Never EVER book your vacation with this company! I tried to leave a review--THEY sent me after our recent stay at the Blacker House, Manistee, Michigan, but they deleted the entire thing! They only left my title and one star. This company is a total scam. They have photos of the property that only resemble the property itself. Let me explain that we had a family reunion in Manistee on the 4th of July, and had booked it we THOUGHT through VRBO, almost a year in advance 2025 for 8.5K however once I received the email, I merely followed the link. Also note, Manistee gets booked solid annually every year since the early 1930's so when we arrived and saw the condition of the place we had ZERO options to stay elsewhere. We had a family reunion. We had to try and make the best of it. On VERBO photos show VACASA as the managing partner with pristine manicured lawn and garden all around the property. They had a strict no smoking rule on the entire property as well as strict no partying rule. The photos showed staged beds-all with beautiful quilts and pillows. The large dining table with a lovely table cloth. When we arrived the lawn was ankle deep and the garden overgrown to the extent it looked like a haunted house. The garbage close to the entrance in multiple garbage pails were over flowing and flies were infesting and just everywhere as we walked up to the entry. We unlocked the door, there were two entry doors, one knob came off. The floor and stairs were filthy. There was actual dried poop in the only downstairs toilet with various implants stuck in it. The dining table was broken, no tablecloth. The bathrooms staged, not cleaned. When I picked up the silicone hair trap in one tub the sludgy hair mass that hung from it was gag producing. Two beds had nothing but sheets. Nothing else. Curtains were grimy, filthy and on bent temporary rods. When we attempted to call for help--good luck. You do not reach anyone local who owns the property or who cares for the property. You just reach their customer service that gives platitudes and do nothing. When I asked for only a partial refund they gave me --get this $250 cleaning fund back. YEAH THANKS! It was NEVER CLEANED, of course they had to give me my cleaning fund back! They flatly refused any other credit for compensation for FIXING THEIR TOILET FULL OF FECES OURSELVES! Or for CLEANING THE HOUSE OURSELVES! Or for not being able to use the yard to play all the games we brought because it was so overgrown! What we saw in the ad, what we paid for was NOTHING like what we got! Also, some of the worst pillows I've ever slept on in my entire life. I need to go to a chiropractor for being there two nights on one of their properties.. Disappointed with Vacasa Cabins in Ellijay,Ga. We stayed at Bear Necessities.My sister and I stayed in one of the cabins over Christmas holidays. We had drove from Florida to Ga Our check-in was 4pm on 4/26. The cabin still wasn't cleaned and the crew didn't show up until 4:07pm in which when asked, how long will it take to clean? She said 2 hrs. I said we were supposed to check in at 4pm and she said it's just now 4. We called the service who handles the cabins. His name was Michael. He asked my sister & I to go get some dinner and he would reimbursed $100. That's not it in this, Kelly also was supposed to reimburse cleaning and give us 1 night because we couldn't check in until almost 7pm. That hadn't happened either. We have it all on recording, that was sent in messages. They are still denying to refund us after they said they would. The cabin online said 3 bedrooms and that is false. It was only 2 and very cluttered. No where to walk around. The photos they post don't do justice. I don't recommend this company to anyone and please read all complaints before renting. They are Liars who run this company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! We were met with plastic flowers and tree stumps in the driveway. The stench from the water in the broken jacuzzi was awful. Then we went inside, it's a major problem having soft spots in the floor. The refrigerator actually leaned toward my husband when he walked by it. Major soft spots in the kitchen and downstairs hall area. The rusty tips of nails sticking out of the walls, loose stair rails, mold or food on the pans and glass cups, vents that looked like they were never cleaned and STICKY CARPET. This was what we found before the power went out in a few minutes of us getting there. We were told we had to stay there until one of their representatives came. All we got was a run around from the company. After a few hours of arguing we packed up and left in the dark with our son. People can fall through the floor and they didn't care. We left in fear of the stuff we didn't see once the power went out. Requested a refund around $1000 but nothing from the company but we're looking into it. They completely ruined our trip as we had no where else to go and refused to refund us (so far) Reported to the BBB and their building/fire code inspectors if possible. read more

