The best massage I've ever had! Ok, ok, but to 3 for sure. I was married to o narcissist for 6 years, so my cortisol runs high. Decided to come here after Ontario Mills because I was dealing with really bad neck, shoulder, and back pain from work, and Cathy was AMAZING!!! I was a walk-in and she took me right away. The room was very clean, calm, and relaxing, which immediately put me at ease. I did a 1-hour deep tissue massage ($70) with hot stones ($20 add-on) and a 15-minute foot massage add on ($20). I called to make sure if I can get a 45min massage. They said yes I arrive and they say only 30 is available. Then they massage me for 22min and say the time is up. I note that I still have time left and the masseuse leaves the room I paid $50 for a 22min massage. They took the money upfront which was the first red flag, And at one point they tried upselling me with two masseuse's for a $100 in the middle of my massage. I of course said no. Be very careful of this place. I highly recommend not coming to this place. I never leave 1 star reviews. This is my first time. Reply to owner: Charlie, thanks for replying, but I think the response is missing context. Here's the full timeline: I called ahead and confirmed that if I arrived by 9:25, I could still get a 45-minute massage. They agreed. I arrived at 9:22 -- three minutes early -- and was told only 30 minutes was available. I accepted that. I was then asked to wait until 9:28 to start, after already paying for the full session. Once in the room, it took 5 minutes to begin, and the therapist ended 5 minutes early, stopping at exactly 9:54. I was watching the clock the entire time because the massage itself wasn't addressing what I came in for -- I specifically asked for help with shoulder knots, and that wasn't being addressed. So to be clear: I called ahead, confirmed the time, and arrived early. The shortfall wasn't on my end. Telling me to "come in earlier" doesn't address what actually happened -- the issue is that your staff didn't honor what was confirmed on the phone. 1. I asked for deep tissue and it felt like Swedish 2. She was texting on her phone and kept leaving the room so I wasn't able to enjoy 3. The rooms are SUPER tiny and floor was dirty 4. Couldn't hear music 5. Total massage was probably 50 mins and not the full 60 because of the texting and leaving the room I've been to other little cheap places for massage massages and they were very well, but I decided to give this a shot since it was close to a nail shop that I tried. I have a recurring back issue due to past sport injuries, Cici (the masseuse) is very knowledgeable in her craft. It's easy to make appointments as well, and the prices are very fair considering the usual rate due to inflation for services such as these. This was mine and my husband's first time going to this place. We called them and booked a couples massage. When we reached the place they asked us to pay first,took us to the massage room and asked us to get ready for the massage. When we were lying down one of the ladies came and told us that one of us will need to wait 15 minutes while the other one will get started. We already paid and were lying down in a vulnerable position where it felt stuck. So one of us agreed to wait while the other one was as getting massaged in a couples massage session.Then she told us that we can give the person who is waiting an extra 15 minutes but you need to pay 20 dollars extra . This was so insulting that you take your customers so for granted that instead of asking them a complimentary massage for their inconvenience happening because of the staff's unprofessional attitude and total fault, you are trying to make more money of them. Another customer came in and immediately got his massage started which meant they had a massage specialist but they decided they will probably keep them for a better client. The massage was awful. The lady was tired,in a hurry and uneven. It was super super painful like I was doing some kind of asian version of painful and unpleasant HIIT workout. The whole one hour I had to keep my body stiff to avoid any injuries.It was a full body massage and she never even touched the lower part of my feet while my husband got them massaged. All in all a very bad experience. Lack of professionalism and no concern for the client's comfort. People come to get massaged for a relaxing experience not to get frustrated and feel worst than they were before. The only good thing was that they didn't charge extra for card payments and they did not talk back when you were giving them the feedback. She was kind and delightful to speak with before and after the massage.
