins) I give her 30.00 and she says "ok, thank you" (I think the f*ck not) so I tell her "I only did 30 minutes. Because I didn't like it" she then says it's 20.00 then (the 40 min massage) She then starts arguing with the lady up front and gives me 10.00 back. I gave her a 5.00 tip since I saw she was upset, I felt bad. So I gave her 5.00 I shouldn't have given a damn tip, but I get business is business. It's Less $5.. minimum tip price 10% in California I guess. $40 is $10 tip 25%.. But I didn't have $10 and I told her "I came here first time and please tell me before massage about tip rage but I gave $7 to her it's already over 15% "..