Timber Top in Helen, Ga rental company Vacasa. PLEASE BE AWARE... I would NOT recommend this cabin or company! I would like to say the ONLY nice thing about this cabin was convenience to the town of Helen and how quiet it was. We stayed from August 8th to August 15, 2020. Brought our pets for a week of relaxing and getting away from the hustle of the big city. Prior to arrival I received a message via e-mail giving directions, code and wi-fi instructions. Along with how much they take pride and praise the cleaning of each cabin. With Covid-19 we were reassured we would arrive to a clean and safe environment. How each cabin is cleaned using high grade cleaning materials. That all surfaces, linens, all touched surfaces would be cleaned and sanitized. I beg to differ on that claim. NOT CLEAN didn't smell... just not CLEAN!!! I was prepared with my own cleaning wipes. sprays etc to spray down areas and items such as remotes, light switches, door knobs etc which I did before bringing any personal items into cabin. ( i removed comforters from beds and put in closets, I placed washed sheets on couches) l feel never can be too safe. So after unpacking and getting settled my watch fell off behind the night stand and to my disgust i found dust and debris. (see photos) Not good if you have brought your small pets like we did or have small children. I found a small white pill under the bed in the other bedroom. We brought our pets and found this quite disturbing as we were reassured the cleanliness of the cabin. Clean NO, NOT AT ALL!! Floors throughout were dusty (we wore socks or shoes the entire time while inside) The Hot tub was warm even setting to 102 degrees not hot! Only The right side jets worked. The patio floor was filthy ( no rugs), cobwebs galore! Nothing like the photos in the ad! There is ABSOLUTELY no view from any window or door except trees! Now some may find this ok just giving a heads up! The drive from the main road will scrape the front of your car so becareful when pulling in. It is a ONE WAY STEEP UPHILL incline road to the cabin that is shared by 3 other cabins. Luckily we had no issues coming in or out. The incline up to Timber Top is yet steeper and a sharp turn to the right bumpy gravel drive. Steep incline parking to the left of the cabin and straight back on side of cabin is flatter. The shower heads are small and very high up so if you are 6'7" you're good otherwise good luck. (there is a hose attachment) you just never feel quite rinsed off. Hot water was hot using the shower was a bit tricky... FYI pull down is just under water spout. The bedroom closest to the front door has ZIP TIES holding the frame to the bed. I will say the Beds were comfortable. The back bedroom bed is quite high up. Not bad I'm 5'6" and had to HOP into the bed. Kitchen is well stocked although they need to update the utensils as they are sparse and very cheap. The Floors were filthy... you could see clorox or swifter wet streaks throughout cabin. Washer/Dryer works fine, Washer needs to be balanced as it bounced and shifted in closet. Plenty of towels etc The fireplace was left with ashes from a previous guest. The AC worked great the fan in front bedroom wobbled which was a bit annoying the back bedroom not sure about the fan. TVs are large and perfect for the distance from beds and couches. This cabin needs several up dates toilets are very low to ground. And although they have a handy capped ramp leading up to back of house! This is not a handicap equip home. Flood lights in the back did not work Out side Fire pit was large The cooking grill on back patio was VERY CLEAN I feel that Vacasa should be a lot better on the cleaning especially with COVID out there. Wash linens and dishes prior to using. Games where in shelf above washer and many pieces missing. Large side table in living area had several items strewn about such as playing cards, toy cars etc. Cabin is very over priced. Should be a 99.00 a night cabin, not 200.00. Will not go back to this cabin nor use vacasa again. They don't take cleaning as serious as they say at least not in Sautee Noochee, Ga (near Helen) We did notify Vacasa and were told they were sorry for the inconvenience and would talk to cleaning staff about being more thorough! Upon arrival at our rental in the mountains, we discovered a huge burn hole through the center of the deck, with support beams burned and compromised on the underside of the deck as well. A 5,000 plus pound hot tub is 5-6 feet from the burn hole, putting more weight on the compromised wood. The entrance to the rental is through the deck, making it unavoidable. We have pets and small children with us!! Someone had placed a huge pot over the burn hole to try and cover it, but it's clearly still visible. The safety negligence on the property is severe! We immediately tried to contact the main and local offices for Vacasa. We filed an urgent report, but no one has responded to us with a resolution. Two hours after we filed the report, the water shut off at the house. This was last night. We spent the night in a house with no running water, which is a biohazard, and a burn hole through the deck. We would have packed up and left immediately, but it was a long trip here and we would not have believed it would be 16 hours later with no response for Vacasa regarding these serious safety issues. read more

