Perfect for a large family or a company retreat, this home would be best for a ski vacation. Just a mile off the main road to Purgatory (one of the best and most under rated ski resorts in America) the county road is well maintained in the winter months. Drawbacks: no hot tub or outdoor jacuzzi; in spring and fall the county road is packed with mountain bikers; summer can be hot in Durango and this property has no a/c. All in all an excellent place to stay!

My concern wasn't the issue itself, it was the initial response. When I first contacted your office, I was essentially told, "It shows as posted on our end, so we don't know what to tell you." I would have appreciated hearing that the issue would be investigated right away, especially since enough time had already passed. Also, when a customer provides feedback, the appropriate response is to thank them, acknowledge their concerns, and let them know you'll take the feedback into consideration, rather than continuing to defend how the situation was handled. It's not professional and it's not a good look.

Heart of Telluride is right in the middle of Colorado Ave. walking distance to everything. Shopping? It's all around. Food? Everything is right there. Grocery? liquor? Right here. Gondola and ski lifts? Quick 2 block walk. If you ski, they also provide lockers right at the base of the mountain. And if you like to partake in the 420 action, they have it. This place is three stories with a condo at the bottom that can be separate or can be rented along with the top 2 floors if you have a lot of folks. We rented the entire place so that means 2 kitchens, 2 washer dryers, 2 living areas, etc. The downtsfairs condo itself is gorgeous and would be awesome if you just have 2 people. King bed, steam shower, living area, fully appointed kitchen. Come up the stairs to the second floor where you find a huge master bedroom with king bed, huge master bath with steam shower and a stand alone tub. There is a washer dryer on this floor. Another bedroom has king bed, full bath, and entrance to the back itself in case you want to sneak in late. Another bedroom also without a bathroom inside but there's one across the hall. Did I mention that bathrooms have robes and slippers? And that the floors are heated? And that the bedrooms have fireplaces? It's truueeee! Then we have the top floor with an awesome kitchen with top of the line appliances and everything you need. And a nice sized living/ dining area along with a bar too. The patio outside is a superstar! Lots of furniture. Hot tub!! Grill!! Views or the mountain and town. The guy that met us and showed us the House was a wealth of info. And we were greeted with a gift basket in the upstairs and downstairs kitchens with wine, bread, a box full of chocolate treats, cheese, coffee, etc. Basically, you feel like the queen (or king) of the mountain if you stay at Heart of Telluride. As it turned out, even with a full house this property was perfect for all. 6 adults and 5 kids. This property met or exceeded any expectations we may have had. Three showers, two tubs and exceptional closet space. The master closet is the size of a small bedroom, and we were able to organize each child's belongings on separate shelves. Hot water was plentiful, as were all kitchen utensils. The larger family style table was perfect for family dinners. The dishwasher and washer and dryer worked well. And as a bonus there is a second dryer in the garage. So we were able to dry wet snow suits and wet bathing suits without having to track snow in the house. Bedrooms were comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus. Pagosa Springs Paradise is perfect for any family, small or large. We rate this property as exceptional.

Telluride is 15 miles away and is known for the Telluride Mountain Village Gondola and Bear Creek Falls. You got to check out the True Grit Restaurant in Ridgway.
