My arthritis has never given me an issue whatsoever. If he would have just looked at my wrist, he would have seen bite marks that I saw the next day when I got the swelling down. He wouldn't even look and kept insisting it was arthritis. Then they charged me $3834.00 for just walking in and had numerous wrong charges including chemo meds on my bill for a total of over $6400. I spoke to the billing department who is sending it up for an audit. But seriously, $3834.00 for just walking in. Thankfully, I have Medicare and Tricare but still. Check your statements people!!

Even though the facility is clean and the doctors were nice I still don't think I will chance coming back here again. Too many other options in the area that'll try first. My story goes . . . I showed up at 7:45 and there was already 3 people in line. Before they opened at 8am there was 4 more people behind me waiting in line. I got a faulty iPad for checkin and the receptionist forgot to take my license and insurance card. One or both caused me to lose my place in line. By the time I was called, everyone waiting when they opened including all 4 people after me AND two people who were not even in line at opening had been called. Yes there is a sign that says patience can be called out of order for visits that do not involve a doctor but at least two that came after me needed to be tested for strep & I assume that would require a doctor. So I know for sure my place in line was lost.

Four months on from my wellness visit I am being hounded by labcorp for payment due to an original…read moremiscoding when ordering lab work for me. They didn't code the visit as a wellness visit and coded as a meet and greet with a new doctor. This was despite me not requesting a change of primary care provider. The change was only necessary because the provider left McLeod. After I got bills from McLeod , I contacted them and they eventually corrected their own bill but they are refusing to contact labcorp with updated coding so that labcorp can correct their bill. I have spent too many hours of my time on the phone with blue cross and with labcorp and they both tell my it has to be the provider who initially ordered the blood draws that has to contact them in order for this to be corrected.

He asked me to take him to a different hospital. We went to seacoast McLeod And he was admitted. On a good note they were so very very kind and compassionate and treated his condition with the concern it deserved. It was the best hospital experience you could have asked for. They are NOT and 'in-network' provider, meaning you will get charged for services that would be 100% covered at a different urgent care. They willingly deceive by stating they are 'tricare certified'. Bottom-line- do not come here they wantonly prey on vulnerable (injured or sick) military by being deceitful. Better believe I have learned my lesson and will check with Humana or other Tricare contractor in the future before receiving care- this place got the best of me in a vulnerable moment. Hope they are happy.