If I could give a zero I would, I had to have emergency surgery the day before my trip, obviously I was going to be unable to go. I asked for a change in dates, I provided at least 5 dates that would work for me and then told them just give me any dates you have and I'll make it work, they refused, I lost a total of $736.48 as they refused to give me a refund and refused to give me new dates. We stayed at a home managed by Vacasa on Quivira in Dauphin Island, AL. The layout of the house worked well for what we needed but the photos online were very misleading. Loved the sun room and back deck area. There was a lot of kitchen items for us to use, which was nice. I was a little surprised at how edited the photos were in comparison to that actual thing. Landscaping and ground cleanup need to happen. The dishwasher isn't secured in the cabinet and the bottom fell on my mothers foot. Secondary bathroom shower faucet leaks. Several rusted drains. Beds and pillows aren't really very comfortable. The unkept garage area wasn't photographed so it was a little bit of a surprise as well. Some of the back deck boards on right side need replacement. The living room couch looks like it's been clawed by a cat. The sunroom recliner is falling apart. The lamp on the right side of the living room doesn't work. A little cleanup and some upgrades would go a long way. read more

We rented the Unforgettable Cabin from Vacasa Rentals and had a hard time finding the place due to the address numbers missing and the driveway almost non visible. The pictures are very deceptive as this cabin is very dated and in need of a lot of maintenance. Also extremely dirty, this cabin hasn't had a good cleaning in a long time, clocks didn't work because the batteries haven't been replaced, light bulbs burnt out in several rooms and a broke leg on the coffee table, the outdoor furniture cushions are as flat as pancakes and as nasty as a meth lab, and the toaster doesn't work. No secenic views from any window, and you'd think for $400 bucks a night this would be a top notch place where you wouldn't have to haul your own trash off, but far from it. Way, way, way over priced and under cared for. They aren't even trying to impress their customers, Unforgettable is about right but for all the wrong reasons. Avoid this cabin and be wise to Vacasa rentals. Never again! RESPONSE UPDATE: How about a show of your commitment to your customers by a partial refund for such a low quality service and product? I had my first experience with a Vacasa rental this past week and I would DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN! The website is very user friendly. The customer service team was awesome in helping us search when I reached out. We had some filter issues and they sent a link with a filtered search already prepared. Super helpful! The listing was great. When we arrived you could tell it was a well taken care of place. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly by the Vacasa team. I received a text message and would just text anything I needed and they would respond right away. Solutions came a quickly as possible. I definitely trust this company and would book with them again for a future getaway. read more

When my sister told my young daughters that there was snow in the forecast for Christmas in Blue Ridge, my Beach Babies begged to spend the weekend in the mountains with my family so that they could see snow for the first time. We packed up Christmas and checked into our cabin on December 23 around 415pm, unloaded all of our things and settled in for the bad weather forecasted ahead. Around 515pm on December 24, the family dog alerted us to a fire on the front porch, along the (locked) garage wall. The next 15 minutes are a blur of trying to put out the fire, find our exact location for 911 and finally realizing that we were in trouble and couldn't get out of the burning cabin. God is good, and we were able to escape safely, with only 2nd degree burns and a couple of very traumatized little girls. My car was parked in front of the house and was destroyed by the fire, along with all of our belongings and Christmas presents that were left behind. To date, Vacasa has yet to return my numerous calls regarding the fire or communicate with me regarding my losses. VRBO advised that Vacasa would refund the charges for Dec 24-25 because we were not able to stay those nights. Vacasa has not refunded that charge. Vacasa has also not covered the additional hotel charge we incurred on Christmas Eve, after we had to evacuate the property. Lindsay, from the local office in Ellijay GA contacted me directly after she was made aware of the fire and assured me that she would handle the situation and be in communication with our next steps. For 2 weeks she assured me she would provide the info as soon as she had it. One week there was an appraiser and she would get the info. The next week the appraiser hadn't been assigned. The third week following the fire, she stopped communicating. Vacasa customer service made note of all of these things, multiple times, and promised someone from another department would be in touch with me, although it is "against company policy" to share what department or contact info for such. My wallet and Samsung watch were recovered and given directly to Lindsay to return to me, although she failed to mention it when we discussed my concern for my missing wallet. Upon being informed that she was given my belongings, I contacted her with the information and asked her directly if she had my things. Fortunately, she "remembered" she did and agreed to over-night them to me. For 2 weeks she said she sent them, but couldn't tell me which service she used or provide tracking info. The 3rd week, she stopped communicating. When the sheriff's office got involved, they gave her 24hrs to "find" the postage receipt. Less than an hour later she produced my wallet and watch with the explanation that while looking for the receipt, she "found it and thought it had been sent already". I reported all of this to one of the call center reps at Vacasa, again, although I don't anticipate hearing from them. read more

We had the misfortune of booking a very very dirty cabin in Blue Ridge through VRBO. It was filthy. Spider webs everywhere- the basement was unfinished (not disclosed on the Vacasa agreement. Vacasa management refused to call me before the end of trip. They refused to even contact me. There was hair on the allegedly on the clean sheets- obviously did not change them. There were pee stains on the mattress. We killed some roaches as well. I have pictures and forwarded them to Vacasa management both local and nationwide - they refused to move us. If I could give this dump and this company zeros I would. I strongly advise avoiding all Vacasa rentals. read more

Cabin "A River Runs Through It" in Blue Ridge, GA was great! Our family took advantage of every perk the cabin has to offer. We fished for trout from dawn 'til dusk, had great conversation by the fire, and used the game room for some competition. Tubing down the river was an option but we decided the water was just too cold for us on this trip. We loved every minute of it! Highly recommend. read more

We reserved Six Bears Lodge in Blue Ridge. The actual cabin does not look like the photos. It did not have a king bed as advertised. Numerous things broken. Only 5 dining chairs. Comforters were dirty. And more. Over a 24 hour period I sent 4 emails and called 3 times to get help with the issues and let Vacasa know. After speaking with numerous agents I was informed that 2 twin beds should have been slid together to make a king and they would bring the bedding by so that we could do that. (Which they never did) They offered to come do it for me but everyone (party of 11) would have to leave the cabin before they came in. I was not comfortable with that. When asked what they could do to rectify the situation I said refund 2 nights. The supervisor called back to tell me that they would only do a loss amenity refund of $200. I would say losing an entire king bed sleeping arrangement, torn and missing furniture, broken curtain rods, missing door knobs, dirty tubs, leaking sink... more than a "lost amenity ". I would not recommend using Vacasa as they do not care whether you have a good experience or not and don't try to make it right. ****Obviously Molly C. didn't read my entire review. It wasn't JUST the bedding issue but lack of cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, etc... that also needs addressing and compensated. This cabin was a huge let down. Booked Hidden Pine Lodge in Mineral Bluff, GA and loved it!! We were the first to stay in this cabin so I booked it, taking a chance since it had no reviews. Finding it was Google Maps was easy. There is one dirt road to the cabin and I never encountered another car coming in the opposite direction, so that was good. The cabin has plenty of parking since the road into it is part of the property. Walking in we felt like it was crispy clean. The windows gave an impressive view of the wooded area. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and plenty of room for a family and large dog. It's close to the Blue Ridge town. Close to orchards, Walmart, Ingles (supermarket), pharmacies and restaurant, yet far enough to feel you are secluded. They had pots, pans, plates, silverware, doggy poop bags, salt/pepper. We loved it and will be back!! read more

We just stayed 3 days in 'Creektopia', a cabin on Fightingtown Creek in Blue Ridge, GA. Vacasa was unfortunately the worst part of our stay. A week before our trip it took 3hrs and 6 minutes (no joke!) to get a customer service rep on the phone (sitting on hold) before our trip bc we couldn't sign into the app after Wyndham (who we originally booked with) sold out to Vacasa. They didn't email, they didn't call, it was up to me to chase down a person to get our info for check-in. The cabin itself was wonderful though! Well stocked kitchen and we all loved the back screened-in porch. One recommendation would be to have the cleaning staff include the screened-in porch area. It was pretty dirty with bugs and the two table tops out there were filthy. Be prepared for a little hike down to the water and back at this location, but the direct access to the creek was fantastic for our two 13 year olds. The owners have put a lot of personal touches into decorating and we loved all the games, puzzles and books! We enjoyed downtown Blue Ridge, but they roll up the sidewalks and literally every store closed at 5pm, even on a Saturday night. And Sunday - everything downtown is closed! We had a wonderful adventure horseback riding with a local stable and all in all it was a wonderful weekend. We would totally rent this cabin again, but it's a major no-no with Vacasa running the rental for now. :( read more

We booked a cabin in the Ellijay Ga area through VRBO and Vacasa was the property management company (host) our check in time was at 4 pm and we were running late due to the holiday traffic. Almost 5 hours later Vacasa cancelled our reservation for the week due to maintenance issue. why were you in our cabin after check in? They then told us they had no other places for us to stay, leaving me and my kids 6 miles from the cabin stranded on the side of a mountain during a snow storm. We found a hotel over 1 hour away. The more I did research on the company the more I found their negative review. Dont read their fake reviews on their website and I would warn everyone not to do business with them. read more

If you are hoping to sleep without interruption, these Vacasa cabins might not be the choice for you. The cabin was PERFECT in every way, except one crucial one that we never would have thought of as important...until we experienced our stay there. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very sweet. We were amazed when we first entered. The jacuzzi on the screened in porch was delightful. The heart shaped tub was a fantastic bubble bath event. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and handy. The fireplace is wonderful. BUT... THE ROOF OF THE CABIN IS COVERED IN METAL. Maybe this is not an issue in the winter when the trees are bare. But we visited in late summer. The squirrels in the trees are constantly "shopping" for nuts...and dropping them on top of the cabin roof. ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. And when the nuts drop on that metal roof, it sounds like gun shots throughout the cabin. This is a silly thing to even mention, right? It IS nature after all. That's why we venture all the way out there in the first place. And this is certainly not something the owners probably even KNEW to consider when building the place. But there it is. We LOVED the whole experience...except that we got NO SOUND SLEEP. We were being nut-bombed the entire weekend! So...keep this in mind when you rent a cabin from Vacasa. Ask about the roof. If they have a wooden roof option, TAKE IT. You'll have a much quieter weekend in Helen. read more

Booked a rental based on a listing on their site that left out the fact that the condo was disgusting. Paid $1600 for a dump. Vacasa reps called me everyday where I communicated the many issues including blood stains on furniture, smelly towels and sheets, bathrooms with mold, and more. Sent a detailed email after being asked to "contact us" about the experience. I was told that unless I had pictures they couldn't believe me - funny because their pictures LIED about the condition of the home. A person named Hilary (works for Vacasa) who "speaks on behalf of" a person named April (also works for Vacasa) needs some coaching around customer service, listening, and tact. Awful experience, horrible problem management with customers, and AVOID VACASA because they are all about taking your money and delivering on sub par products. They contact you daily to ask about your stay, you tell them, and nothing happens. Not worth it! read more

Informed the night before that that home was not available (rented a month in advance) because of BED BUGS. They switched us into a different house. Then called to inform us that they didn't actually manage the property that they moved us into. The night before our trip. So now we're left with nowhere to go, as everywhere is completely full. Cabin (Squirreled Away) was nice and so is the hot tub, but beds are hard and needed to have pillows and quilts added for any comfort. TV in bedroom doesn't work. Couch is uncomfortable and only two chairs in LR are straight back and hard. Love the area and Blue Ridge is beautiful and great shopping. Also a trip to Ellijay is worth it! read more

We recently stayed at a Vacasa managed Cabin in Tennessee. While the Cabin itself was amazing and perfect for our vacation, I have some serious complaints about Vacasa and their lack of response to our reported safety concerns. Here is our story... We arrived Saturday morning 5/7 around 3:30am. It rained all of Saturday and Sunday. Then it began to clear up and we noticed that there were a bunch of bees that were nesting in the Gazebo roof over the hot tub. (Wasps and another kind) I called 6 times in 2 days to report this safety issue. Each time I called I got "I will reach out to our local maintenance group and they will call you within the hour". Not only did they never call me, but Vacasa never followed up with us to see if it was resolved. The final time I called I was told that they had called Orkin and they would be there the next day (Wednesday Now). If I had not called Vacasa, I would not have known that Orkin was scheduled to come to the cabin. However, It did not matter because they never called or showed up. Thank goodness we didn't change our plans and sit around and wait! When we found and paid for this cabin, we had looked forward to enjoying the mountain view, the deck and the hot tub. I am certain that we paid a higher rate for a cabin with that gorgeous Mountain View and we were unable to use the hot tub most of the time (as soon as the rain stopped on day #2) and could not sit out on the deck for more than a couple minutes because they would start buzzing around us. All In All, the lack of communication from Vacasa with this SAFETY issue is unacceptable. I realize that bees are not within anyone's control, but they really weren't responsive to the limited time we had to enjoy the cabin or our needs at all. When you pay more than $2500 for a week rental, you expect to be able to use the facilities you pay for. When something goes wrong or breaks, the management company addresses it and communicates with the tenant. Our vacation was negatively impacted by this disregard for our safety and inability to utilize all of the amenities that the cabin had to offer. As of today, 5 days after check out, still no response from Vacasa. I wrote a review for the cabin when I was asked to via email. It was a very nice review of how amazing the cabin is. I also explained our issues with Vacasa and of course, it didn't get published to the reviews section of the Cabin listing on either Vacasa or VRBO. At this point I feel that we are being ignored. I realize our stay is over but I strongly feel like something should have been done to rectify the situation. Just choosing not to communicate with your renters that pay damn good money to rent a cabin is unethical and horrible business. This property is located on pristine Pickelsimer Mountain in the Blue Ridge/Morganton area. The beauty is marred by the trash that remains unsecured & uncollected. Any potential guests best love woodland creatures because the critters will be visiting regularly looking for their next free meal. read more

i booked a cabin thru Vacasa for Sept 12-16. Recurved a text on Sept 12 saying the cabin was cleaned & could be checked in early. we got there around 7 & found it infested with roaches. They let us check in KNOWING it was infested with roaches. Vacasa didn't try to call or text me & when I finally reached someone the next morning told me that they sent 1 email on that Monday saying they needed to relocate me. That email went to spam folder. Even though every other email from them I received. Spent the next 1/2 day moving to new cabin. This was a vacation for my 83 year old grandma who just lost my papa of 67 years of marriage. This was her very first time to the mountains. Refusing my request for refund of the first nights stay that we slept with roaches. And they KNEW. The cabin is STILL up on their site to rent out. read more

This company is terrible. So disorganized and the phone people are complete idiots. Lots of unadvertised fees that keep coming and they have a crap cancellation policy. Use any please but this place. They don't even have electronic signature capability for signing docs. They need to be shut down. read more

While being close to Helen was great, sometimes you have to get away from the stupidity of Octoberfest. Here, we found the great escape. The back deck and yard were perfect spots for relaxing, the property was secluded and excellent for exploring local flora/fungi. My wife walked onto the back deck and couldn't believe what she was hearing was a babbling creek, it was just too perfect. When we had had our respite from the crowds we could jump right back into town. The cabin fixtures and, especially, furniture could use some updating but we will definitely be back. read more

I went to Blueridge a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend, previously i went there with some friends every year. But this time i wanted something a little bit different - read girlfriend ;). And i must say Sundance Cabin Rentals didn't disappoint, hence me writing this review. Tom was the perfect host and the facilities were excellent. We've had a good time and were so satisfied we're planning to go back a couple of times during the year. So highly recommended! read more

Laurel Creek Cabin- Helen, GA- My stay was wonderful. The creek flowing outside was so peaceful and soothing as we lounged in the hot tub. Though it was too rainy to use the outside fire pit, the inside fireplace was a nice replacement. The king size tub with jacuzzi jets was also a fine luxury. The price is comparable to a hotel, but so much more private, AND I got to bring my dog! The small critiques I have are 1)The grill is a little tricky (could end up a fire hazard). 2) Leave instructions for fireplace use. 3) Less channels available in living area than bedroom (?) 4) PAY ATTENTION to check-in instructions, including directions because Google Maps will NOT lead you to the right place! And navigating at night, in the rain, up mountainous dirt roads is hard. Trust me. lol Other than that, you have everything for a comfortable pleasing trip! Linens, dishes, CHECK! Very close to Helen, but not right in the middle of town = perfect location. read more

So interesting and not surprising the vacasa reviews. lesson learned that there's dishonest co's like this they will pick and choose the reviews they actually post on their site. I google searched "vacasa doesn't post negative reviews" and found all this stuff here on yelp and elsewhere... after noticing they never posted my brief but honest assessment of property and experience in blue ridge, ga. yeh pics looked great, and reviews were great? minus i guess the likely huge amount of negatives Vacasa never posts!! Dirty, numerous issues, from hot tub falling apart, cigarette holes n furniture, broke down wore out furniture that an elephant must have nested in, yellow stained pillows, unsafe rotten steps down side of hill to creek, the list goes on and on... oh and Vacasa?? never returned any emails, and took about two hours... yes two hours on hold to answer phone, then told me straight out, we probably won't ever read your email, better you call... so better i take up 2 hours sitting on hold?? ok so i can empathize with covid 19 layoffs, but be honest vacasa, if your not going to answer the phone, how bout post that on your site, or better yet hire a third party to answer.... your business wont ever recover with the kind of negligent svc I witnessed. if i was an owner I'd be horrified to hear how you supposedly manage my property. never again, go local, call the rental agency, talk to a live person, research the mgmt co! i kind of felt bad for owner? or maybe they don't care, some of the issues likely fall to the owners unwillingness to repair or replace, but jeezus Vacasa, hire a decent cleaning crew and handyman.
